PALM SPRINGS, CA – One actor’s life was seriously threatened as he was caught in a precarious situation!
What seemed like a normal night for actor Jeremy London, turned out to be a nightmare. According to London, he was abducted, held at gunpoint and forced to smoke drugs as he was terrorized for nearly five hours at gun point last week.
“He told officers (during the kidnapping) that he was forced to smoke dope and then purchase booze and hand it out in a gang area of Palm Springs,” a policeman told Radaronline.com.
The “Party of Five” star said he was trying to change a tire when two men stopped to help him and instead threw him into his car, drove him around and terrorized him at gunpoint. London was able to escape around 3 a.m. Thursday, five hours after his kidnapping. His car was later found and two men were charged with kidnapping Wednesday.
“Jeremy said it was a terrorizing experience,” a source told Radar. “He spent hours thinking he was going to die and he did what he had to do not to end up shot or dead.”
London admitted to People in April that he suffered from drug addiction. He is also in the midst of a divorce with actress Melissa Cunningham, whom he’d married in 2006.
“There were times I didn’t care if I died,” he said, telling the magazine he was ingesting up to 16 pills a day. “I felt like I was losing everything.
