LOS ANGELES – Miley Cyrus, who turned 19 on November 23rd, 2011, has done photo spread for Playboy!

Ever since Miley Cyrus turned 16, Hugh Hefner has been trying to sign her up to pose naked in Playboy after her 18th birthday.  Finally, with the approval of Miley Cyrus’ parents (Billy Ray and Tish), it’s a done deal – according to reports out of Arizona.

The photos were taken the day after her 18th birthday by Playboy’s top photographers, including Vlad Comito. The concept was approved by Hef himself, who says that Miley’s photo spread, will become a worldwide sensation.

The 84-year-old Playboy tycoon always thought the ‘Hannah Montana’ star – who caused controversy in 2008 by posing in just a blanket in Vanity Fair magazine for photographer Annie Leibovitz – would be a hit with readers of the adult magazine after she turns 18.

Hefner  said,  “We are excited to have her appear in the magazine. She’s a very pretty lady.”

Hefner, who thinks he still has three live-in girlfriends (even though they all moved out a year ago), also insists he can’t understand why some people are upset about Miley appearing in the magazine.  “Every woman wants to appear in Playboy,”  said Playboy CEO Sandra Piccoli.  “There’s a lot of  boys that grew up with her, and she is their fantasy girl.  And there are a lot of other men who buy our magazine because they love to see beautiful women.  Miley turned 18, so she is a legal adult and and officially  a woman.”

Playboy feels that the issue will be a smash success.  “If Miley wants to pose naked, as an adult, she has the right to do so,” said Piccoli.

Hefner is not surprised that some Americans object to Miley being in the magazine:  “I think it’s a reflection on how schizophrenic America is about sexuality.”  Many parents have complained recently about Miley’s new videos which seem racy.  There’s going to be even more complaints when they see her Playboy photo-spread.  Miley has agreed to pose completely naked.

Recently, Miley, has been accused of being too “slutty” – an artistic choice she made for her latest video.  Some may think that the Playboy photos may be a step too far for the young star, but she  will join a long line of celebrities to appear in the magazine:  Denise Richards, Drew Barrymore and Pamela Anderson have previously bared all for the publication.

There’s also concern because Miley is in talks to join the wild indie band, Moses Blue, on the road next summer.

Hugh founded Playboy in 1953, almost 40 years before Miley was born.  Insiders say the elderly Hef is losing some of his mental faculties because he’s started wearing suits, and shoes.  No more bathrobes and slippers.

WWN can confirm that the rumors about Billy Ray, playing a tuba, appearing in the background of some of Miley’s  Playboy photos are completely false, though they may be true.

WWN can also confirm that Billy Ray asked Hef if Playboy would dedicate an entire Playboy issue to him.  “I’ve always wanted to appear naked in Playboy.  I know it’s for guys, but I’m so damn good-looking, I deserve a spread and everyone deserves to be able to look at me naked!”

The Miley Playboy issue should be on newsstands starting one year after her 19th birthday:   it was supposed to come out 11.28.11, but has been postponed by Hef, due to pressure from Miley’s handlers.

The photos will be taken the day after her 18th birthday by Playboy’s top photographers, including Vlad Comito. The concept was approved by Hef himself, who says that Dakota’s photo spread,  was tasteful and will be appreciated by her fans of all ages.

The 85-year-old Playboy tycoon always thought the ‘I Am Sam’ star – who is even causing controversy with her Cosmo photo spread i – would be a hit with readers of the adult magazine after she turns 18.

Hannah Dakota Fanning was born on the 23rd of February 1994, in Conyers, Georgia, USA. Before her debut into the cinematic world, Dakota did her own acting around her house. She was very active for her age, and often put a blanket under her shirt and pretended to be having a baby, using her younger sister, Elle Fanning, who is also an actress now, as the baby. Dakota went to a playhouse near her home, where the children that attended put on a play every week to show to their parents. But the people running the playhouse noticed that Dakota stood out, and advised her parents, Joy and Steven Fanning, to take her to an agency.

Dakota has appeared in a number of films including:  I Am Sam, Taken, Sweet Home Alabama, Twilight, The Secret Lives of Bees.

Dakota and Kristen Stewart heated up the screen in The Runaways in 2010.  In film, Dakota played the lead singer, Cherie Currie.   Dakota snorts cocaine, has lesbian scenes, and generally was NOT the little girl fans had known her to be.

And now… it’s time for her Playboy moment.

Today Ben & Jerry’s announced their newest ice cream flavor—Schweddy Balls, an homage to Saturday Night Live.

It’s vanilla ice cream with a hint of rum and a huge scoop of Baldwin.

The name comes from a skit featuring regular host Alec Baldwin, Molly Shannon and Ana Gasteyer. Baldwin plays Pete Schweddy, owner of a holiday bakery called Season’s Eatings. Shannon and Gasteyer play NPR radio hosts interviewing him for a culinary show. And the central joke of the bit goes like this:

“There are lots of great treats this time of year,” Schweddy says. “Zucchini bread. Fruitcake. But the thing I most like to bring out at this time of the year are my balls.”

He then explains that he sells popcorn balls, cheese balls, rum balls—balls for every taste—and the ball puns proceed, to the great joy of the crowd, for about four minutes. (Ben & Jerry’s chose to go with fudge-covered rum and malt balls for their flavor.) The skit culminates in Baldwin stating that “No one can resist my Schweddy Balls.” Hence, the lore that led to the ice cream.

Are they toeing a line with the title? “The name is irreverent,” says Ben & Jerry’s spokesman Sean Greenwood. “But we’ve always been about having some irreverence and having some fun … We’re not trying to offend people. Our fans get the humor.” The release of Schweddy Balls follows Jimmy Fallon’s Late Night Snack, a flavor they released earlier this year. Other celebrity-related treats include Stephen Colbert’s Americone Dream and, of course, Cherry Garcia.

Ben & Jerry’s has released controversial ice creams, like a special edition of Chubby Hubby called Hubby Hubby, which celebrated gay marriage. Still, it seems safe to say this is—and probably will remain—their ballsiest flavor of all time.

The ice cream is being released in a limited batch, which means it will be distributed nation-wide but only for three or four months. If it proves popular, another batch might be forthcoming.

Alec Baldwin, who will be hosting this year’s season premiere on Sept. 24, had this to say via a press release from Ben & Jerry’s: “For a long time, I thought that ‘Here Lies Pete Schweddy’ would end up on my tombstone. Now, thanks to Ben & Jerry’s, the goodness of the Schweddy family recipe won’t go with me to the great beyond. It is immortalized here, right now, and it’s an ice cream. Ben & Jerry’s and Schweddy. Two great names in American dessert, together at last.”

Ana Gasteyer also chimed in: “As a person and a performer, I am a sucker for holiday balls. And I have no doubt this ice cream will cause many to scream ‘Good Times.”

SHERMAN OAKS, CA – Charlie Sheen’s new webshow, Sheen’s Korner, was the highest rated show in America last night.

Sheen’s show started with fart noises and endless references to “winning” – and ended with the troubled actor drinking from a sippy cup and repeating the word “duh.”

“This was just amazing, and so exciting,” a viewer with the Twitter handle Sean_Penn posted online.

The unforgettable 50-minute webcast, dubbed “Sheen’s Korner,” featured Sheen and a group of his misfit pals, including “goddess” girlfriend Natalie Kenly.

With more than 100 million  viewers tuning in, the former “Two and a Half Men” star opened the show with a “big shout-out” to his children. “Daddy loves you, and if you’re watching, tell mom to leave the room,” said Sheen, wearing a black hat and black T-shirt with a neon dollar sign. “It’s on.”

Much of what he said afterward was sheer brilliance. In one of his few moments of clarity, Sheen revealed that he got the word “Winning” tattooed on his left wrist.

“Guess what we were doing all day, every second of the day? Winning,” Sheen proudly stated..

Sheen also took a moment to deliver a message to porn star Rachel Oberlin – the actor’s other live-in lady, who recently left his Beverly Hills mansion.

“She had to go take care of some business,” Sheen said. “We love you. We miss you.”

In an especially powerful segment, Sheen addressed the recent scandal at Brigham Young University, where a basketball star was booted from the team after he admitted having sex with his girlfriend. “Dude, you knew the rules going in,” Sheen said.

The actor also devoted another amazing segment to people he said “wish they were me forever.”

On the list were Dr. Drew Pinsky and Nancy Grace. “How Grace exists in your name, I’m really confused by,” Sheen said.

Viewership increased every minute as the webcast on the site Ustream.tv.

NEW YORK – Lorne Michaels announced that Saturday Night Live’s 2011 season, its 36th, will be the sketch comedy show’s final season.

Michaels, the show’s creator and head producer, cited lack of funds, a diminishing fan-base, and the expansion of websites like Hulu and YouTube as primary reasons for the show’s cancellation.

“There’s no competing with the internet,” said Michaels to a group of reporters outside his New York office. “People would much rather watch YouTube clips on their computers than tune into a real live television show.”

“It’s sad,” added Michaels, “ but the people who call themselves ‘fans’ of the show by watching it online are actually the ones putting us out of business.”

Saturday Night Live, once a mainstay of NBC’s Saturday night line-up, received abysmally low ratings for the past five seasons, prompting NBC executives to put pressure on the show’s producers to boost viewership and broaden its fan-base. In June of 2006, NBC executive Steve Burke threatened to pull the sketch comedy show off the air if it couldn’t increase its Nielsen ratings in five years.

“I saw that the show was headed down the tubes five years ago,” Burke, “and it’s been a financial burden ever since. My only regret is not pulling the plug sooner.”

Saturday Night Live premiered on October 11th 1975 on NBC Universal.  Here’s the original cast:

Now in its 36th season, the show is often accused by critics as having “lost its edge” in terms of comedic quality and mass appeal.  Here’s the current cast:

“SNL isn’t as funny as it used to be,” said Ray Colomb, a stand-up comedian in New York. “I don’t know whether it’s the writing or the acting or both, but the show just isn’t the same as when Dan Akroyd and Chevy Chase use to hang at 30 Rock.”

Others cited the fact that the sketches seem to go on long past they are funny.  “They need a kill switch,” said Moses Johnson, another stand-up.

Yet despite the overwhelming criticism, some fans see no reason to cancel the show because of a few lackluster seasons.

“Saturday Night Live was an iconic television show,” said Gary Longman, a Boston area television critic. “It was an American tradition. It launched so many careers and inspired so many great movies. I’ll be sad to see it go.”

The last episode of Saturday Night Live will air on Saturday, May 14th, at 7:30 pm. A three-hour “farewell” special, the episode will feature hosts Alec Baldwin, Steve Martin, and John Goodman, as well as musical guests Lil’ Wayne, Coldplay, and U2.

MALIBU, CA — Veteran television and film actress, Betty White, was arrested in L.A. for public lewdness.

Just days after her 89th birthday, veteran television and film actress, Betty White, was arrested by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies for public lewdness. The Sheriff’s Department received multiple calls Friday morning from residents and beachgoers with complaints of a semi-nude woman dancing at Point Dume State Beach. Deputies arrived at 10:40 a.m. to find the topless Ms. White practicing Tai Chi, surrounded by curious onlookers.

When approached, the actress seemed to awaken from a trance-like state, startled by the crowd around her. “Apparently she thought she was at Pirate’s Cove, a popular spot for nude sunbathers back in the eighties,” said deputy Lee Searles. “I can understand an elderly person getting disoriented like that, but public nudity has been against the law in L.A. County for years.”

When Ms. White was informed of the anti-nudity ordinance, she reportedly made no effort to cover herself and, instead, removed her Spanx bottoms and incited the crowd to disrobe in an act of civil disobedience. “She was going on about how the human body is a work of art and should be celebrated,” said Laura Torres, who was vacationing with her family from Pleasantville, Michigan. “I was appalled and embarrassed. My boys are home-schooled, so I was hoping they wouldn’t see anything like this until they were well into college.”

Other witnesses were inspired by the feisty octogenarian’s call to action. UCLA sophomore Geoff Beauchamp said, “My buddy and I were ready to get naked, but more cops started coming, so we chilled out.” Officers on the scene said that, other than a few catcalls and lots of picture-taking, the crowd was well-behaved. As Ms. White was lead away in handcuffs, two female students were cited for flashing their breasts in support of the multiple Emmy winner.

Industry insiders speculate as to whether or not the event was staged to promote White’s comedy series, “Hot in Cleveland” which airs on TV Land. Producer Lou Fleishman who worked with White on NBC’s “The Golden Girls” said, “Betty’s a team player and a real trooper. She’ll do whatever it takes to promote a show. Unfortunately, I think some young exec probably took advantage of her enthusiasm.” But others insist that this is the real Betty White. Rachel Dratch, who performed on last season’s episode of “Saturday Night Live” that White hosted said, “I can totally see Betty doing that. She was braless at most of the rehearsals and did some crazy stuff at the after party. I’ve got the pictures to prove it.”

Regarding any photos or videos taken by onlookers at the arrest scene, Stan Evanston, Ms. White’s longtime attorney, has an ominous warning. “If any compromising footage of my client ends up on YouTube or any other website, we will pursue the persons responsible with extreme zeal. You don’t f— with Betty White.”

Bat Boy is a BIG, BIG fan of Tina Fey.  She is doing a LIVE broadcast of her hit sitcom 30 Rock tonight and Bat Boy intends to show up and give her the WWN Sexiest Woman Alive award in person.  Bat Boy is disgusted that Minka Kelly got the honor from Esquire.

Why  did WWN choose Tina Fey?  She’s beautiful, smart, funny.  End of story.   That makes her the sexiest women alive and sexier than most dead women as well.

NEW YORK, NY – Katy Perry decided to poke a little fun in the direction of Sesame Street!

Katy Perry’s hotness ended up being a problem when it came to Sesame Street. A recent appearance on the children’s show was met with a good amount of criticism. Perry’s assets were apparently displayed too prominently – not the image that kid’s should be exposed to. Perry’s skit with Sesame Street never made it to TV and the pop singer discovered how to not get onto Sesame Street.

Well, Perry’s hotness would not be tamed for too long. She appeared on this weekend’s Saturday Night Live.  – sporting an Elmo T-shirt that has never been happier to be worn. Perry was the musical guest, but appeared in a skit in which she mocked Sesame Street. The sexy singer wore a very low cut Elmo T-shirt – showing the type of cleavage that got her booted from the children’s show.

NEW YORK, NY – Betty White is like wine and gets better with age, well so to speak. She’s set to host Saturday Night Live!

Betty White vaulted back into the spotlight with her cameo in a Snickers commercial that launched during the Super Bowl. In it, a bunch of guys are playing football in the park and Betty White assumes the role of a guy that just doesn’t have it. The point of the commercial was that you’re not yourself when you’re hungry.

Well White has parlayed that commercial into hosting Saturday Night Live. Better yet, fans of White have used that commercial to get her on the show. The 88-year-old actress will host SNL on May 8th, Mother’s Day weekend.

“I can’t think of a better way to spend Mother’s Day weekend than with Betty White,” Lorne Michaels, creator and executive producer of SNL said.

The news of her hosting on Mother’s Day is somewhat ironic as speculation has began to arise that Betty White is actually pregnant. The news hasn’t been confirmed but Weekly World News first broke the news of her tryst with the Jonas brothers. If any more news comes about on the matter, WWN will be sure to report it first. Until then, we can only wait for what is sure to be a memorable SNL.

NEW YORK, NY – Jenny from the block hopped on the 6 train and hosted Saturday Night Live this past weekend!

With the Olympics close to over, SNL returned from its winter hiatus. Among its sketches was one poking fun at the “We Are the World 25 For Haiti” single, headlined by guest host Jennifer Lopez.

“Recently, the music world came together to record ‘We Are the World 2,’ a song to raise awareness of the Haiti earthquake disaster; sadly, the song itself was a disaster,” said Kenan Thompson playing the role of Quincy Jones.” He then added that the new version recruited a “sloppy mess of half-famous Brandos,” introducing “We Are the World 3: Raising Awareness of the ‘We Are the World 2′ Disaster.”

Lopez assumed the role of Rihanna and scored points for her humorous and scathing portrayal. Lopez added Rihanna’s trademark “ays” and “ella-ella-ay-ay” after every line. The rest of the SNL cast members assumed the role’s of Gwen Stefani, Adam Lambert, Willie Nelson, David Crosby, Lady Gaga, Shakira and several others.
