HELEN THOMAS TO APPEAR IN PLAYBOY

NEW YORK, NY – One White House correspondent’s fall from grace may have found a soft place to land!
The fallout from longtime White House correspondent Helen Thomas has been monumental. The columnist was left with no move but to resign from Hearst Newspapers in the aftermath of her controversial remarks about Jews.
Thomas, who will turn 90 in August, was videotaped recently saying Jews should leave Palestine and go “home” to “Poland, Germany … and America, and everywhere else.” She apologized last Friday, saying her remarks “do not reflect my heart-felt belief that peace will come to the Middle East only when all parties recognize the need for mutual respect and tolerance. May that day come soon.”
In the ripple effect of her comments, the apologia seemed to fall on deaf ears. She was forced to cancel a planned commencement address at Walk Whitman High and on Monday, the White House Correspondents Association began taking steps to remove her from a front-row seat at the daily White House briefing.
Well, all is not lost for Thomas. WWN has received word that the now outcast columnist has found work in another – less than expected – location; Playboy. Rumors are spreading like wildfire that Helen Thomas is considering a seven figure offer from Playboy to appear nude in their upcoming election issue. NO word on whether or not she will appear on the cover. WWN reached out to Playboy to confirm, but no one could be reached for comment.
Larry Devine, a senior citizens rights advocate says that, “putting an 89 year old woman in their magazine would be a clear message from Playboy that they are non-age discriminatory.”
If true, this would be a monumental move from not only Playboy but also Thomas. It remains to be seen if there is any truth to the rumors. Stay-tuned for any updates.

  1. That old racist (Lebanese) ARAB woman Helen Thomas' 'ethnic cleansing' view reflects the 'conflct of the middle east' Arab racism & Islamic bigotry that is.
You have to thank that old Arab hag for being honest, at least, at her last days…
Take a good look at this "moderate" Arab and tell me it's not about Arab racism.
The basic attitudes of the intolerant Goliath Arab Muslims world is that: 'You Jews are "outsiders" here in the middle east!' The Arab Palestinians who's parents or grandparents came over from Arab land and occupy the Jews' original homeland? they're OK, they're "home."
Because the entire middle east is 'Arab Muslim land' all other non-Arab non-Muslim minorities are "outsiders" especially the Jews, Why? Because they're neither Arab nor Muslim…

  2. Considering the enormous wealth of Jews in comparison to that of many other groups and specifically the Palestinians whom their wealthy Arab relatives won't help relocate, Helen's point makes good sense and is a non tested theory that on the surface seems reasonably practical.

  3. Stupid rumor, surely aimed at provoking the kind of racism in the above comment by "freedemocracy" (who calls her an "old Arab hag"- imagine just for a second that anybody commented on any website originating in the US on an elderly jewish woman and called her an "old Jewish hag"; the comment would be removed immediately.)
Anyway, Thomas will be interviwed in the April 2011 issue of Playboy. Should be great!

  4. Undeniably imagine that that you said. Your favorite justification appeared to be on the net the easiest factor to have in mind of. I say to you, I certainly get annoyed while people consider issues that they just don’t recognize about. You controlled to hit the nail upon the highest and also defined out the entire thing with no need side-effects , other people can take a signal. Will likely be back to get more. Thank you

  5. It’s unfortunate to see someone with such a long career experience facing such a fallout due to controversial remarks. The potential move to appear in a publication like Playboy at an advanced age is unexpected and raises questions about age discrimination. It will be interesting to see how this situation develops.
