DEATH PENALTY FOR BP – ACCORDING TO BRAD PITT

NEW YORK, NY – If it were up to Brad Pitt – BP would have to face some serious consequences!
When it comes to BP and the Gulf Oil Spill, Brad Pitt is direct and to the point. If he was in power, those responsible for the oil spill would have more than cleanup efforts to worry about. Pitt has said that the death penalty would be a viable option if it were up to him.
The “Ocean’s Eleven” actor said he usually opposed capital punishment but would make an exception if he could. Lucky for BP executives that Pitt is not in a seat of power.
Pitt’s harsh words for BP are found in Spike Lee’s new documentary about New Orleans – “If God Is Willing and Da Creek Don’t Rise.”
“I was never for the death penalty before – I am willing to look at it again,” the 46-year-old said when asked about the situation.
The superstar actor has been heavily involved in rebuilding part of New Orleans, with the Make It Right project to build 150 affordable and sustainable homes there.
The documentary was originally intended to end on a high note – with the New Orleans Saints winning the Superbowl. However, when the Deepwater Horizon oil rig exploded in April, Lee felt compelled to include it in his documentary.
“This would have been a much more upbeat documentary for sure,” Lee said.

  1. WE all make mistakes! But we learn from them! And in 2011 we have better ways for fuel and energy! solar, Wind Turbines, Bio mass gasifiers will replace nuclear power plants that waste water!!! lots of water and then the waste is dumped into our enviroment! in our oceans and steams! Biomass gasifiers burn wood, junk mail that go to land fill. now nuclear power plants in Japan release radiation into our atmosphere! wake up!!!!!! Replace oil with bio diesel, ethanol, hydrogen cells. learn more at IQalternative-energy.com.
