TROY POLAMALU INSURES HAIR FOR $1 MILLION

NEW YORK, NY – One NFL star is making sure his trademark look gets a little protection!

When it comes to intimidating players on the field, no one does it better than Troy Polamalu. When he picks up a head of steam and that hair is flapping in the wind, it’s like a lion going to tackle a gazelle. If there has been one thing Polamalu has become known for in the NFL – it is his hair. That long, flowing mane of hair has become his trademark and he’s gone an extra step to make sure it’s protected.

Thanks to Head & Shoulders, the Pittsburgh Steelers safety now has a $1 million insurance policy on his signature curls. How many people can say they have insurance on their hair? Polamalu has not cut his hair since 2000, and has been a Head & Shoulders spokesman for the past two years.

According to the press release by Head & Shoulders, the policy will be handled by massive British reinsurer Lloyd’s of London. The haircare brand boasts that Polamalu’s legendary locks are “so ridiculously full and thick that end to end his hair spans 100 football fields.”

“Head & Shoulders has gone above and beyond by insuring my Samoan locks for a cool $1 million dollars. This reinforces that my full and thick hair is unstoppable,” Polamalu said.

this is a great brand ambassador for head and shoulders. troy polamalu is what we are currently missing in professional sports. Who cares about his care, he is a great player that doesn't wreck motorcycles and rape women

I enjoy the little reference to Big Ben in there .. too bad we now have a ton of great players who are involved in some or the other controversy .. people getting paid millions should not behave like juveniles
