ORLANDO, FL – Tiger Woods has called in a favor to an old friend in hopes of getting back on track!

“It’s been a long year,” Tiger Woods said on Sunday.

Woods could say that playing at the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational was his favorite. The World’s No. 1 had won the tournament 7 previous times, but this past weekend’s tournament will haunt Woods for years. He shot a 77 during his final round and completed four straight rounds over par, capping an 18-over par performance and his worst display as a professional golfer.

It’s debatable what part of Woods life lies in greater ruins – his personal life or his golf life. The fallout from his indiscretions and philandering has taken its toll on the golfer – culminating in divorce from his wife, Elin Nordegren. His golf game has gotten just as ugly – Woods lacks that edge that he was once known for and hasn’t resembled the golfer he used to be.

Woods is in need of some serious help and Weekly World News has discovered that Bat Boy has been called to try and save Woods’ career.

“The reports are true, Tiger Woods’ camp has reached out to Bat Boy,” said Bat Boy’s spokesman. “Bat Boy has always had incredible focus and motivation. When he does something, he does it right or doesn’t bother doing it at all. Bat Boy has always been a fan of the game of golf – as he finds it very relaxing. Woods’ career needs a serious lifeline and Bat Boy has agreed to work with him.”

At this point, any help that Woods can get is going to do wonders for him. America’s favorite mutant should have an incredible impact on Woods. Who knows, returning to dominance on the greens might be the remedy to picking up the pieces of his shattered personal life.
