BRUSSELS – A Belgian teenager is suing a tattoo artist after she allegedly asked for 3 stars on her face, and instead received 56!
Eighteen-year-old Kimberley Vlaminck went to a local parlor called The Tattoo Box, and was given to Romanian tattoo artist Rouslan Toumaniantz. Vlaminck claims that she only asked for three stars to be tattooed on her face. She has stated that he only spoke broken English and French but tried to be clear as possible about what she wanted.
Vlaminck says she then fell asleep during the procedure and awoke to instead find 56 stars across the left side of her face! She is now suing him for $14,000, the cost of the laser surgery she will need to remove the tattoos.
However, Toumaniantz is fighting back, saying that he gave her exactly what she wanted. “She was awake and looked into the mirror several times as the procedure was taking place. The trouble all started when she went home and her father and boyfriend threw a fit.”
Her story does raise a number of questions. Why did she pay and leave the tattoo parlour without complaining? Why was it not a problem until she arrived at home?
And most confusingly, who is capable of falling asleep while a very tender part of their body is being tattooed?

has agreed to pay for half of her laser surgery. While he still stands behind his story, he said, “Kimberley is unhappy and it is not my wish to have an unsatisfied client. There is a way to remove the tattoos with the help of a laser. I accept to pay for half the cost.”
Well, she definitely looks much better than the guy! I guess some people consider it attractive.

if you look closley, the stars on her face are in the shape of a “3″…but there is no way she fell aleep during this.
Tattoos are ‘white trash art’ and anyone who gets it done in the first place should assume all risk. I wouldn’t let anybody who looks like that tattoo ‘artist’ touch any part of my body let alone my face. Let her pay for the whole amount. It’ll teach her a lesson.
She of course is lying. how could she have fallen asleep while having a tattoo gun push on her face? even the noise would keep her up because its so close to her ear. the tattoo artist shouldnt of had to pay anything. its what she wanted. why would someone get 56 stars from 3? that was such a lie. its probably because her dad freaked about it.

I’m a tattoo artist myself and i have fallen asleep during sensitive work being done on me so its not so hard to believe that she could have fallen asleep but my question is if her father singed for her to get it done where was he at while it was being done I would never leave my daughter in the care of any tattoo artist that I didn’t know I know alot of tattoo artist will try to talk you in to doing more work then you want so if that is the case he is still responsible for the work he did and he should pay for the removal
haha oka first of all tattoos hurt like a lot just like everyone has been saying so there is no way in hell she fell asleep… i liked her idea just not that fucking many!!!! hopefully she doesnt fall asleep during laser treatment, so when that goes wrong she cant blame the surgeon… Good Luck!!!

The truth is often stranger than fiction…This artist probably should have turned her down. Most professional artists would not have done this to someone so young.
OK, she claims to fall asleep …. possible only if she was intoxicated or drugged and if that was the case she would be constantly moving while he continued drilling into her face as it would be irritating her ( especially at the tip of her nose )even while she slept.
I think she did it to piss her parents and boyfriend off and then regretted it. The tattooist is so nice to pay half, but seriously there is a technique of bleaching that can make the tattoo fade. He is decent to pay half.
She should just move to Texas!

There is no way that she fell asleep during her tattoo session. She might of been high not knowing what she was doing at the time. When she sobered up, she realized she made a mistake. And even if the tattoo artist only spoke broked english… there’s a big difference between 3 and 56. There is no way she will win this law suit.

I belive the tattoo shop saw the girl as some ditsy rich girl & wanted to teach her a lesson, because they feel that she wanted some little cute tattoo like every other girl that wants to have a little bit of a rebel in her..
I have alot of Tattoo’s & I end up sleeping through all of them. My Tattooist has told me that my hight threshold of pain is part of it but mostly it is my endorphins kicking in & that it is like a euphoria type reaction that makes me doze off to wonderland….

If it was an accident she would have probably sued for more, but instead she only asked for the cost which probably means she wanted it then regretted it afterwards.
Um, why wouldn't she sue for MORE if she was telling the truth. If I went for a chest tattoo, and the artists decided to do my throat or face, I sure as hell wouldn't be suing for just removal. I would be suing for damage, damages, damages.

I think the real question is..if it WAS suppose to be only 3 stars..why isnt she suing for MORE than laser surgery. I sounds to me just like what it said in the article that the trouble didnt start until she got home. She saw it before she left and payed for it. At first I thought – yes, she lied, because her dad was mad, and that only added to her regrets. But the scary-looking tatoo artist is willing to pay half the laser? More torture! Why would she want laser? She is bound to regret that just as much. After my own first look, I now like the 56 stars. Three would have been timid and silly, but 56 is dynamic and bold and fascinating on her pretty face. She should overcome her regret and enjoy her new look. We all know she knew what she was getting, so why the lies and regrets. Each little star deserves a kiss… go with it, girl! After laser, you'll still be miserable and you'll miss those little stars.
