We actually have no idea what Ms Simpson's genes are. Probably 46XY, most people who were born looking mostly male have those. Not all though. The only thing we do know is that all people who go through the immensely painful and tortuous process of surgical and hormonal sex reassignment, as she has, were at birth at least partly the sex they look like at the end. We've never found an exception.
Okay, stitch some silicone under the nipples, cut off the penis and you still cannot change a heterogametic individual. I just think that there has gotta be something wrong with a dude who willingly has their penis cut off. Something even more wrong with a dude that pays someone a LOT of money to cut their penis off! I wish that those that write such idiotic responses need to do some research first ! Do you know what it is like to be born the wrong gender , or the pain and suffering one goes through on a daily basis ? For most ,this is not an elected surgery ,it is a way to live your life to the fullest , instead of living a lie ! Too many die from suicide because they can no longer live that way , or they can't afford the surgery , or last but not least , from the ignorance of those that name call , beat up ,abuse and discrimination ! Everyone has a cross to carry ! Some are drug addicts ,some are alcholics , and some are wife beaters ! Those are self inflicted and there are cures ! The only cure for anyone suffering from gender dysphoria is surgery !
The simpler fact is: whether genetically or chromosomally male or female the U.S. Constitution guarantees liberty to 'the people.' Not males, not females, but people.
Transsexuals, like all other people, may or may not have "some serious mental issues," we all do in some way or another. That being, we still have the right to live, work and pursue our own individual happinesses – as long as they do not harm the general welfare. You live your life and be the best you can be, and I shall live mine. The best kind of democracy is the one where the most number of people get the opportunity to live, work and contribute to the productivity of the country.
Like most Americans, I've worked for more than a few bosses with "serious mental issues" but it still didn't prevent them from doing their job.
The way you people say mental issues , you make it sound like leprasy ! Do you think that transesexuals choose their path ? If I had my way , I wouldn't choose it , it is something that just happens ! For some people ,they never find the true reason , but to try to focus on the reason could put one in a nut house ,and depriving themselves of living a happy life ! Those that don't have a clue as to what they are talking about should go to a library and read , instead of being a self taught physcologist , phsychiatrist , or neurosurgeon ! Most men who are SO outspoken AGAINST transsexuals are themselves "Shemale Lovers" It's like the bully in elementary school who had such low self esteem that they had to pic on the weak. Why do people care so much about what people do, or what lifestyle they choose to live. All you conservative, religious, closet homos should really lighten up. Why are you threatened so much by a person changing their sex. Oh, I know. It's because you are afraid if a man becomes a pretty woman, YOU will be attracted. And that would no doubt make you gay. Grow up!
I think that the problem with this is due to the amount of discrimination and hated directed at this community. Tranvestites don't have a problem with us so why shouldn't we show them the same courtesy. Just my thoughts anyway..
