Asian women share tips on how to catch a man and keep him happy.
For generations Asian women learned how to treat a man by following rules laid down by Thai philosopher Sunthron Phu in his book Maxims for Teaching Women. Now they’ve taken his words of wisdom that have been passsed down fro more than 2,000 years and updated them to deal with men in 2012.
Here are the winning recommendations for Western women who want to trade be successful in love and marriage:
1) YOUR MAN IS KING – Remember that your man/husband comes first – before you, your parents, your outside interests or even your children.
2) RISE EARLY. Get up in the morning before your man does. Make sure you prepare a healthy breakfast so he gets a good start on the day. Even if you have to leave before him, make sure he has a nice breakfast waiting for him when he comes into the kitchen in the morning.
3) NEVER NAG. Never, ever. If he wants to stop off after work and have a few drinks with his buddies, that’s his business. If he forgot to take out the garbage – do it yourself.
4) BE AT HOME. Make sure you’re always at home when he gets in from a hard day at the office. Even if you are working, make sure you get home to your man/husband as soon as possible.
American women would never follow these rules. Im not even sure I could cope with such subserviant women.

This is in no way fair treatment to women. Though I’ve experienced alot of such families first hand, I disapprove it. It is so obsolete! 2,000 years ago, it might have been ideal but it would be oppression of the fairer sex in today’s society. My mother is an asian woman exactly like this . She never try to be higher than my father even she has a higher knowledge and be the initial worker at home . She is so ashamed and never say about anything concern between her and her husband . An other thing that i very admire her is a painstaking person . Personally, I just enjoyed reading some of these conversations. There are several points that make the debate fun, but really, I think it's all about human nature. Both women and men need to submit sometimes, and respect each other's problems. Kind of like saying men get the money, but the women get the children. Neither of these jobs are easy, and although they're starting to change that tradition, it still exists. Both have jobs they must do, and sometimes it's all about the situation.
Women need to stop being 'stupid' feminists, (meaning that you should stop being outrageous feminists, and instead be reasonable feminists) and men need to stop acting like they're from the ancient civilizations. Men aren't KING anymore, and women aren't QUEEN anymore. Both are equal, but men need to lead women but treat them right, and women need to follow and help the men. (That's a biblical term)
If both would show some respect, race has no connection to this matter. It's about showing respect between both genders, not about being Asian or American. Human are the same inside, but different outside. It's unnecessary to insult people through race, since you're missing a chance of getting a very very good worker. (These days good universities accept Asians with open arms.. why? Because of the own unique ways of their doings.. good grades(perfect), logical ways of thinking, etc. Every race has its own special ability, and when not being able to recognize it… you lose a good worker. )
Though debates are healthy for the human mind, when it becomes a fuss between two children, it's no longer a debate, it's a fight with words instead of fists. There's one big difference between a debate/argument and a fight. A fight wants a winner, and chases away the loser. However, when debating, you're trying to CONVINCE your partner, not chase them away because you're the winner. We need to understand points of views in different ways, and act like adults. Using words that are inappropriate will not help you to convince the other, and mocking the person who used inappropriate words will not help convincing either. Keeping your cool is another matter, but being able to convince someone is truly hard.
These are common facts, but I wonder why no one bases their opinions on these facts. They're simple, and right, but not many follow it. Probably because they have so much pride that it's clouding their minds. Sorry for being dramatic, but it's a good way to put it. 😛

My wife is Asian. She's a minister and I know she's not after my money cuz 1. She knows exactly how much I have… which isn't much and 2. She complains if we spend too much money on groceries every week. I have been after her to go buy some new clothes, but she won't go shopping. My wife is a tightwad when it comes to money. My wife was a virgin when we got married, so she was no whore. My wife is certainly not built like a 10y/o boy. She is VERY curvy and probably has a better bod than you, Ms. Stone. In fact, in my case, I consider myself to be the unattractive one. My wife is very petite, where I am a large framed man. Upon my mother's arrival to America, she was, as you say, stick skinny, but that would be from malnutrition living in her native country. After living here for a few decades, she's gained some weight and sports some meat around her bones. "Nice" conversation here. LOL! I don't think all Asian women like that. Well, i am not. There's a lot of artists in my country that are mix blood and sometimes they looks better than the pure American women. The tips on how to take care of your husbands should be applied to everyone and not just Asian. Who doesn't want to be loved, respect and treated well? I think 100% guys would want that. I can tell you from my experience, a) South Korea has one of the highest divorce rates in the world, b) South Korean women are flocking to foreign men who will treat them better than this (much to the horror of Korean men, as a recent, racist news feature on MBC shows). i'm a SE Asian, but not Thai, Vietnam, or Myanmar. I can say that from my almost 3 decades life in my country, i've met lots of westerner. Of all them, i can see that most of westerner who came here have a specific judgement about what good looking women is. Many times in the past i've been wondering, how can many westerner (not all) pick out whats many locals considered as ugly here. But then i've seen them all and those girls and womens actually have one in common, they're ugly but have a smoking hot body. So, i guess no wonder if your one decade in those three countries are spent with whores, since you might also be one of those who are easy to lure with big boobs.

You guys have to keep in mind that these rules were written long ago an then poorly translated. Let me offer a better translation for both genders:
1) Your Spouse comes first:
Never take the side of someone else against your spouse (on the big matters). Spouses are supposed to always be able to turn to the other for help or support, no matter what.
2) Commit to your responsibilities: Always make sure to provide for your spouse. Use your talents to support your spouse and don't let personal preferences or desires interfere with that. (i.e. If your talent or responsibility is to cook for your spouse, get up early to make them breakfast, even if you have to work. If your talent is repairing the house, then fix that leaky roof now, not when your show is over.)
3) Don't Pry: Non of that clingy teenager business! Everybody needs their space. If your man wants to hang with the guys and have a beer occasionally, let him. If your woman wishes to have a girl's night out occasionally, let her. Then be sure to ask if they had fun, when they get back. You can be involved in their away-from-home life without actually being there. (Also, if they don't wish to talk about it, that normally just means that they had a bad day, don't insist, lest you start an argument.)
4) Home is only "home", when everyone is there: Fun and responsibilities are important (in fact, it is unhealthy to live without either), but always make sure to make time to spend at home with each other. No plans are necessary. It is important to have unscheduled time to talk about the bad and enjoy the good together. Without this important element a relationship will always become more distant and it can lead to either person (or both) questioning the relationship and the purpose of it.

This is all just wrong…. This is basically saying "a woman should not have a life of her own. She has no right to it unless her partner decides to grant that permission, so don't expect anything or to be happy yourself, just shut up and do as you're told."
Relationships are hard. Very hard.
You have to work on them a lot for them to come good at all, and it's true that you often don't see a guy's true colours until a while of being with him, but that's why a woman has to stay on top of her feet. If you see something that could become a problem, even if it sounds like you're winging, bring it up straight away. If you leave it to go stale, it will only get worse and perhaps become unrepairable.
No guy is perfect, so why should a woman treat a man like that when it gives him the opportunity to do so much wrong. If you do everything that's mentioned above, he's going to end up thinking he is God and will treat you poorly. If you don'y act like someone who should be treated with equality, then you're never, EVER going to get it. I've learnt only recently that men are fickle and they are all clueless to the thoughts us women have, so we need to let them know and help them understand. All men are like this. If I had listened to what's above in my current relationship, it would have ended very quickly. He wouldn't know what he does hurts me and maybe wouldn't care. The rest he was unfaithful to, and that in itself for him has become what he calls one of the biggest redeeming factors about his whole life. He feels that he can change now and he is very happy, very proud of himself for how he is and how he's behaved.
But had I done what this article says, it never would have worked out. As it is, although neither of us are perfect, I love him so much and it's only possible because of all the effort we both put in. All those arguments and talks and fights and the like paid off. Now we are on the right path, we're seeing each other eye to eye and we have the beginnings of a stable and strong, long lasting relationship.
One last thing. I don't have any, but if I ever had children, they would always come before my partner and I'm sure he would be infuriated with me to no end if I did put him before them. If you don't care for them more than anyone else, who else will? How will they early on in life feel cared for and know how to make the right decisions? How will they feel worth anything? And it's not by duty. It's something that you'd do because you love and want the best for them. What's better if it's some kind of happiness that you and your partner have created together? A sign of that. Your children become the symbol of the love you share together and they carry with them you and your partners love for the rest of their lives.

WAIT A MINUTE…..I'm a Thai and I've read that book of Sunthorn Phu in high school before and WHAT IS WRITTEN HERE IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT from what the book is actually about.
Please note that the book is really really old so it merely suggests on how proper Thai women should behave AT THE TIME IT WAS WRITTEN, not now though much of it still applies today.
For example, it says that a woman should know what kind of clothes suits her in terms of skin color, height, body shape or whatever because if she just wears whatever is in trend, she might end up looking worse. (this is always true anyway)
Another thing it mentions is how a good wife should be like which will sound a bit weird and unfair even to me. This is because in Siamese (Thai) society at the time, women were not quite equal to men. An example from the book is that a wife's role includes being a personal cook, nurse or even something like a maid(in case you're not rich enough to have servants). The only thing I see here which is the same as the book is rising early.
Well, the book was actually written for a princess anyway so some of it didn't apply to commoners at the time. But hey, I myself find some of it still applicable even in modern Thai society, I think some of it might even work in western culture. And let me say it again, the actual book doesn't sound anywhere near what is written here.
If anyone wants to know more, it's better to go read an ACCURATE translation of the book.

that book said about how women do to be a good women (in men eyes) but it very old (about 200 years old) some of them can be use now and some are no use.

But the main point in change is before when the book wrote is at that time men work (in the field or ect.) and women just stay home and do chore.Men bring money in and women use it. Then it not strange that women should do as men is a benefactor and try to make him happy.

Maybe I just got awfull damn lucky! I am a 56 year old American (Caucasion) man and I have been married to my Chinese wife for three years and I have never been so happy or felt so loved. She is an amazing cook, attends college full time but manages to take care of all the household duties and spoil the hell out of me. All of my friends and their wifes adore her as well. And believe me after suffering with several spoiled, selfish, arrogant American women over the years I completely appreciate my Chinese wife and I always look for ways to spoil her too. I know some Asian women do not measure up to my wife but I still think most Asian women are better than most American women. And, as with everything else done by anybody, it's always done best when one is not under stress or pressure. If that pressure is there the man is not relaxed and having an orgasm becomes something to get done…not to savour and enjoy – as it should be. My ex took this global thing as being a good thing…i don't necessarily agree….I was on the receiving end of a LOT of pressure and stress because she couldn't understand the importance to me; my generation of English person, that raggaeton style "dancing" is not an acceptable thing to do in public (she is latin). And it didn't matter if the moves were done with or without a partner, they were too heavily sexual to be done in public….some taken straight from S&M porn for crying out loud!…And that it's NOT dancing lol.
