LONDON – Casper, the well known commuter cat of Plymouth, England, has been killed in a hit-and-run!
Casper was no ordinary cat. He became a local legend in his city of Plymouth after it was discovered he had been boarding the same bus every day by himself!
Casper would sit in line at the bus stop and wait patiently for the number 3 service, which would take him on his daily adventure. He would then get off and return home.
His owner, Sue Finden, had no idea what her cat had been doing until she took the same bus one day and the driver told her!
Sadly, he was recently hit and killed by a car, which did not stop. A note was placed at his regular stop for fans, which read:
“Many local people knew Casper, who loved everyone. He also enjoyed the bus journeys. Sadly a motorist hit him … and did not stop. Casper died from his injuries. He will be greatly missed… he was a much loved pet who had so much character. Thank you to all those who befriended him.”
