LOS ANGELES, CA – Hollywood actress Kate Winslet is no longer the bridesmaid, after winning not one but five Golden Globes last night!

“Is this really happening?” she asked as she collected her fifth prize.

While Winslet was considered a shoe-in for the Best Supporting Actress award, some were surprised to see her also win the Best Actress award for “Revolutionary Road”.

However, the night continued to produce more surprises, as Winslet went on to win Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series Comedey, Best Original Song and Best Director.

“Why, I don’t even remember being on TV this year! But thank you, Hollywood Foreign Press!” she exclaimed while accepting the award.

The Director award is presumably for being director-husband Sam Mendes’ muse, while one of the “Revolutionary Road” crew members heard her humming a tune on set, and submitted it for Original Song.

Nominees for the upcoming Academy Award Sound Mixing Award are nervously checking the regulations for their category.
