Asian women share tips on how to catch a man and keep him happy.
For generations Asian women learned how to treat a man by following rules laid down by Thai philosopher Sunthron Phu in his book Maxims for Teaching Women. Now they’ve taken his words of wisdom that have been passsed down fro more than 2,000 years and updated them to deal with men in 2012.
Here are the winning recommendations for Western women who want to trade be successful in love and marriage:
1) YOUR MAN IS KING - Remember that your man/husband comes first – before you, your parents, your outside interests or even your children.
2) RISE EARLY. Get up in the morning before your man does. Make sure you prepare a healthy breakfast so he gets a good start on the day. Even if you have to leave before him, make sure he has a nice breakfast waiting for him when he comes into the kitchen in the morning.
3) NEVER NAG. Never, ever. If he wants to stop off after work and have a few drinks with his buddies, that’s his business. If he forgot to take out the garbage – do it yourself.
4) BE AT HOME. Make sure you’re always at home when he gets in from a hard day at the office. Even if you are working, make sure you get home to your man/husband as soon as possible.

"Nice" conversation here. LOL! I don't think all Asian women like that. Well, i am not. There's a lot of artists in my country that are mix blood and sometimes they looks better than the pure American women. The tips on how to take care of your husbands should be applied to everyone and not just Asian. Who doesn't want to be loved, respect and treated well? I think 100% guys would want that. Nobody wants a wife that doesn't know how to treat husbands better. Don't blame anyone but improve yourself, that would be better. Another thing about English is not just Asian that doesn't speaks proper English but other countries as well, the difference is the individual that wants to learn English or not. Maybe you can try to use the tips above and your man will treat you better (Well, i think everyone can use those tips..not just Asian).

I think men like Asian woman because they are exotic…. they looked different, they act different… and some men just find something romantic about that… Just like how many Asian men finds foreigner woman exotic, romantic and interesting… There is no secret in love… you just find the right person… no matter how that person looks like… sometime love last… sometime it doesn't…. you just needed to move on and find your match…. or something better to do …

Personally, I don't get the blame game. I'm Native American the real deal, & my people blame Caucasian women for taking our men, African American women blame Caucasian women for taking their men, Spanish women blame everyone for taking their men, etc. You can't help who you fall in love with. I Agree with this article, but most of things in house decide by the wife such as :
- wall color
- type of furniture
-bed sheet's color
-All things in the kitchen belongs to the wife
-type of mattress
-handling budget
-children education
And so many more things are decide by the women. I agree that women and men are equal but in Asia they don't do same role as western done(sometimes both are drunken at the bar). Men should be leader of the family, women are boss of the house.

This is just a fantasy. I can tell you from my experience, a) South Korea has one of the highest divorce rates in the world, b) South Korean women are flocking to foreign men who will treat them better than this (much to the horror of Korean men, as a recent, racist news feature on MBC shows). The behaviour you’re describing in the article is not ‘the secret Asian woman’s guide to keeping a man’. It’s the ‘women living in a male-dominated society where they have no power’ rubbish that we have moved on from in Western society and Asian women are starting to move on from in their own societies. Don’t think you can move to Asia and find an obedient wife. Asian women are largely interested in foreign men for the promise of equality.
What an old fashioned & truly traditional Asian culture…That's only applied for those women who has no ability to earn a single penny and always depend on men no matter on financially or mentally. I think it doesn't work now days. As now days women are getting more and more independent and strong.
As a wife, no doubt that we should take care of our husband & family but that doesn't mean that we need to be an obedient woman who behave like a maid or house worker. Definitely we'll cook for husband, but the husband will cook for wife as well…Both working together to keep the relationship works! And the most important things are respect & understanding.

No, Sunthorn Phu was born in 1786. 2,000 years ago, the kingdom hasn’t yet existed. Do not argue. I am Thai. I’ve learned all his works and life story because we all have to. And he sucks. He is, honestly, a terrible writer. A good poet but a suck-ass writer. Only one work is decent (Love Triangle; the lead guy character was sort of an urban lgend.) and that is because it’s a non-fiction of what really had happened during 1424-1448. He didn’t write it. He just published it.
He’s an irresponsible bum who had been in and out of jail constantly. He was pretty abusive to his wife to the point she divorced him. (At first, they eloped cuz her parents didn’t like him.) They had one son. He can’t even get his shit together. Until, he decided to become a priest to find peace after getting so much resentment from noblemen at the time.

Those points may be valid in Japan or Korea, but not in China / Hong Kong or Taiwan. In China Mainland region, due to one child policy, males population have been greater than females for decades. Thus, males supplies surpass demands & therefore females are the choosers.
The only thing that is keeping females in check is that males are still earning more on the same job level.
And females below 30s don't know how to cook at all!

well for us Filipina.. yeah we do it on our husband but it depends if we want it or no… its depends on the wife but its not really necessarily.
