Pippa Middleton is moving to New York City and will be the new editor-in-waiting of Vogue Magazine.
International style icon and in-law-to-the-royals Pippa Middleton will be hopping the pond and heading to the Big Apple. She will be the new editor of Vogue Magazine – whenever Anna Wintour decides to step down.
Dutchess Kate’s little sis is ditching London for New York. The younger Middleton originally wanted to move to Paris but with the socialist Hollande now in charge, she wants to go to New York City and “make a lot of money.”
Pippa is telling friends that she wants to go to New York city so that she can get some “privacy” but the papparazzi in New York City are already making places to follow her around – 24/7.
The 28-year-old Middleton’s forthcoming party-planning guide, “Celebrate,” is set to hit stores in October, and reports indicate that her publisher, Penguin, will make her stop in New York the place where she will officially announce her move.
Sources close to Pippa told WWN that she is also planning on applying to be an American citizen and may renounce her Brtitish citizenship!
What do New Yorkers think?
“Celebrities want to come here because New Yorkers don’t care about them,” said Jackie Zarano, 24, of Queens, adding: “I really don’t give a shi*t.”
Another New Yorker didn’t even recognize Pippa’s name.
“I think that royalty only matters to British people,” said Emily Plyton, 28, of Murray Hill. “We don’t have royalty here. You gotta prove yourself. And I don’t think that girl’s got it to make it here.”
The fashion industry isn’t happy. “Who does she think she is, coming here and trying to take the best job in fashion. She’ll never make it to editor of Vogue, not without a fight from a lot of New Yorkers.”
Anna Wintour certainly isn’t happy about giving up her throne:
But Pippa has a lot of experience watching models on runways so she thinks “it’ll be fun to be the editor of Vogue. ”
Pippa is also bringing her favorite club with her. Pippa plans to open a “Boom Boom Room” in Soho sometime next year.
NYC will eat her alive. She should stay in England and be grateful for her pampered life.
