PONTE VEDRA BEACH, FL – Tiger Woods announced that he is getting married again. His new bride? Rachel Uchitel.
Tiger Woods is going to marry one of the women he had an affair with – Rachel Uchitel. The wedding is set to take place on New Year’s Eve of this year.
This news happened just hours after Rachel announced that she was returning all her settlement money to Tiger.
The agreement was put together by powerful celebrity lawyer, Gloria Allred. The agreement stated that if Rachel violated the confidentiality clause, she would not only have to return the money she received but Tiger could sue her for damages as well.
She has returned the money to Tiger – minus Allred’s attorny fees – and a spokesman for Tiger Woods said the golfer will NOT be suing Uchitel. “He’s going to marry her, not sue her,” said Tiger’s longtime friend, Charlie Sheen.
Tiger’s lawyer, Jay Lavely, contacted Gloria Allred and said that he and Rachel would be suing Ms. Alred for “manipulating” Rachel.
Rachel believes Gloria sold her out, allegedly strong-arming Tiger’s lawyer without Rachel’s consent.
Rachel’s new lawyer, Paul D’Alessandro, has filed a legal malpractice lawsuit against Alred.
WWN contacted Gloria, who said, “Our law firm no longer represents Ms. Uchitel and we have no comment on this story at this time. However, we are confident that we have always acted appropriately and in her best interests.”
Meanwhile, the wedding plans are moving forward, and in an odd twist, Tiger’s ex, Elin Nordegren, will be one of Rachel’s bridesmaids.
