CONAN O'BRIEN SIGNS WITH TBS

LOS ANGELES, CA – After months of speculation, a popular TV personality has finally found a home!
Ever since his Tonight Show fallout, rumors have been rampant about where Conan O’Brien’s late-night talents would be housed next. Speculation made everyone believe that Fox was clearly going to be O’brien’s new home. Well speculation was wrong and O’Brien shocked many by making the move to basic cable, where his new late-night talk show will premier in November on TBS.
“The good new: I will be doing a show on TBS starting in November!” O’Brien tweeted Monday morning. “The bad news: I’ll be playing Rudy on the all new Cosby Show.”
“In three months I’ve gone from network television to Twitter to performing live theaters, and now I’m headed to basic cable,” he said in a more proper statement. “My plan is working perfectly.”
TBS has gone ahead and doubled it’s late night potential, with George Lopez already having a show on the cable net. According to TBS, Obrien’s show will air four nights a week, Mondays through Thursdays, at 11 p.m.  Lopez’s Lopez Tonight late-night antics will get pushed back to midnight to accommodate CoCo’s new venture.
The deal was closed when Lopez called O’Brien to ask him to come aboard.
“I can’t think of anything better than doing my show with Conan as my lead-in. It’s the beginning of a new era in late-night comedy,” Lopez said in a statement released by TBS.
