AUSTRALIA – The Aussie supermodel and Victoria Secret Angel has come to the rescue of one of her biggest fans!
David Kiely, a Macquarie Bank trader, is known around the world as the guy that was caught looking at provocative photos of Kerr on live TV. During an interview about Australia keeping its interest rates on hold, Kiely was spotted in the background with some less than appropriate material on his computer screen. The truth remains, even if he didn’t intend to, that Kiely certainlty livened up a very dull matter.
Regardless, Kiely was caught red handed and was served an immediate suspension from his post. A spokesman for the bank said, “Macquarie has strict policies in place surrounding the use of technology and the issue arising from the live cross Seven News is being dealt with internally.” Kiely became a worldwide sensation and millions sympathized with the poor trader.
One of those sympathizers is none other than the woman he was staring at, Miranda Kerr. “I am told there is a petition to save his job and of course I would sign it,” says Kerr. Thanks to not only her support but of millions Macquarie has decided to retain Kiely. “He will remain an employee of Macquarie. Macquarie and the employee apologize for the offense that he may have caused,” said a banks spokesman. Check out the infamous video below.
