KEY WEST, FL – A woman in Florida took multitasking to a whole new level. A two car crash was the result!
Megan Mariah Barnes, 37, was the cause of a crash after she became distracted while shaving her bikini line. Barnes crashed into the back of a truck in the Florida Keys while her ex-husband held the wheel as she attempt to take care of that tricky bikini area.
“She said she was meeting her boyfriend in Key West and wanted to be ready for the visit,” said Trooper Gary Dunick. If I wasn’t there, I wouldn’t have believed it. About 10 years ago I stopped a guy in the same exact spot … who had three or four syringes sticking out of his arm. It was just surreal and I thought,, ‘Nothing will ever beat this.'”
The two females in the pickup truck hit by Barnes were treated for minor injuries.
To make matters worse for Barnes is that she was driving with a revoked license Why you ask? Well because she was convicted of driving under the influence and her license was revoked for five years.
She will now face charges of driving with a revoked license, reckless driving, driving with no insurance and leaving the scene of a wreck with injuries. If she is convicted, she could face a maximum sentence of a year in jail for violating her probation.
We can only hope that her bikini line was just right for her boyfriend. Don’t shave and drive people!
