MICHAEL VICK NEW DOG

PHILADELPHIA – Michael Vick bought a new dog – a beagle!

NFL star and current starting quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles, Michael Vick, made headlines three years ago when he was convicted of dogfighting.  Well,  now he’s bought a new dog – it’s a beagle for the Eagle!

As part of Vick’s dogfighting sentence, a judge banned Vick from owning a dog ever again.  But there are three reasons the judged changes his mind and rescinded the ban:  1)  Though injured, Vick is doingwell as an NFL quarterback, thrilling NFL fans with his play; 2) Vick has won over the hearts and minds of the citizens of The City of Brotherly Love;  and 3) Vick’s daughters really want a dog.   “Ah, come on, we can’t deny the girls a dog,” said Judge Herman Wilton of  West Virginia.

After the judge announced his decision, Vick immediately ent out and bought a cute, little beagle.  He named the dog, HutHut.

Here they are together on the gridiron:

Vick thinks that having HutHut as a pet is a big step in his rehabilitation process.

“Having a pet in my household, shows people that I care for animals.”

William Tacatoo, president of the Humane Society of the Pennsylvania, says he has been around Vick a good deal over the last two years and feels confident Vick would be a great pet owner.  “He loves dogs, he really does.”

“I will take good care of  HutHut in my household.  If they want to monitor me doing it, hey can,” said Vick, who noted that when he was growing up in Virginia he had many dogs, ranging from a beagle to a mixed breed.

Since being released, Vick has made appearances on behalf of the Humane Society as well as addressing various students groups on the lessons he’s learned.

“HutHut will live a happy life,” Vick said. “I know that.  He will be the happiest beagle on earth.”

WWN wishes the Eagle and the Beagle good luck…  safe home.

Is this story true? I sure hope not.

I guess Beagles make good bait dogs.

I am so sick of all the people giving Vick a bad rap for what he did. The man served 2 YEARS in prison and has paid his debt to society. He has made a minds for his actions and he is trying to live a normal life. Everyone needs to quit giving him so much crap for what he has done. If he messes up again than shame on him, but as long as he continues to lead a normal life, everyone should honor his ability to do so and get off of his back. Seriously, people do less time for assaulting and murdering human beings, all he did was fight some dogs. I myself am a pet lover and I love dogs, I would never fight my animals, but I can appreciate the fact that Vick took responsibility for his actions, served two years in prison and is now performing admirably in society. Please, give the guy a break…

    • Lindsay says:

So you're saying you'd be fine with giving your dog to him? He didn't just fight dogs he murdered them in the most horrible ways. Maybe you should get some of your facts straight or maybe you think that putting jumper cables on dogs ears and throwing them in a pool to be shocked to death slowly is an ok practice? or that pulling out the teeth with pliers of a dog is ok so they won't fight back when they're forced into mating, or that it's ok to hang and beat a dog.
I feel sorry for any animal that this excuse for a human owns.

    • lcole1964 says:

      kudos!!!!
I couldn't have said it better myself.

    • Someone says:

Dont forget about hanging them and beating them with 2x4s until they stopped kicking. (dead)
That one was revealed in his show out of his own mouth. Funny how all the vick fans are clueless about what he has done… watch his show… Vick himself talks about what he did and to be honest … his whole redemption show made me hate him more.

    • Songlilly says:

he did NOT serve his full sentence! Please do the research. He is not even sorry for what he did, he even told the press that he hadn't been caught– he would still be doing it!

    • Chellie says:

Vick is a dick, plain and simple..He was never sorry for what he had done to those dogs, wait, I take that back, he is sorry,,sorry that he got caught……

    • Patty says:

why give him a Break? would you give a Child Abuser a break or someone who Rapes and kills kids? NO!!!!!!!!! ALL I CAN SAY HE IS A MURDERING SOB AND KARMA IS A BITCH AND I HOPE HE GETS WHATS COMING TO HIM IN THE LONG RUN NO MURDERING ASS HOLE DESERVES TO EVER OWN ANOTHER LIVING ANIMAL AS LONG AS THEY LIVE . ALL RESPECT GONE FOR AN ANIMAL ABUSER I HOPE HE ROTS IN HELL

    • Sandra says:

I'd like to give him a break…I'd like to break his freaking neck…but Karma will have her way and he will pay…far more than the 18 months he served in jail….

    • lesley says:

Vicks is a monster who should still be locked up! Shame on society for rewarding him with wealth and glory. What he did was pure, base EVIL…….get your eyes off the hype and glitz and take a good look at what this monster did to helpless animals……………and this barbaric practice is still going on! He didn't take responsibility….he was caught!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Jayme says:

Give him a break? I would love to, every bone in his body. NO animal lovers do not do what he did. What is a judge doing allowing him to own anything? If i was a mother of his children I would be fighting tooth and nail, to make sure he never saw his children again. How many people would be so Pro-Vick if he was sitting on the side lines not being the football hero? This makes me sick, as do all the so called animal lovers that have forgiven him. The law sucks, do you really think that he will hold his temper if this dog does something he don't like. NO !!!! He is an abuser, plane and simple, and a pro football super hero does not make a bit of difference to me. He did his time, let him get on with his life. As long as it is animal free. I shake my head, wondering how you can trust the Humane Society if they in fact stand behind this monster.

    • Ellen says:

People who torture, yes that is what he did…he did not just fight dogs, he also threw them in a pool and electrocuted them, do not get another chance. In my opinion they should not be allowed to have children either. The statistics are out there animal abusers are often child and women abusers as well.

    • kirstan says:

You idiot. He went to prison for racketeering, not dogfighting. He did NOT pay for what he did… nor have any other dogfighters. I'm so sick of all you idiots siding with him b/c he plays ball (and not even that well…) b/c you THINK you know what he went to prison for – it was NOT for dogfighting. He killed and tortured dogs, isn't sorry, got some publicity, played ball for a game or two and is still nowhere near the type of human who should ever be able to have a dog again.

    • kel says:

The man never served a day for torturing/murdering animals or for dog fighting, he served for racketeering.

    • max340pug says:

the only break he deserves is a broken neck.

    • Heather says:

im sorry but when you hurt/kill a living creature you shouldnt get a slap on the wrist you should be euthanized!!!

    • Shae says:

He did not take responsibility for his actions. He blamed it on his upbringing. I'm sorry, but there is no way that a person who is morally sound could think that killing/abusing AS MANY DOGS as him could have thought that what he was doing was right or okay.

    • Peanut says:

He killed over 65 pitbulls in his dog fighting ring. You let a normal person do that and see if they get any mercy, no they wouldn't and you're a stupid ignorant asshole for thinking he deserves a second chance. I bet you've never even owned a pittie, I bet you've never even read the stories of the pitbulls who have survived this dumb asses abuse, you don't know what horror they had to go through. And you think this guy deserves a second chance.. Dear God, I hope you don't have kids.

    • Jessica says:

U call yourself an animal lover?!!!! Bullshit!!!!!!!

    • Luanne Meadows says:

He never accepted responsibility he took a lesser plea, get your info correct, and slamming a dog onto concrete , repeatedly, does not nor will ever constitute being a dog lover.

    • stormy bc says:

People don't want to hear the truth. No one is ever going to change their minds because they are closed off. The almighty football is more important than a dogs life. Something they can all be proud of and will have to live with. Morals—people who support him have none. People who support him should be ashamed of themselves. They won't, nor do they care to educate themselves about what the disgusting human being did. Wasting breath trying to get them to open their eyes to the truth. I guess famous people can get away with murder after all:( If this was your neighbor, I highly doubt you'd be okay about it. You'd be wanting the person out of your neighborhood. Sad state of the world when sports and fame seem to be all that some people can see. I feel sorry for this beagle. This man does not know how to love an animal. He has shown how he loves animals and it is disgusting. I wouldn't trust this guy. Bet he still is involved in dog fighting….he's just smarter now.

    • guest says:

      He didn't change………HE GOT "CAUGHT"……HE IS A SICK, POOR EXCUSE FOR A HUMAN BEING……

  5. urkiddin says:

Are you absolutely sure those photos are authentic? They both look heavily Photoshopped to me, especially the second one. The one with the dotted blue line above the Beagle looks like a very apparent bad fitting layer plus the dog itself would need legs 3 feet long to be able to stand that high to Vick's hips. This is a joke, right?

I wish Vick would just disappear. And take his buddy Obama with him.

  6. Cleasanta says:

photoshopped and poorly done too! What a load of bullshit!

  7. Elisabeth says:

Unbelieveable! I thought he was Court Ordered Not to own a dog! He is a disgraceful human being. He basically got away with these horrible murders of innocent dogs (2 years pls!) & now he wants a "pup" of his own. I am so sick of celebrities getting away with anything & everything. There is no room for for this behavior in a civilized society. He can play football—who cares! He is a horrible, cruel human being & should Never be allowed to own any animal.

  8. laughing at you says:

supposed to be comedy people.but i guess the funny part, is that people actually believe this rag .

  9. sad says:

I feel so sorry for that dog. I got rid of my Eagles Team shirt. I no longer can support them.
    Very sad

  10. Kay says:

What a horrible human being he is. That judge should have told him to explain to his daughter about consequences for deplorable actions. That judge must have taken his stupid pills for letting a person like him have a dog. He tortured countless numbers of dogs and now he has a right to own one. Just because he has fans fooled others should be more rationale logical and quite thinking about only football. How about they think of all the innocent lives he ruined with what he did.

  11. Frank G says:

Not only should this murderer and felon still be locked up, he should never have been allowed back into football. His owning of a dog is an obvious public relations stunt. He claimed dog fighting really wasn't his fault because growing up he learned that dog fighting is black culture.

In this country, we celebrate the athlete regardless of whatever immoral and degenerate actions they are involved in. There are many deviants in the NBA and many many felons in football. Big money allows these ignorant hooligans prosper and thrive so the team owners can make even bigger fortunes.

all those who support Vick. Think of this. Imagine your children growing up and getting involved with dog fighting. Imagine them raising 20 abused pitbulls that are chained outside all day, taught to be aggressive, beaten, starved, so they can put them in a ring to fight for the purpose of gambling. Then imagine YOUR child murdering their losing dogs by electrocution, hanging and as Vick admitted to Body Slamming to DEATH.

what would you think of your child? is that the type of person you would want to raise? For all the men out there who don't think this is an issue, imagine what your wife would think? Well, Vick is the poster boy for these actions. By allowing him back into football, you, the football fan have validated his actions.

It's one thing to get a second chance, it's another thing to allow someone who killed dogs without regard for life and gambled on whether his dogs would win a fight, to be a role model for your kids.

    • MsLily says:

If parents are a role model for their children then they don't' have to depend on athletes. When a person goes to jail, serves their time, and comes out they should be allowed to go back to work. This is what he was doing for a living before he went to jail and should be allowed to continue just like others do. Since his release he has done everything possible to educate himself and support various animal rights groups. He can't change what he did, but he can change what he does in the future. People with children should focus their time on educating them about things like this and why people should be forgiven and be allowed to change their life.

    • GShepherd says:

I don't believe you have listened to him speak about what he did or you surely wouldn't be saying this. The only reason he isn't currently fighting. torturing and murdering innocent animals is because he was caught and forced to stop, he has said this himself. If this horrible act was done by someone who wasn't famous for playing a stupid game that Americans ridiculously hold in high regard, he would NOT have been allowed to return to his previous job and people would NOT forgive and forget. He is laughing at how stupid you all are for letting his life return to normal, even he knows that shouldn't have happened. Personally I believe he will receive what he deserves someday……..you don't really get to get away with that type of cruelty……….eventually it will come back and bite you in the ass!

    • Ellen says:

ABSOLUTELY! Frank you have done your homework and are notblinded by the aura of sports hoopla.

    • Lynn says:

I agree with everything you said

  12. Patty says:

You Have To Be Kidding He Got A Dog? That No Good SOB Murder Got A Dog? He Is A Dog Killer An Animal Abuser He Will Always Be A Dog Killer. I Would Love To Put Raw Meat On Him And Turn The Dogs Loose He Is A Loser And DOG KILLER

  13. jerry says:

Im sure that Judge also allowed Drunk drivers who killed people off the hook as well….".Ahh, will give him one more chance". It Goes to show how funded our system is by people with lots of money and pull……..If it was up to me Vick should not be able to watch the Animal channel….He Broke the law and Now He needs to Carry the wieght on his shoulders for the rest of his life…….in his case there is NO second chances…I have two dogs (pitts) and foster a third…..He is on the top of the Shit list in my book…….He should be sentenced to pick up Dog shit for the rest of his life. Period!

  14. Cindy says:

Michael Vick not only fought dogs, but he also totured dogs that didn't perform well by electrocuting them, droening and slamming them to the ground until death. He did NOT serve any time for animal cruelty. His time served was for operating an illegal dog business. He lied to the NFL until his 2 buddies ratted him out for a plea bargain. He was hired back by the NFL (Since when does the NFL hire felon's?) given a 100 million dollar contract. Received numerous awards, received endorsement contracts and became a spokeperson for the HSUS against dog fighting (Wayne Pacalle from HSUS rallied for Michael Vick). Michael Vick is a sick sick person and the judge who let him have a dog needs to be fired from his job!

  15. Rebecca says:

This better be a freaking joke! No sane person would allow it.

  16. MICHAEL VICK HATER says:

To anyone who defends Vick in any way shape or form- shame on YOU! He paid his debt to society??? What a joke! he murdered animals in the most vicious of ways for not winning a fight after they had their faces ripped off by other dogs? he didn't do it humanely, which why it was done is sickening beyond words, but to do it in ways that show how IN-human this sludge is and then act as though he will EVER be normal is just as bad as the acts he committed. You are despicable to me!

  17. Tina says:

Monitor him like crazy. He should not be allowed near any animal. When his team plays I always root for the other team because I can’t stand him.

  18. gloria says:

I THOUGHT THIS DOG KILLER WAS BANNED AGAINST EVER OWNING A DOG AGAIN THIS IS JUSTICE BULLCRAP.THAT MURDERER HAS ANOTHER DOG TO ABUSE THEN KILL THIS IS SO WRONG JUST BECAUSE THE ASSHOLE HAS MONEY HE THINK HE CAN DO ANYTHING HE WANTS.WONDER IF THIS IS HIS NEXT BAIT DOG I BET IT IS

  19. max340pug says:

the pics look 100% fake, but the ignorance of people leaves me not doubting the judges decision to allow this evil murderer to own a dog. as I said, the only break Vick deserves is a broken neck.

  20. max340pug says:

and Im sick and tired of these so-called heros who's only ability in life is to throw a stupid ball around get away with murder…case in point, O.J. Simpson, and now this moron Vick. Get a life society, these idiots are nothing more than jocks making millions off of suckers, PERIOD.

  21. max340pug says:

and Im sick and tired of these so-called heros who's only ability in life is to throw a stupid ball around get away with murder…case in point

  22. Contessa says:

The dogs he harmed are all still living with the things he did to them so no i will not forgive him, maybe not ever. No amount of court required paying for his sins will work for him to earn my forgiveness. Those dogs are still living with a lifelong illness caused from being bitten. They will never recover, one even had her teeth surgically removed. How would he feel to have his teeth removed? No dog deserves that. To fight dogs for money when you don't need money is absolutely heartless and beyond my understanding. His children should not have to suffer they didn't do anything wrong. That is the only part I understand and cannot fault the judge for that. I'd like to see him volunteering his time at an animal shelter or rescue and give his money willingly to animal groups not affiliated with the humane society who only donate 1% of their money to animal shelters in need. Maybe then I would change my mind or if he used his connections to help break up some fighting rings, maybe then I might believe he was actually sorry.

    • Donnitta says:

Contessa, no not all the dogs he harmed are still living…..he drowned, electrocuted, and body slammed them to death

  23. Wanda Collicutt says:

OUTRAGEOUS… The judge needs to step down… this is a travesty… All those dogs that he, himself abused, and killed with his bare hands, the dogs that he electrocuted, drowned and beat again the ground until they were dead, then he would go kiss his children good night, what a monster, those children don't have to look under their beds they know where the monster is … He should not be allowed to be around children, never mind animals. What an example, next his children will grown to think that abuse is OK… Shame on humanity for allowing this monster to appear on TV, getting paid millions, holding his head up high, with the satisfaction of knowing "he got away with murder" truly a shameful day, for the entire USA…

  24. Erin says:

    I will believe it when I see a picture that's not photoshopped…either way,it's a bunch of bull

  25. jtwaldie says:

I wonder what sickvick has in store for this little canine;electrocute, hang, drown, body slam? vick is a low life scum, always was, and always will be. The only break this maggot deserves is in the spinal column-paralyzed for life-respirator dependent. I pray he breaks his neck either on or off the playing field…..
