SPAIN – A U.S-led research team has located the lost city of Atlantis, in mud flats in southern Spain.
Atlantis has been found! And it was found 60 miles inland in the mud flats of Spain. How did it get there? A tsunami!
An international team, led by Fritz Barnkopf, found the true site of Atlantis.
The team used a satellite photo of a suspected submerged city to find the site just north of Cadiz, Spain. There, buried in the vast marshlands of the Dona Ana Park, they believe that they pinpointed the ancient, multi-ringed dominion known as Atlantis.
“We used modern technology and we used Professor Barnkopf’s dog, Scruffy, who we call the Lost City Sniffer. He sniffed out Atlantis in the Spanish marshlands,” said lead geologist, Moses Blue.
Barnkopf’s discovery in central Spain has finally conclusively proven the existence of Atlantis. Most of the citizens of Atlantis died a violent death at the hands of the tsunami, but “Atlantis residents who did not perish in the tsunami fled inland and built new cities there,” Barnkopf said.

“We found something that no one else has ever seen before,” Barnkopf said. He plans on finding El Dorado next and he and his team plans to look for Oz next year.
Greek philosopher Plato wrote about Atlantis some 2,600 years ago, describing it as “an island situated in front of the straits which are by you called the Pillars of Hercules,” as the Straits of Gibraltar were known in antiquity. Using Plato’s detailed account of Atlantis as a map, searches have focused on the Mediterranean and Atlantic as the best possible sites for the city.
Plato can now rest in peace. Atlantis has been found!

I doubt this is really the Atlantis Plato spoke of.Plato was Greek and everything said or written about Atlantis is talking about Greek places and Greek sites….Its not near Spain…Note him talking about finding Oz which is only in a book and El dorado which was what South America was called when the Coquistadors raided it
On the contrary, Plato was quite aware of the world beyond Greece. The Mediterranean was well known to the sea faring Greeks. Plato himself described the place in the western Med. Sea. He spoke of the The Pillars of Hercules. This was the Greek name for the Straights of Gibraltar.
Uh… As for the part about Elderado and Oz? That part is a joke.
Eldorado was a mythical city, not a land mass.

you are all stupid, if it is Atlantis there has to be scientific proof, to me this is bullshit, i have read lots of articles about Atlantis, it has all been polluted with all the crap people make up, because of that, people dont know the real story.
