LOS ANGELES – Sources inside the American Idol empire have confirmed – the show is rigged!

American Idol fans have long suspected something was amiss ever since Ruben Studdard lost, and now, with Pia Toscano being tossed off this year’s show,  the cat is out of the bag.

The most popular singers have not been winning. The voices of  voters across America have not been heard. WWN spoke to insiders at Diebold – the company that provides some of the hardware for the vote counting. They say that the RIAA are the real snake in the grass here. The whole point of the show is to sell records, and the executives of the record labels allegedly know better than the viewing public what they can sell. They run the show behind the scenes, and contracted with Diebold to tabulate the votes as they saw fit.

Also, AT&T, one of the biggest corporate sponsors of American Idol, repeatedly influences the outcome of the competition by providing free text-messaging services and allowing blocks of votes at parties organized by fans of certain contestants.

Representatives of AT&T, whose mobile phone network is the only one that can be used to cast American Idol votes via text message, have been involved with “Idol Fixing Scam” since they first signed on with the competition.  Since they give Idol producers a lot of money,  they have a LOT to say about who the winner will be.

Everyone who has watched the show has had this thought, ” Why won’t they reveal the number of votes everyone got?”  The reason:  it’s rigged!!

How else can you explain Pia Toscano, who was clearly one of the top singers in this year’s competition, getting tossed off?

It makes no sense, right?  Yeah, it does… the whole thing is rigged by the producers of American Idol in cahoots with Diebold and the record label.  Did you ever think it was fair?

But then again, some people in America tend to be ‘easily led’ or followers of sorts. So, if they publicized the actual number of votes, perhaps it would affect subsequent voting choices.

The history of American Idol is littered with voting irregularities. An independent audit was done of actual phone logs the nights of the shows. In season three, Latoya London had gotten the most calls each week, but Diebold machines declared her a loser in one of the late elimination rounds. Based on phone logs however, there is no way that Pia Toscana was not the most popular.  Season four also showed wide discrepancies between phone logs and official tallies. Carrie Underwood should have been voted off a considerable time before the finals, yet was ultimately declared the winner in spite of Bo Bice lighting up switchboards on a consistent basis.

WWN sought out comment from the first, and only confirmed legitimate winner of the contest, Kelly Clarkson. She said she was contractually banned from making any comment about the show.  But one can assume what she thinks. When she won a Grammy Award she did not even mention American Idol.

Some ousted season 8 American Idol top 36 semi-finalists–including Felicia Barton, Kendall Beard, and Ju’Not Joyne — have also repeatedly said that the show is rigged.  Ju’Not came right out and said that the TV talent show is in fact rigged, and that its contracts are unfair to contestants

“It’s a fixed thing if I ever saw one,” he boldly declared.

Ju’Not claimed he was cut from the competition, and not invited back for the Wild Card round (a shock to many viewers wowed by his memorable “Hey There Delilah” performance) because of his concerns regarding the fairness of the Idol contract.

“They pay for our lawyers to negotiate against their lawyer (which is BS),” he said. “They make us COLLECTIVELY choose the lawyer, then they act like it’s in our best interest. Craziest stuff I’ve ever seen. I have a son to feed. I HAD to ask questions and know what I was signing. Plus I write my own songs and I needed to know details…Some folks were like, ‘Just shut up and sign on the dotted line.’ I know better than that…I wasn’t complaining…I was asking basic legal questions. There’s a huge difference between the two.”

Can this season be saved? Or is another phony champion going to be pushed on America by Diebold and the RIAA? Perhaps the American people can still make a difference. Call Fox Television and let them know that you won’t stand for this. The very institution of reality television is at stake. Call them today!

“Idol” is averaging 25 million viewers a night, matching last year, according to the Los Angeles-based Fox, which has aired the show since its 2002 inception. The program has lost viewers since 2007.

Season 10 started in January with a 12 percent drop in viewers, Fox said at the time. Ratings didn’t begin to exceed the prior year’s episodes until Feb. 3, according to Nielsen data supplied by the network.  Since then, new judges Lopez and Tyler have grown more comfortable on air, and the contestants have drawn higher vote totals than last season, underscoring the larger audience and higher-quality contestants, Preston Beckman, executive vice president of strategic programming at Fox, said in an interview.

When Pia Toscano was voted off “Idol” on April 7, fans protested on Twitter Inc. and Facebook Inc. The day after, Toscano added 30,000 followers on Twitter and performed on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.” Reaction will likely intensify as more contestants depart, Beckman said.

HOLLYWOOD, CA – American Idol will be in need of two more judges when the next season kicks off!

American Idol was well aware that it was going to have to find a replacement judge for Simon Cowell – their “tell it like it is” personality. Now it seems as though the show will have to find a replacement for Ellen DeGeneres as well. The daytime talk show host announced today that she would no be returning for a new season.

Degeneres came onto American Idol this past season and brought a new flair never before seen on the show. The host of “The Ellen Degeneres Show” provided her usual wit and comedy, while butting heads with Cowell on occasion. Now she’s decided to vote herself off, and American Idol is down two judges.

“A couple months ago, I let FOX and the ‘American Idol’ producers know that this didn’t feel like the right fit for me,” Degeneres said in a statement issued to Access Hollywood on Thursday. ‘I told them I wouldn’t leave them in a bind and that I would hold off on doing anything until they were able to figure out where they wanted to take the panel next.”

The comedienne revealed that the decision was not one that was easy to make.

“It was a difficult decision to make, but my work schedule became more than I bargained for,” her statement continued. “I also realized this season that while I love discovering, supporting and nurturing young talent, it was hard for me to judge people and sometimes hurt their feelings.”

Degeneres ended on a high note, expressing her thanks for the experience.

“I loved the experience working on ‘Idol’ and I am very grateful for the year I had. I am a huge fan of the show and will continue to be,” her statement concluded.

HOLLYWOOD, CA – The always controversial Simon Cowell is stirring up some new buzz!

Simon Cowell is finishing up his last season with American Idol and there will certainly be a huge void to fill. Cowell has been known, for as long as he’s been on the show, as the “bad guy.” His harsh criticisms for contestants in the past have brought many to tears. There are also times when many, including co-judges such as Randy Jackson, have felt that his words have gone overboard.

Regardless, there will be a need for a new third judge and Cowell has weighed in on the issue. Cowell fielded various questions from reporters during a press conference yesterday.

He was asked how much music business experience is really required for the job. “I think it’s really important…And I think over the years, judges have been replaced by personalities. That in the long term will create problems, because you’ve got to be able to spot a star,” Cowell said.

And to those who are in charge of replacing him, he had a message. “Find somebody who actually knows what they’re talking about and has actually experienced success in the mussy business.”

There have been many rumors that Howard Stern might be a potential replacement, but Cowell quickly laid that to rest. “Howard Stern doesn’t seem to fit any of my criteria. He’s played records, maybe that’s a good qualification, that he’s a DJ,” Cowell said. He did, however, lend his support for Perez Hilton. “Perez would be funny. He’s got good taste in music, he’s got a personality, that could work.” Perez Hilton has his own music label under Warner Music Group.

He ended with thoughts of Lady Gaga being a guest judge, finding his own Taylor Swift to win the competition, and having a successful last season. “I want to go out on a high; It’s my last season, I want it to be successful and I’m going to do everything I can to make it happen.”

LOS ANGELES, LA – Going on its ninth season, Ellen DeGeneres was certainly a breathe of fresh air for American Idol!

The host of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”, stepped outside of her comfort zone and took her position as the new judge for this season’s American Idol. If her first appearance last night is a sign of things to come, than this should be a very good ninth season. Known for her quick wit and funnylady persona, fans were certainly delighted with her debut as the singing competition’s fourth judge.

Ellen responded to comments of not having enough experience in the music biz by saying, “I know what it’s like to stand on stage trying to please a roomful of people.” Ellen didn’t hold back or feel overwhelmed and she got right to work. Using her comedy as a crutch, she was honest with the contestants. Saying about one, “You were like a leopard behind a cage.” To another contestant, “It was crazy – in a bad way.”

As has been reported, this will be Simon Cowell’s last season as judge. A regular walking hallmark card, who has been known for his harsh criticisms. Towards the beginning of the show, Simon and Ellen shared a moment. “So this is it, huh?” Ellen whispered to Simon. “I come on, you leave.”

The “American Idol” faithful were more than pleased with her debut. Many rushed to their Twitter and Facebook pages to sing her praises. Some admitted that they only tuned in to watch her debut. “Ellen Completely met my expectations,” said Dave Della Terza, founder of VoteForTheWorst.com. Andy Dehnhart, lecturer at Stetson University, said,”She excels as a talk show host and it she keeps up what she did tonight, she’ll easily establish herself as the best judge.”

Two highlights of the evening were Lilly Scott, a sandwich maker, who did Ella Fitzgerald’s “Lullaby Of Birdland” much justice. Also Michael Lynche, a personal trainer and expecting his first child, who pleased the crowd with John Mayer’s “Waiting on the World to Change.”

LOS ANGELES, CA – Simon Cowell is leaving American Idol to teach Democrats how to stand up to Republicans.

Simon Cowell announced yesterday that he will be leaving American Idol, the show that shot him to fame.  The current ninth season will be his last as the trademark caustic British judge, a role which has become an archetype in American pop culture.  However the precise reasons for Cowell’s departure remain mysterious.

Officially Simon Cowell is leaving the show to focus on bringing his other program, X Factor, to American audiences.  But rumors abound that he is really leaving because of a illicit love affair with Ellen Degeneres.  Both parties flatly deny any relationship besides professional.  However dozens of sources report seeing the two sneak off during lunch breaks every day, returning late with tussled hair and clothes.  Insiders agree Cowell is leaving Idol to put an end to their affair before it possibly destroyed their careers.

For whatever reason Simon Cowell will leave the popular Fox program, and has already begun helping House and Senate Democrats.  Even after winning a filibuster-proof “Super Majority” in elections the Democrats have not been able to put forward any substantial legislation.  Cowell, television’s meanest judge, is preparing them to face Republican opposition.

“Technically you shouldn’t be able to lose,” Cowell said to Harry Reid in the House of Congress.  “Mathematically it should be impossible.  Yet somehow you have found a way.”

Simon Cowell went down the line criticizing important members of the Democratic party.  Each would take the podium and begin to speak, only to be cut off by Simon when he’d had enough.  “Nancy Pelosi, how do you call yourself the Majority Leader?  You haven’t led anything.  President Bush had eviscerated the constitution by this point in his presidency and he didn’t have nearly the numbers you do.  You can’t even lead these people to vote on health care!  How is it you’re less influential than Sarah Palin, and she can barely form sentences?!  I’d say your efforts are disappointing, but really it’s just pathetic and I feel sorry for you.”  Pelosi choked back tears as she left the podium and wouldn’t come out of the woman’s bathroom for 45 minutes.

The Democrats hope that with Cowell’s coaching they can develop the backbone to stand up to opposition from the fractured Republican party, and maybe even stand a chance in this years elections.

LOS ANGELES, CA – Adam Lambert is heavily favored to win this season of American Idol.  Is America ready for its first possibly gay idol?

Message boards and church groups have been talking for months about Adam Lambert’s gender bending ways.  The aspiring singer has raised questions about his sexuality by being well groomed, wearing eye-liner, and being photographed in drag kissing other men.

To date Lambert, or Glambert as he is known by his fans, has given no definite answer about his sexuality.

Lambert has received even more attention this week as Revlon has signed the popular singer to be the new face of their makeup line.  A Revlon spokesperson said, “We believe he will be the hip new face that would appeal to the young and fabulous and artistic emo boys alike.”

Several church groups are calling for a boycott of American Idol and Revlon.  One Alabama pastor was quoted as saying, “If we allow our young people to idolize this man, he will turn them all homosexual and our country will die out in a generation or two!”

When sought for response by reporters, Lambert said, “Oh honey, I ain’t that good!”

Like all other winners, if Lambert is crowned the next American Idol he will spend the next year living in a Temple/Mansion in southern California.  During his tenure as the American Idol, he will receive homage from worshipping fans, daily sacrifices of probiotic brunch tortillas and the opportunity to spread his message to stores across the country.

After his crown is passed on he will be dipped in polyurethane to preserve him for all time, and placed in the lobby of Fox Television.
