BILL O’REILLY LEAVING FOX NEWS

billorelly_foxX

Bill O’Reilly shocked the cable news world today by announcing he is leaving Fox News and heading to CNN.

Bill O’Reilly is done with the No Spin Zone.  CNN has made him the largest offer in the history of cable news.  ”Bill O’Reilly will be a part owner of our network.  And O’Reilly plans on making CNN the number one network in all of cable,” said a source close to CNN.

The controversial host and bestselling author will air his last show on Fox on May 31st.

“When I took this job I didn’t take it because it was going to be the last job I ever had,” O’Reilly reportedly said.

Sources close to Fox say that O’Reilly has been having heated arguments with Roger Ailes, the brains of Fox News, over the last few months.   “Roger wants to take Fox News in a new, more moderate direction and Bill wants it to remain traditional.  They almost came to blows last week,” a cameraman for the network told WWN.

Glenn Beck asked O’Reilly to join him in purchasing Current TV from Al Gore, but when that fell through, Bill looked at other options.  ”CNN opened its valut for Bill.  He will have even more power at CNN.”

O’Reilly will reportedly continue writing novels about dead presidents and will get to take off as many days a  year as he wants.  ”He has total freedom now.”

Megyn Kelly will be taking over the 8pm slot on Fox News.   “Bill has known for a long time that Megyn was going to take his spot.  He’s always in control, so he quit before they fired him.  Bill always wins,” a friend of O’Reilly told WWN.

Dennis Miller and Geraldo Rivera will be joining Bill O’Reilly at CNN.  ”It was a package deal,” said a CNN source.

Bill don't leave Fox. I watch Fox every night. The Five, Bret Bair, Shep Smith, Bill O'Reilly, Hannity and then Greta.
    I am hooked on Fox

  2. carolyn gettler says:

Bill, will watch you wherever you go. Watch Fox and CNN. My friends did not believe me when I told them of your move. I have a $20.00 bet, and wanted to go higher. No one believed me. Good luck and the spin goes with you wherever you go!

  3. Oledad48 says:

Well, I watched Bill on Fox News last night, February 23, 2013, so the "fact" that Bill "will air his last show on Fox on Thursday, January 31st" is untrue. There has been no mention of his leaving.

If he could move CNN to the right, that would be a good thing, and Fox News has a lot more going for it than Bill. He is strongly opinionated, but he is certainly no Right Wing hack. His kindness toward president Obama personally makes many of his conservative listeners uneasy, but he is (finally) beginning to see the tangible destruction coming from Obama's policies, and he reports on those failures honestly. The Left hates anyone criticizing their "lord and savior Barack Hussein Obama" (Jamie Foxx) so Bill gets his share of Leftist smear on that score.

I think this story is as valid as the Bat Boy story. Facebook to end in May 2013? Alien spaceships to attack earth in March 2013?

    Yeah.

  4. Dean says:

No never leave Fox leave fox news. does that mean that the d-Man follows?

  5. Marie says:

Bill, I'm so disappointed. I can't believe you would do this. You know the liberals would do anything to destroy Fox News and this would be just the tip of the iceberg to topple the proverbial mountain. From reading your books, I don't believe you would be happy at CNN. What if after you got there and have closed the door at FOX you find it was just a ploy to discredit both you and Fox. P-l-e-a-s-e reconsider this move.

  6. Caroly says:

I too watch the series of Fox news shows The Five, Bret Bair, Shep Smith, Bill O'Reilly, Hannity and then Greta. However it is not always in that order. I have fast forward with 2 hours of rewind if I turn on my set early enough. If I had to watch live TV, I probably wouldn't watch much TV. For that reason, I would not change my channel to watch CNN just to watch Bill O'Reilly or any other single host if he moved away from Fox News, I would lose all of my rewind time when changing back to Fox and would have to watch CNN live too. No WAY.

  7. Larry Self says:

I love Bill and will miss him, but Geraldo will be no great loss. Will Bill be able to continue being "fair and balanced"? I don't think I can bring myself to watch CNN.

  8. larry fromvi says:

says we will follow u where ever u go

  9. David Flodquist says:

Bill, are you being "bought off". Political views changing ?? I know NBC has a new CEO. Does this mean CNN will be "changing" their views to a "little more right" view point than in the past, or will you, Bill O'Reilly" , be changing your political wiews to a "little more left" view point to satisfy CNN's political view point.

  10. David says:

Democrats do not want Bill O'Reilly ANYWHERE. The "powers that be", MONEY…..looks like it will tell where Bill O'Reilly works.

  11. davidpun says:

This has encouraged me to write a book about what money does to peoples principles.

  12. Martha Stearn says:

Cnn people are fools for money. He wants to come over ad turn CNN into some right wing bullshit station, Our country is screwed up enough with the hate spreading. Tha's what's wrong with our country and goverment. We will never see peace and work done as long as they keep such degativeness badblood among our people. Nobody is walking like jesus anymore. Th world is becoming doomed. OReilly is nothing to do with being a good christian or a good catholic. He's more decieving than any trader of our county. CNN you aresoory if you put him on you channel and I'm done with you.

    • rkimedes says:

Sounds to me like the hate has really gotten to you, pots and kettles tra la tra la

    • tom sullivan says:

      Martha,
When you become intelligent enought to spell, write, and use proper word selection, then perhaps you can graduate from the ignorant masses that watch CNN and understand what "fair and balanced" really means. You cannot give us one concrete example of Bill O'Reilly spreading hate… not one. We can all cite examples of Bill's intolerance for guests who grandstand or hide behind insincere talking points, and he rightfully get's in their faces when they do so. This intolerance of liars' "spin" is what makes Bill's "No Spin Zone" the #1 cable news program in the country. If you can't handle the truth, stick with CNN, or better, MSNBC.

    • chatrlie says:

You talk about hate Martha, you seem to be the one spreading it, you must be a liberal, that is all you people do is spread hate.

  13. carol johnston lindley says:

You are our hero. If you leave FOX…I will follow where ever you go.

You tell the truth….and I am so proud to be a member for all these years.

God Bless you in any venture you make.

  14. guest says:

GOOD RIDDANCE, heres one person that wont br watching CNN Fox will be a better place without him.
CNN will get their fill of him. I wont br buying his books.

  15. harold ash says:

i sure as hell won't watch him. he is a very opinionated arrogant host. his constant interruptions of guests to spout his opinions gets very boring.

  16. Cindy says:

Big time FOX loss. CNN gain, they need someone that resembles a real reporter!

  17. Cindy says:

    If it is true

  18. Tilar says:

LOL, I cant imagine anyone with more than 3 brain cells working for CNN. (Clinton News Network)

  19. linda says:

Always liked Bill….feel he tries to give both sides of the story ..love him in Jacksonville. Fla….when are him and dennis doing a show here????????

  20. Elyse Battistella says:

I just can't believe this story. .I is it really true? IS IT A FACT! Going to CNN ? I have watched him for years but I will watch him at CNN and then judge him! I admit there are times when I get so upset at him due to his interrupting t.he guest s.At that point I ask myself ..How can this brilliant man communicate with a wife (or any other person)?
I am a Catholic and am charitable!!

Note :Could you please not publish my name

  21. Ron says:

O'Reilly is a moderate. He is always defending Obama and giving him the benefit of the doubt. Anyone who thinks he is right wing hasn't seen Hannity.

  22. Elyse Battistella says:

Bill..I really like you ..but I worry about you when you get so wound up about proving a fact, that you might have a heart attack..then who would be left to prove the fact ? Take care of yourself. Thank you.

  23. James says:

It was really helpful that you are sharing this details to your readers, I do personally having a worth while in the article. Thanks for sharing such good release.
