LANDON DONOVAN LOVE CHILD

SOUTH AFRICA – The World Cup is over for team USA but one player is still making headlines!
Landon Donovan can certainly say he had a productive World Cup. Although he didn’t wear the captain’s armband, he lead the team in scoring and through his actions on the field. Donovan finally lived up to the expectations and showed many the brilliance we’d come to expect. His “play” off the field is raising some additional headlines.
A British tabloid is planning to feature a story about a woman who claims to be pregnant with what she says is Donovan’s child. A day after Ghana ousted the Americans from the World Cup, the 28-year-old soccer star took a shot to his usually very clean image.
“If I need to take responsibility, then I will provide the appropriate support,” Donovan told Sports Illustrated.
He has not denied paternity.
Donovan has said that he was blindsided by the pregnancy news during America’s World Cup run. Donovan is currently married to “Rules of Engagement” actress Bianca Kajlich and he refused to comment further. He called the situation a “private matter.”
The love child was reportedly sired last winter during the 10 weeks Donovan spent playing for Everton, England, in the English Premier League.
