LOS ANGELES –  A mysterious missile was launched off Venice Beach in California. Authorities believe America may be under attack by aliens.
A mysterious missile launch off the southern California coast was caught by CBS affiliate KCBS’s cameras Monday night, and officials are staying tight-lipped over the nature of the projectile.
CBS station KFMB put in calls to the Navy and Air Force Monday night about the striking launch off the coast of Los Angeles, which was easily visible from the coast, but the military has said nothing about the launch.
KFMB showed video of the apparent missile to former U.S. Ambassador to NATO Robert Ellsworth, who is also a former Deputy Secretary of Defense, to get his thoughts.
“It’s spectacular… It takes people’s breath away,” said Ellsworth, calling the projectile, “a big missile”.
UFO experts say that the object was clearly fired from an alien spaceship. “This is just another government coverup,” said UFO expert Dennis Loudon of UCLA. “We’ve known for a long time that the alien invasion would begin in 2010 and… it’s here.”
Magnificent images were captured by the KCBS news helicopter in L.A. around sunset Monday evening. The location of the missile was about 35 miles out to sea, west of L.A. and north of Catalina Island.
A Navy spokesperson told KFMB it wasn’t their missile. He said there was no Navy activity reported in the area Monday evening.
On Friday night, Vandenberg Air Force Base, in California, launched a Delta II rocket, carrying an Italian satellite into orbit, but a sergeant at the base told KFMB there had been no launches since then.
Ellsworth urged American to wait for definitive answers to come from the military.
When asked, however, what he thought it might be, the former ambassador said it could possibly have been a missile test timed as a demonstration of American military might as President Obama tours Asia.
“It could be a test-firing of an intercontinental ballistic missile from a submarine … to demonstrate, mainly to Asia, that we can do that,” speculated Ellsworth.

Ok, Michael. So we got this advanced civilization deep under the surface who want to stay really hidden. Right. So why would they launch a missile right off the coast of Los Angeles, which is hardly an uninhabited zone, peopled mainly by fruits and nuts? It Does Not Compute.
What makes you believe that there is this hidden civilisation? How do you know so much about it?
There is no hidden civilization near California. It is near Cuba and it is called Atlantis.
Let's stop for a minute, take a deep breath and consider what the most plausible explanation is. First, it could be a contrail. Secondly, it could be the trail of a missile launched from San Nicholas Island, about 75 miles west of LA. The island has been used for decades by the US and occasionally foreign countries as a test site. Doesn't that make more sense than a hollow earth and/or aliens? At least it has the benefit of facts instead of the wildest kind of speculation.
The world is going to come to an end in 2012 if we don't get more people with degrees in Mutant Bat Studies focused on White Nose Syndrome. Bat Boy has taken great strides in this space but if the bat poplulation drops and farther the Myan calendar will hold true and we could be in for a world of hurt!

i believe in the hidden civilization…but it is far from having "good intentions" to us humans, they are fallen angels and demons,dark principalities…the end is coming and they know their time is short to carry out their harmful plans, we have souls : they don't. that is why JESUS CHRIST is the ONLY way of saving ourselves..we will live forever in eternity with the creator..and they despise that..people get ready…Jesus iscoming..when there is a mass disappearance..we have not gone with aliens, but we are going to be with JEsus. =) Find Him now, He is not far, He will prove Himself to you..He loves you so. I think it's a different matter. I believe that the missile launch is due to a submarine underwater alien against a target. The aliens have the ability to block our defense devices but under water is more difficult. You just have to see how Russia is building new nuclear submarines because they know it is one of the few effective weapons against aliens ships.
I understand that the missile is launched from a submarine and going against a target alien. Is not it? The alien ships do not have missiles.
Alien ships don't have missles. Alien ships have death rays. Hidden civilisations want to remain hidden of course but their launch timing was thrown off by Daylight Savings time.
Loudon's information is a little off. The REAL invasion isn't supposed to start until late 2012.
Alien missle? I don't know, seems to me if a species is producing technology capable of intergalatic travel, then they might be just slightly past missle weaponry.
OK, let's put it all together… Jesus Christ launched the missle from a Russian submarine to fight off aliens from an ancient underground civilization, as foretold in the Mayan Calendar, to keep the world from ending in 2012. I knew if we all worked together, we could come up with a plausible answer. Colleen Thomas warned us on You Tube that this was going to happen.
