WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama reportedly said The U.S. Constitution is out-of-date, so he is ripping it up and writing a new one.
President Barack Obama reportedly told reporters last night that the U.S. Constitution has become a hindrance to progress in America. “The document is so out-dated, that it is now becoming a hindrance to governing the country.”
Obama has signed an Executive Order voiding the U.S. Constitution. “We need to move forward. We need change.”
Obama reportedly said he has already drafted a new constitution and that Americans “will love what I came up with.” Insiders say Obama is keeping a lot of old elements from the original constitution “he’s just making it better, bringing it into the 21st century,” said White House Spokesman, Jay Carney.
Many Democrats said that President Obama was a constitutional scholar and probably the only President – since the Founding Fathers – who is qualified to change the Constitution.
“President Obama knows more about the Constitution than any man who has ever lived,” said Minority Leader, Nancy Pelosi. “It’s about time we change that document and we are lucky to have President Obama to do it.”
Republicans, of course, were outraged that Obama would even consider changing the constitution, and they vowed to fight. “We will fight this to the bitter end,” said Speaker of the House, John Boehner, “there’s no way we are going to let the Constitution of the United States be altered even a little bit. If there are changes to be made to the Constitution it should be done the appropriate way – through amendments and we think Paul Ryan and Eric Cantor are the ones to make any changes.”
Insiders say the new Constitution will look a lot like the constitutions of Kenya, France and Soviet Russia.
There are many, many changes in the New U.S. Constitution, but here are a few of the highlights.
1) SUPREME COURT – Will now have 11 members, which reflects the growing U.S. population. President Obama will appoint two new members immediately. The President can name a new justice without the approval of Congress.
2) EXECUTIVE FINANCIAL POWER – The President will have the power to unilaterally enact any financial policy he chooses, without approval of Congress. He must inform them, but they can not “stop” the President from promoting his (or her) agenda.
3) LOBBYISTS – They will now be outlawed. There will be no more lobbyists in Washington. However, there are some exemptions outlined in the New Constitution” : Trial Lawyers, National Education Association and unions. They will all be able to lobby.
4) REPRESENTATION – California, New York and Illinois will double the number of representatives in Congress – permanently. “The President feels that the smartest people in the country live in these states, so they should be over-represented,” said a White House spokesperson.
5) GUNS & RELIGION – Both will be banned in the United States.

I wish that History (World & American) were required courses until high school graduation and passing history on the SOL was required for graduation. Perhaps then Thomas Jefferson's plan would be successful. He is the reason we have public schools and thought they were necessary to prevent crooked politicians from tricking people into voting for them. This CAN NOT be true! The office of the President is UNDER the U.S. Constitution not above it. Not even an Executive order by the President can give the President the power to change our Constitution. To alter the Constitution requires a Constitutional Convention.

I couldn't agree more Leah. I smh when I read this rubbish (people opining on the constitution). Ive spent may years reading it and the subsequent court decisions that helped shape it. I search in vain on this page for a person who understands it and can remark on it. Since before Marbury v Madison it was known as a privilege of the executive to appoint to the SC. It's the best way to implement your policies when they come into constitutional question so it doesn't surprise me that this includes an expansion of the court. Marbury v Madison led to a similar expansion. Any first year constitutionalist knows that. Now whether or not Obama is attempting this? It would be wise if he didn't. The country is already on pins and needles. It needs only the right thing to ignite the powder. But I'm not remarking on the story I'm remarking on the responses. you must not have studied the history of the constitution or read the letters during the writing of the constitution or else you would understand why they decided give each black a 3/5 place . It was not that blacks were 3/5ths human, that is not what it was about at all. It was because our founding fathers, the majority of them did not believe in slavery. But the states that wanted slaves also wanted to get representation for each person including the slaves. The founders were hoping that by limiting their voting representation they would stop slavery. The 3/5th vote was to help blacks, not to hurt them. It was saying to the slave owners, don't try to use your slaves for your votes and trying to get power. You also have to understand that it was King George that forced the colonialists to have slaves. Read up on some real history, not revisionist history.
The Constitution does NOT state that blacks are "3/5of a human being." The term "human being" does not appear anywhere in the Constitution. Neither does the word "black.'
What it says actually says is, "Representatives and direct Taxes shall be apportioned among the several States which may be included within this Union, according to their respective Numbers, which shall be determined by adding to the whole Number of free Persons, including those bound to Service for a Term of Years, and excluding Indians not taxed, three fifths of all other Persons."
What that means in today's language: "To find out how many representives a state will have in Congress (and how taxes will be determined), do this. Count all the free persons in that state and write down that total. Then count all indentured servants in that state — except for Indians who are exempt from taxation — and write that number down. Then count everyone else in the state and write down that total. Add the first number and the second number and 3/5ths of the third number and that total will determine how many reps a state will have in Congress.
