SEA LION PUP RESCUED

SAN DIEGO, CA – One sea lion pup decided to go on an adventure and get away from its boring everyday life!
At about 4 AM, San Diego police got an unexpected call from the Ocean Beach Neighborhood. According to residents, there was a sea lion pup out in the streets. Police rolled out to investigate, but they did not expect to be engulfed in a four-hour-long stand-off.
When officers arrived on the scene, the pup scuttled under the patrol car. When attempts were made to get him out from under, the sea lion would growl and slide back under.
SeaWorld rescuer Kevin Robinson came to save the day and the standoff was over at around 8 AM. According to reports, the pup was dehydrated but uninjured. He should be released within the next two months.
