NEW YORK, NY – The big guns have been called in to help Lindsay Lohan!
With Lindsay Lohan as close to rock bottom as you can get, her dad is looking for a miracle to save her daughter. Although the two haven’t exactly been on speaking terms as of late, Michael Lohan is looking for a way to reach out to her.
“My people are reaching out to Robert Downey Jr. and to Mark Wahlberg,” Michael said in a radio interview with Nashville radio station 107.5 The River on Monday. “I know both of them, and Mark is a tremendous human being. Hopefully, they’ll see her before she gets out and she’ll get in this rehab and get off these prescription meeds, and she’ll get her life back.”
Downey Jr. and Wahlberg are two of the hottest actors in Hollywood right now. Both have had their run-ins with the law, but have bettered themselves and become extremely successful. Michael, 50, hopes that their wisdom will be able to help LiLo get her acting career and act back on track after she completes her 90-day rehabilitation program.
Downey Jr. spent time behind bars on at least four separate occasions in the late ’90s after numerous arrests on drug-related charges.
Wahlberg did time in the late ’80s after he was convicted of assault against a man.
With or without the A-list help, Michael plans on being there for his daughter when she gets out.
“Once she gets out … of course I’m going to fly back and I’ll be there for her,” he told the radio station.
Michael will be lucky if he gets so much as eye contact from his daughter.
“I don’t want my ex-father anywhere near me no matter where I am. He is crazy and scares me,” Lindsay tweeted July 19, a day before she was sent to the slammer.
