ISTANBUL – A sheep has given birth to a stillborn lamb with human features. Beware: not for the squeamish!
Erhan Elibol, a veterinarian, delivered the lamb in a village outside Izmir, Turkey. He was forced to deliver via Cesarean section after the sheep could not push it out.
“I’ve seen mutations with cows and sheep before,” he said. “I’ve seen a one-eyed calf, a two-headed calf, a five-legged calf. But when I saw this youngster I could not believe my eyes. His mother could not deliver him so I had to help the animal.”
The lamb’s head had sheep ears, but all of its other features – eyes, nose and mouth – were distinctly human looking!
The mutation is believed to have been caused by the mother sheep having had too much Vitamin A during the pregnancy, which can also cause problems in pregnant human female.
It is unclear what became of the lamb’s corpse once the examination was completed.
The story is very similar to a half-man half-goat creature that was born in Zimbabwe last year. Is there a connection?

Please visit the "terms of use" page on the bottom of this website, specifically paragraph six, where I quote, "Weekly World News articles are drawn from a number of different sources and some are fictitious or satirical"…
On another note, this site is like onion news but wayy more gullible for people to believe, sweet.
Isn't this how Bat Boy was conceived?
garry baaaa son,ha ha
it looks like garry baaaa
ok
Gerad — i thought a donkey was a cross between a horse and mule
this would suggest cross mating of species is possible.
it's the other way around – a mule is a cross between a horse and a donkey
really people?
uhmmmm THIS IS THE WEIRDEST THING I HAVE EVER HEARD!!
look he's smyling! ooooooohhh…..
All these Scientific Minds – I'm impressed ;-(
I do it all the time, just make the sheep face the cliff
It seems very clear to me. They need to find the man that it looks like in the village!
Not fake and not a new incident either. Also happened in Zimbabwe. Check out this YouTube video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ldUJaCW1K0g Perhaps this is where the myth of the faun originated from.
Keirston you do not pay attention at all.1 It was not the lamb that got screwed.2 It is not necessary for a man to mate a sheep in order to have an offspring with human features. It could be just evolution.Don't forget we all have a common ancestor.Even with the plants:).Yes, there is a difference between mamals regarding the number of chromosomes but I will not develop this idea to much. The thing is that certain genes are switched on or off in sperm cells.Let's just imagine for a second that the repressors for the human face genes expression have been inhibited by something. In this case vitamin A.Or could just be some strong exposure to the UV.God knows:)
Technically it is not possible to ''screw'' a sheep and get a lamb with your smile;)I will show you why:''A sheep–goat hybrid is the hybrid offspring of a sheep and a goat. Although sheep and goats seem similar and can be mated together, they belong to different genera. Goats belong to the genus Capra and have 60 chromosomes, while sheep belong to the genus Ovis and have 54 chromosomes. The offspring of a sheep-goat pairing is generally stillborn. Despite widespread shared pasturing of goats and sheep, hybrids are poorly attested, indicating the genetic distance between the two species.''(wikipedia)
The human genome is the genome of Homo sapiens, which is stored on 23 chromosome pairs which means 46 chromosomes.So….Brokeback mountain with a sheep doesn't apply to this case:))))))
Here's an even more creepy thought. Female animals will mate and conceive when in estrus (period)…so if this was incident of bestiality–well, go figure this out yourself! YIKES!
Sheepish….actually, it's the other way around. A mule is the result of a male donkey and a female horse. There's also ligers (male lion and female tiger) and tiglons (male tiger and female lion).
you're a freaking idiot!!!
Obviously sheep and humans have a different number of chromosomes which makes it impossible for them to mate!!!!!
its kinda hard to beileve….i want to believe its real then agian IDK! some guy REALLY had to be desperate…..PERV!!
on a side note: BabyGenderChooser.com has some good tips on conceiving a boy or a girl.
it's clearly an injured, hairless lamb. stillborn look like they have gunk on them and that is a bald lamb
