KISSIMMEE, FL – A woman locked inside her car called 911 because she did not know how to get out!

A woman locked in her car at a Walgreen’s near Poinciana, Florida called a 911 dispatcher after she realized she had locked herself in her own car.

“My car will not start. I’m locked inside my car,” the woman explained. “Nothing electrical works. And it’s getting very hot in here, and I’m not feeling well.”

A presumed electrical failure killed the car, leaving the woman unclear on how to open the windows or unlock her own door.

The dispatcher asked if the woman could manually pull the lock up. “Um, I’m sorry,” the embarrassed woman said after easily unlocking the door.

  1. Yup, Once I was locked inside my house for 3 months. Almost starved! I finally found that I was turning the knob the wrong way. *blush*

  2. I once locked myself into my convertible. I had to survive by eating the groceries I just purchased, and drinking the water that collected in my car when it rained.

  3. Once I was chased by a rabid St. Bernard and ran to safety in my vehicle while the dog tried to break into my car to get me. No wait, that was a movie. Nevermind.

  4. I was just locked in my subaru imprezza not realising the battery was flat. the car just completeley shut down the alarms went off and everything was locked windows shut and the hotest day of the year. I was lucky enough to be rescued by a postman who was delivering a parcel. He broke into my house and got the spare keys and opened the doors from out side. It isnt funny I could have died within an hour. Any suggestions??
