LOS ANGELES, CA – Katy Perry gives the public the scoop in the latest Esquire!
Katy Perry drops jaws wherever she goes. Maxim’s hottest is capable of making a sex addict tame his wildest desires just for her. That’s exactly the case with Perry and her husband-to-be Russel Brand.
Perry said she used one simple trick to tame Brand – she denied him sex. Sounds cruel, just as cruel as it is to see Perry posing topless in the August issue of UK’s Esquire.
The singer is no stranger to showing skin and has even shot whipped cream from her bra in her latest music video, but he admits that she refused to have sex with Brand on the day they first met. Brand actually made the proposition and she apparently threw a bottle at him from across the room.
It “hit him smack dab on the head,” she told Esquire. “Can you imagine the horrible feeling he had, when he was used to getting everything he wanted? I was like, ‘You’ve met your match.”
Perry forced her now-fiance, who “used to basically be a professional prostitute,” to take her out on a date. A week later, the duo was on vacation in Thailand.
According to the “California Gurls” singer, Brand proposed to her in Jaipur, India by getting down on one knee and organizing fireworks and a painted elephant. They are set to wed in October.
As for domestic life, Perry told Esquire that she and Brand are “two divas in one house,” but that they are the perfect fit.

It’s hard not to be a perfect fit with Perry around the house.
