CANARY ISLANDS – A perfect rectangle of criss-crossing lines has been found on the ocean floor 620 miles off the coast of West Africa. Is this the lost city of Atlantis?
Bernie Bamford from Chester, UK found the figure while using Google Ocean to explore the sea. Its existence is even more perplexing as the grid is about 3.5 miles down.
Some believe it is the city of Atlantis, a great island civilization that Plato believed sank around 9,700 BC. Dr Charles Orser, curator of historical archaeology at New York State University and an authority on Atlantis, said, “The site is one of the most prominent places for the proposed location of Atlantis. Even if it turns out to be geographical, it definitely deserves a closer look.”
But Google is doubting this theory. A spokesperson stated, “It’s true that many amazing discoveries have been made in Google Earth. In this case, however, the image is an artifact of the data collection process, not the city of Atlantis. Boats use sonar to take measurements of the seafloor and the lines shown reflect the path of the boat as it gathers the data.”
I still say that Atlantis is in the Caribbean.

show me other undersea areas that have been surveyed and maybe I'll believe that story. It's like the crop circles….humans make mistakes, when no mistakes are made after hundreds of circles, one can only imagine!
Atlantis is probably under two miles of ice on the coast of Antartica, having moved there during the last earth crustal displacment. Plato describes it as being in the navel of the world, surrounded by ocean on all sides, with snow capped mountains in the background. As all the ice continues to melt, maybe it will show itself, if there are any humans around to notice it.
I don't think so. Antarctica is where the Garden of Eden was.
I think Atlantis is real I mean when you look at all the ancient wonders of the world, like the pryamids of South America and Egypt and other archeological wonders, it had to be real, and I think it's in both the Atlantic and the Carribean, I remember hearing that it was bigger then Africa and Asia combined and I think that the Berumda Triangle is apart of Atlantis, and not just the bimini road, but there was also a large structure near the Bimini road, off of Andros Island that some people think is an ancient sea port which I'm thinking is apart of Atlantis.

About the Bermuda Triangle, I think the cause is more like a damaged but still working piece of advanced tech like a wormhole device.
I thought the Bermuda Triangle was created by a piece of Atlantean technolgy.

to all out ther im am firm beliver in truth so here is the truth yes they have found an ancient city but ever know description of adlantis it is round so sorry , the truth is there and the discoverer should get credit for his find but it aint atlantis its allways been round and i found it yesterday on google earth yes and its way bigger then this little town i found a big city walls and all still vissible and well i have jsut found it i will be realeaseing my footage i am calling it ( the real lost round city of atlantis has finaly been found sorry for typos no spell check
