BILL CLINTON: "I WANT TO RUN FOR PRESIDENT IN 2012"

LITTLE ROCK, AR – Bill Clinton wants to be President again and thinks The Constitution should be amended so he can run in 2012.
Former President Bill Clinton made a speech at The Clinton Library in Little Rock Arkansas.  He was dedicating a bridge built on the  library property.  The former President gave a long speech and at the end he shocked the audience by saying he wants to run for President as the Democratic Nominee in 2012 and he wants the country to amend the Constitution in order to do so.
Clinton told the crowd that eight years is not enough time to get things  done.  He feels that the second term is always a lame duck term and that certain Presidents – like himself – should be allowed to serve three terms.
“When they passed the 22nd Amendment in 1947, people did not live as long.  Today, President’s are healthier than ever and if we have a good one in the Oval Office, we should keep him there for at least 12 years,” Clinton told the crowd.

Clinton is going to speak to Congressional leaders to see if they can get the Amendment wheels in motion.  “I know I can save this country, if the people would just put me back in office.  The last time we had a surplus I was President. I can do it again.”
So, he plans on challenging Barack Obama for the Democratic nomination?
“No comment at this time,” Clinton said.
Insiders, however, are saying that Barack Obama will forgo running for a  second term and step aside.  That will leave an opening for Bill Clinton – or his wife!
“There may be one scenario in which Bill Clinton will run against  his wife Hillary for the Democratic nomination,” said Doug Schoen, Democratic  Pollster and longtime Clinton friend.

James Carville, Clinton’s fiery campaign advisor, said that he would sign on “in a heartbeat” to help Clinton win the nomination and the Presidency.  “If he runs, there isn’t a Republican on this planet that will  be able to win even one state,” said Carville.
Many Democrats feel that Clinton was the greatest President of the 20th Century, and perhaps the greatest President of all time.  So many are getting excited about a third term for Bill Clinton.
“Bill Clinton was our first black President,” said Congresswoman Maxine Waters.  “The Congressional Black Caucus would support Bill Clinton over Barack Obama – unanimously.”
Things could get very interesting in 2012.

  1. I would vote for Mr. or Mrs. Clinton. President Obama who I voted for was just not ready for the job. He and his people did the work & strategy to get to the office but did not know how to utilize the Oval Office once he sat behind the desk. He has very recently brought back his fiery side that got him into office. It's shameful to say the least. He said when he ran to judge him on his actions when it came time for re-election. It won't happen but I wish he would step aside for the good of our country. It's not about one man it's about a nation of people.

You are the light and our true source of hope as we currently stand on the brink of chaos in this country. I have never been so proud as to be an American than when you were our country’s leader. It is abundantly clear – Clinton 2012

  7. Clinton 2012 – ABSOLUTELY!!!! But remember, he is not a GOD and miracles won't happen overnight. It took years to build this country, has taken years to destroy it. WIll take twice as long to heal us. But I do think he has the ability if Congress will back him to redirect America back to being America.
What can we do to make this happen in time for him to run?

  12. I would vote for Bill or even his wife. I believe that Bill was a good president for the people. Since JFK. he has been one of the best presidents in office. He got the USA above water and if we give him another chance maybe he can work his magic again to get the country and the people from drowning in debt.

  13. USA 2012 Needs Mario Cuomo as President of the United States of America for 8 years. It will take 4 years to undue the Bush Jackal's damage/Obama's waste of space and probably 4 more years to get the US back to a fully employed manufacturing based economy. Id love to see Hillary Clinton as Vice president. Bill Clinton as Secretary of State. These great people have the necessary experience and they are very intelligent. Republicans are OBSOLETE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Clinton was the greatest ! AND I MEAN THE BEST PRESIDENT SINCE WASHINGTON ! HE WILL GO DOWN IN HISTORY AFTER ALL THE REPUBLICAN COMMIES AND NAZIS DIE.

  17. Clinton is ineligible to run, even as VP. Since you have to be eligible to be President to run as VP.
With regards to him being the "first black president", that is a title which has been handed out a lot- an earlier example would be Theodore Roosevelt- who basically threw away the South to advance Civil Rights (at least as far as that went in the early 1900's).
And in all fairness to WWN and their writers, the article does specify that Clinton wants the Constitution AMENDED to allow him to run.

  18. Bill Clinton was the best! I miss the 99 cent per gallon gas that went up the minute GW was sworn into office. I don't think we can ever get back to a dominant manufacturing position again without a complete revolution. The corporations own the government.

  21. Bill Clinton's presidency set the stage for the financial collapse and bailouts. Glass-Steagall was repealed on his watch. Electing him again would be a terrible idea. Stop being sentimental. Nostalgia won't do us any good. Unless he shows that he understands his mistakes and won't repeat them he's worthless to me as a president.

    • What we need to realize is the others who are in office as well. All because a person who might of been president was in the office when things got better, or worse, it does not mean they causec it.
I think we need to change the rules on those who are still in other offices that might of played a part in the down fall of things such as congress giving themselves a raise when the others in society are striving to survive.
We need to fix tghe income those in officve are able to receive, or gain, by being in office and after they ran in office because it feels like those who are in our offices take advantage of our taxs for themselves andnnot for the people…most CEOs would fire you by how silly it has become on those in offices mis using our money the people's money.

  22. LMAO. I love all the comments where people believe this article to be truth. This is WWN, a spoof tabloid that spins the truth in order to be humorous, obscene and unrealistic.
There is some truth to this article, though. Clinton did state that he wants the 22nd Amendment changed in order to allow Presidents to run more than two terms, but he also specifies that it should not include him or any other current or prior president.
I'll do the homework for those that are ignorant and foolish enough to believe everything they read, even (and especially) when its from a news source such as WWN. Here's a real news article. Take a gander and learn what's really the truth.

There is some truth to this article, though. Clinton did state that he wants the 22nd Amendment changed in order to allow Presidents to run more than two terms "that as a practical matter you couldn't apply to anyone who's already served." (Clinton, 2011)

  24. It is my opinion that Bill Clinton had a 90% success rate, and I would immediately take him back. George W. Bush had a 45% success rate. Bill Clinton left the country in tact, and just a little bit better. When G.W. Bush left office he became a wrecking ball and destroyed everything in and beyond his sight. He destroyed the country and actually had the audacity to say, "Now let's see him fix it."

Him being President Barack Obama who was left with a success rate of 30%, and he knew, as well a the country, although the country may not have wanted to admit it, that he could not untie the knots that G.W. Bush had tied. President Obama's success rate is at a -40% and falling. He will leave the White House without having accomplished anything. He was set up to fail by G.W. Bush and the country crumbled and continue to do so under his watch. He should not look forward to another term in office.
If the law is changed to allow Bill Clinton to run for the office of President again, then that will also open the door for George W. Bush, and Bill Clinton may never get in. George W. Bush is a sociopathic who has his own agenda and it definitely is not for the better of the United States. Bill Clinton is a decent thinking and caring man, I do believe he will understand and not seek to have the law changed..

Bill Clinton was a fine president, and while he had personal issues, no more than many presidents we had who were beloved such as John Kennedy. Under Bill Clinton's watch the country expanded, multiple people were employed, the budget became balanced, family leave act and multiple other issues prevailed. I believe if the country started a internet petition for presidents to run a third term there is a president with FDR and other presidents. BILL CLINTON WOULD NOT BE RUNNING A CONSECUTIVE TERM, which may be a legal qualifier. GO FOR IT I'D BE THE FIRST TO SIGN.As a Democrat I've had a tough time deciding who I'll vote for this time.I believe President Barack Obama has good intentions, but we need someone to take leadership and cut through all the fighting in congress to restore the middle class.Health care is still a issue of inequality to all, and JOBS are a major issue as is housing. Bill is a great multi tasker and enlists great cooperation to tackle problems. jg

    • President Obama is the least respected by the Republicans than any president ever in this country. Luckily, his stature is higher than any of them could have imagined. He has been unshakable and more dignified that what they can ever conceive. Shameless and repudiation is what they deserve!

    • Why do you want Hilary in office? No one voted in the last Presidential nomination. Hilary is no good. If she became president, the country would go downhill with Hilary which is why she didn't win the last presidential nomination. We don't need a woman becoming president. We need a good, outstanding president. Hilary is no good.

  30. I'm 63. I'm a democrat. I would vote for him before anyone else. If presidents were voted in for how much they did for the country instead of stuff that should have remained personal, he'd win by a landslide.

  32. I will write him in if I can. Last election I saw no place for write ins. If we would get rid of political parties, it wouldnt be such a taboo for someone to oppose the president if they were in a similar political boat. Maybe people would accept longer terms if we focused more on the person and not the party.
