HOLLYWOOD – Warner Brothers announced that Ben Affleck has signed on to direct and star in his next feature, a biopic titled “SPIELBERG.”
Patrick Whitesell of WME confirmed the much-buzzed about rumor via email, “After wrapping up an exciting awards season with ‘Argo,’ Mr. Affleck is looking forward to a late spring start for principal photography for ‘Spielberg.’
Ben has long admired America’s most-famed director and is anticipating an exciting exploration of Steven’s career and private life. In more important news, and much to his family’s chagrin, Ben will keep the beard for a few more months.”
Amanda Seyfried is said to be in final negotiations to play Kate Capshaw.
