FARGO, ND – A North Dakota woman believes she has the world’s tallest dog!

Caryn Weber lives on a farm in eastern North Dakota. She owns a three-year-old Landseer Newfoundland called Boomer, who may soon be taking a world record.

Boomer is 3 feet tall from the shoulders down, and 7 feet measured from nose to tail! He drinks from the kitchen sink with all four paws on the floor.

Weber said the 180 pound dog gets through a 20 pound bag of dog food in just two weeks!

She hopes Guinness World Records representatives will come out to independently measure him. The previous record holder, a Great Dane that measured nearly 4ft tall, passed away last summer of bone cancer.
