RACHEL MADDOW, BILL CLINTON FEUD

NEW YORK, NY – Bill Clinton is getting some sharp words from an unexpected source.
Rachel Maddow falls in line with Glenn Beck and Bill O’Reilly – they share their opinion on anything and everything … even if you didn’t ask for it. They have become so empowered by their talk shows that they feel it gives them the right to make outlandish claims or be the moral compass on any issue. Maddow has feuded with her share of people, but she has recently started a new one with an individual who held a very important office.
In a recent segment on her show, Maddow compared the Barack Obama administration to Clinton’s. She noted that President Obama had been moving to the right on health care and she expressed how his presidency began looking like that of Clinton’s.
Maddow said, “What we ended up with is what we ended up with, in my opinion, is the two terms of the Clinton administration, which is that Bill Clinton was probably the best Republican president the country ever had, if you look at the policies that he passed.”
Oh no you didn’t! Good old Bill is not amused or pleased by your comments. So much so, that in responding to you, he doesn’t feel you deserve to be mentioned by name.
While speaking alongside Tony Blair at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, Clinton took exception with the comments Maddow made on her program in March.
“One of the leading commentators on one of our liberal cable channels said i was the best Republican president the country ever produced, which would come as quite a surprise to the Republicans, half of whom still think I’m a closet communist,” he said.
“What she meant by that was I didn’t necessarily follow their ‘conventional wisdom,” he added. “I said, ‘What do you mean?!'”
Take that Maddow. How does it taster?! Wild Bill takes nothing from no one. Perhaps she should focus her attention on more meaningful things – when we decide what that is, we’ll let her know. Thoughts?

  1. from the article:
"In a recent segment on her show, Maddow compared the Barack Obama administration to Clinton’s."
Recent? Rachel Maddow made those comments in March 2010. It took me 30 seconds to find that out via google. How could a REAL journalist not do the same? This is the transcript from the show.

"Perhaps she should focus her attention on more meaningful things . . . "
Perhaps, Mr. Hawley, you should do the same.
This is yet another example of the press trying to create the news instead of reporting it.
They want a controversy so badly, they'll jump on anything. To say what Maddow does is the same as O'Reilly and Beck is laughable. The author is being disingenuous or is not familiar with Maddow's program. This frequent false equivalency be the media is what allows the hate mongers like Beck, Hannity, etc to continued to divide us. They're all the same on both sides right? BS
Rachel Moddow, is always courteous and respectful of her guest. She's knowledgeable about the topics that she covers. Maddow's show attempts to inform. Whereas the Becks, O'Reillys and Hannity attempt to demonize and electioneer. She readily admits she is liberal commentator. But, no one can claim she is unfair. No one can claim that she does not have her facts right. And she has offered retractions or corrections to information that she state incorrectly. Those are few and far between. Can you same the same of Beck O'Reilly, Hannity and the like?
These people are not the same on both sides. Hate mongering and peddling lies needs to be called out, not essentially ignored by say "it's the same on both sides" That does nothing but hurt the discourse and our country.

    • I totally agree with you. I know that Rachel is very educated while Beck has no education and is just a blow hard who like to hear himself as well as Hannity. Too bad they are making such big bucks to make all their false claims.

  2. Ah, I think Rachel didn't mean to be insulting when she made that statement. I thought it rather funny to think a Democratic president would be a better Republican in policy than a Republican president. The man got things done. I hope this rift is cleared up soon. I like both Rachel and Bill.

  3. Rachel Maddow is a waste of human flesh. Her name calling and cackling make hera liberal joke. I wish that she would join the military so that she could be a pioneer for the don't ask, don't tell argument. She is a homosexual who could be the first openly queer in the military
