NEW YORK, NY – A bride has sued her wedding photographer for publishing semi-nude photos of her!
Bride Sara Botswick was married on September 20, 2008. She decided to hire a photographer from Christian Oth Inc., as they have been rated one of the top 10 wedding studios in the world by American Photo magazine.
That is why the photographer’s behavior came as such a shock. Bostwick claims in her suit that she “forbade” Carolyn Monastra from taking photos of her while she was getting dressed. However, the photographer proceeded to take photos “of plaintiff’s person in her underwear and in various stages of undress anyway.”
To add insult to injury, Monastra included them in the online wedding album, for both guests and strangers to see!
The studio agreed to take them down, but only moved them to a special password-protected area of the website.
Bostwick is claiming the events caused “severe emotional injuries, including post-traumatic stress disorder.” The studio has yet to comment.
