The White House has begun arresting photoshoppers who tampered with the President’s gun picture.
President Obama released this picture on Friday.
It had this official disclaimer attached:
This official White House photograph is being made available only for publication by news organizations and/or for personal use printing by the subject(s) of the photograph. The photograph may not be manipulated in any way and may not be used in commercial or political materials, advertisements, emails, products, promotions that in any way suggests approval or endorsement of the President, the First Family, or the White House.
But many people ignored the threat from the White House and now they have begun arresting any person who manipulated the photo.
White House Press Secretary, Jay Carney, reportedly said, “The President will not tolerate his image being manipulated in any way. Â Any photoshopper who ignored our warning will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.”

The White House told WWN that the penalty will be fines of up to $250,000 and a minimum of six months in jail.
“The image of President Barack Obama is sacred,” reportedly added Jay Carney.
