NEW YORK, NY – Mel Gibson may have alienated almost everyone in his life, but he still has at least one person in his corner!
Mel Gibson is a sinking ship and he’s going down fast. In many people’s eyes, when it comes to being racist, Gibson just about takes the cake. He’s had something to say about Jews, Blacks and Latin Americans – your racist trifecta if you will. Gibson has thrown in some death threats to his former girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva for good measure. Despite it all, Whoopi Goldberg still has his back.
“I don’t like what he did here but I know Mel, and I know he’s not a racist,” Goldberg said on The View. “I have had a long friendship with Mel. You can say he’s being a bonehead, but I can’t sit and say that he’s a racist having spent time with him in my house with my kids.”
Gibson, 54, has remained silent on the latest controversy, which threatens to end his career. He has been dropped by his talent agency and is being investigated by police over allegations of domestic violence against Grigorieva, the mother of his nine-month-old daughter.

just because mel was drunk doesn't mean he didn't say it….he should be the poster child for AA
I won't watch his movies or see his interviews now. He was once a great actor and he held his star power and his responsibilities well. But, it is time for the public to turn their backs on him and let him retire. Mel Gibson is not a good man and he truly dislikes other people, himself and his relatives. Do we need him in our entertainment lives?
