Mayan archaeologists met in Guatemala and confirmed the end date for the Mayan Prophecy is December 21, 2012. That’s when the world will end.
Archaeologists reportedly reviewed a newly discovered 1,300 year-old Maya text that provides only the second reference to the “end date” of the Maya calendar on December 21, 2012. The discovery, one of the most significant hieroglyphic find in decades, was announced at the National Palace in Guatemala. Al Gore was in attendance, representing the United States.
“This text talks about ancient prophecy,” says Marco A. Comito, Director of Tulane’s Research Institute and co-director of the excavations at the Maya ruins of La Corona. “This new evidence suggests that the 13 Bak’tun date was an important calendrical event that would have been celebrated by the ancient Maya,” says Comito.
Archaelogists from Rutgers University in New Jersey and the University of Rome went on to say that the end date for the world is clearly stated in the hieroglyphics.
“They knew how long the world would last and they were extremely confident about the apocalypse. They were much more advanced they we are today,” said Professor Katya Malley of Rutgers. ”I wouldn’t make any long-term plans. There’s no need to buy Christmas presents.”
The archaeologists gathered at “Site QQ” in Guatemala. Site QQ is the source of many looted sculptures whose whereabouts had remained a mystery until its rediscovery only fifteen years ago.
In 2012, archaeologists excavated in front of a building that had been heavily damaged nearly 40 years ago by looters looking for carved stones and tombs. “Last year, we realized that looters of a particular building had discarded some carved stones because they were too eroded to sell on the antiquities black market,” said archaeologist Tomas Barbarinto, “so we knew they found something important, but we also thought they might have missed something.”
In fact, in 2012, excavations not only recovered 10 more discarded hieroglyphic stones but also something that the looters missed entirely—an untouched step with a set of 12 exquisitely carved stones still in their original location (in total, 22 carved stones were recovered). Combined with the known looted blocks, the original staircase had a total of no less than 264 hieroglyphs, making it one of the longest ancient Maya texts known, and the longest in Guatemala.
Several archaeologists said that the discovery of newly carved stones not only have great historical importance but these new stones offer the final definitive proof that the world will end.
“There have been a lot of reports and editorials stating that the Mayan prophecy is a hoax or that the predictions will prove to be false, but almost all the predictions of the Mayans have come true. If you were a betting man, you’d bet on the world ending. I am,” said Professor Malley.

The time of the solstice is 11:12 Greenwich (universal) Time. On the West coast of the US, that's 3:12 PST. The universe will breathe a huge sigh of relief if this world ends, eh?

If the Mayans couldn't even determine when they will die, how can they determine the end of civilization?
Its not necessarily that it will just abruptly stop, but the impact of civilization will create a new world and the downfall of the world. For example, global warming and the increase of global warming is because of society, which has an effect on crazy and different weather.

The Aztecs immune systems weren’t evolved like their European conquers because they didn’t have problems with illnesses such as the common cold.
Incas- Their Emperor was taking hostage by Fransico Pizzaro and his men after they realized the abundance of gold that the natives wore as jewelry and even pottery. Gold was used not for “trading purposes” but as a soft metal that was easily molded into ;different shapes. The Spaniard and his men held the Emperor hostage and told the natives they’d release him if they in return received all of their gold. The Incas did as the Spaniards requested but still Pizzaro still killed the Emperor who to the natives was viewed as a their divine ruler. So they eventually fell apart.
As for our notorious Mayans.
Mayans- They were a highly advanced civilization that built their whole culture off of the celestial of the stars. They were known throughout history as hieroglyph makers. For those who don’t know the purpose of a hieroglyph. Lets put it into modern day relations. Hieroglyphs are compared to our english alphabet. It was their language through pictures. Now, as far the destiny or fate of the Mayans. They WERE NOT CONQUERED BY THE SPANIARD’S! They for reasons unknown TODAY left and abandoned their civilizations LONG BEFORE THE SPANISH EVER SET FOOT IN CENTRAL AMERICA. Now that doesn’t mean they vanished or disappeared because there’s descendants that exist today. But for whatever reason decided to split up.
Today, Mayan culture is still being explored. But due to vandalism of looters and old age. Many of its history is still being uncovered.
In my opinion, I believe as advanced as they were. I believe they understood the reality of what can happen when a civilization becomes so technologically advanced and superior at a rate that becomes so spontaneous that each and every way you turn can consume the human’s mind, body, and soul. That they sensed a greater evil at hand and knew, they have to dilute themselves among the world. Look at our today’s society and every person who reads this will agree. Mankind today wants to be in touch with nature as we were just only a century ago. The Mayan’s lived in a society that was balanced. They were in touch with nature and had scientific minds that understood things our scientists with computers are just tapping into today.
Some kids can search this up and it will get them scared for life.
