[mpoverlay]ORLANDO, FL – Sources close to Casey Anthony’s attorney confirmed today that Casey has adopted a baby girl from Romania.
Reporters from Orange County confirmed that Casey Anthony applied to adopt a baby girl (2 years old) from Eastern Europe in early 2010. Sources say she was accepted by the Romanian government – pending the conclusion of her trial.
It is expensive to adopt a baby from Romania. Some say legal costs run in excess of $25,000 to adopt, but Casey has reportedly offered the Romanians three times that amount.
Casey has plenty of money rolling in now with book deals, movie deals and a porn video that she is slated to shoot in early August. She is already worth over $8 million dollars because of her book deal. READ about it here.
Sources close to friends of Casey say she offered the Romanian adoption agency $75,000 for the baby.
Casey will reportedly fly to Bucharest on July 25th to pick up the baby. Her adoption attorney will not say where Casey and the baby will live, but many are speculating that she will return to the U.S. and live with her aunt in Texas.
Romanians are appalled about the adoption and are trying to stop it from going forward. “We do not want one of our babies being adopted by that monster,” said Flaviu Trasicu. “We have standards here that citizens of the United States do not. As a society, we cherish our children and punish child abusers.”
Casey Anthony reportedly wants to prove to the world that she is a good mother. Sources say she told corrections officers in the Orange County Jail last summer that she plans on adopting 3-4 babies and having 3-4 of her own. “She thinks she can handle a lot of kids,” said Tommy Kimplin of the Orange County Jail. “She feels like she’s changed.”
Casey has not chosen a name for the baby girl she is going to adopt, “but it’s not going to begin with a ‘C’, that’s for sure.”

We adopted a baby from Korea, and the process was very intense! they had to do a home inspection,even check our furnace, they did a background check (and my dad was a state cop and mom is a probation officer) yet they still had to do it…i dont think she would be approved to take care of an exotic plant let alone a child!

Being as Romania does not allow intercontinental adoptions- this is most likely a fake story. You can only adopt out of Romania if you are the child's biological grandparent. Plus I don't believe the govt would want it to appear as though you can "buy" a baby from there. Just my thoughts 🙂

Well I read a statement about no one knowing whether or not Casey killed her child, even if that was true and in my opinion I believe she is guilty. As a so called mother you could go 30+ days and not report your child missing? That alone doesn't display good parenting skills. I feel the justice system is disfunctional, and being the failed system gave her an opportunity to start her life over it should NOT involve innocent children.
As a mother of four children at the age of 28, I know all about the pressures of having children and the stress you go through most days. However GOD gave me my children for a reason. I don't like this turn of events anymore than anyone else does, but the fact of the matter is she was acquitted of the charges against her. I honestly do not understand how it is legal for someone who was just on trial for the murder of her child…whether proven guilty or not, could adopt a baby??! Casey Anthony has no chance in ever adopting internationally or domestically due to her legal standings. Adoption is a very difficult and lengthy process. Those with prior murder convicitons (even if not charged) would not ever stand half a chance at ever entering an adoption agreement.
What legal standings? She wasn't convicted of anything and I would not be surprised. After all, she did get away with murder. What so hard to believe that a sick women who would murder her own daughter wouldn't make an attempt to adopt a baby for further publicity and media time which she clearly enjoys.
If she was found guilty her lawyers would have just claimed prejudice and appealed it saying the media was too involved. She was found not guilty because the judge knew it would only be a matter of time before she did something else and ended up in jail anyway. This case got way too much media hype but give it time she will screw up again.

My theory is if it was an "accident" then you wouldn't have anything to hide. I understand there was no evidence of murder but in either case no one would just dispose of their child in a bag in the swamp especially if it was an accident. That child deserved a proper burial not to be decomposing in a trunk or swamp. I am not saying she is guilty of the murder but a bad parent for the decisions made after her death. If she was a good mother she would have done everything right by her child. Second – Casey Anthony did not murder Caylee. Back during trial, I was one of the first to say she is evil and guilty. But since, some things have come to light for me. Read both the prosecutions and the defense books. You will find an insurmountable amount if information that the public was NOT made aware of. It's quite staggering. There is no way, beyond a reasonable doubt that I could have sat on that jury and found her guilty. The 84 chloroform searches were a lie. When they found the body was also very shady. The man who found the body, had called the police to report a body in the same place 1 month prior to his second phone call. The same guy! George Anthony was so very shady. Read the books. Even if it doesn't change your mind, you will get all of the information that was provided to the jury. Not just what you observed through the media.

After watching the Movie about the prosecution of Casey Anthony which was slighted against her, I belief she was innocent! You people are crazy!
