LONDON –  Weekly World News is in talks to acquire Rupert Murdoch’s News of the World.

Rupert Murdoch is in talks with WWN’s Neil McGinnis to sell the shuttered London tabloid to Weekly World News.   The  media in London is buzzing with the takeover rumors.  McGinnis flew to London last night to seal the deal.

“Weekly World News is the only news organization that is capable of bringing respectability back to News of the World,” Rupert Murdoch told BBC News.  ”We think WWN can revive the paper and make it the storied news gathering organization that it once was.”

Rupert Murdoch shut down the News of the World last week amid the paper’s phone-hacking scandal.

As allegations multiplied that its journalists hacked the voicemails of thousands of people, from child murder victims to the families of Britain’s war dead, the tabloid hemorrhaged advertising, alienated millions of readers and posed a growing threat to Murdoch’s hopes of buying broadcaster BSkyB.

Ergo, News of the World was shut down.  And now… WWN is making a move to takeover.

Praising a fine muck-raking tradition at the paper, which his father bought in 1969, James Murdoch wrote in a statement to stunned staff that the explosion of a long-running scandal over phone hacking by journalists had made the paper unviable.

News of the World was a national tabloid newspaper published in the United Kingdom from 1843 to 2011, printing its last edition on July 10th

It was originally established as a broadsheet by John Browne Bell, the Bells sold to Lascelles Carr in 1891; in 1969 it was bought from the Carrs by Rupert Murdoch’s media firm News Ltd. Reorganized into News International, itself a subsidiary of News Corporation, it was transformed into a tabloid in 1984. News of the World was the Sunday sister paper of The Sun.  The newspaper concentrated on celebrity-based scoops and populist news. Its fondness for sex scandals gained it the nicknames “News of the Screws” and “Screws of the World”. 

It had a reputation for exposing national or local celebrities as drug users, sex freaks or criminals, setting up insiders and journalists in disguise to provide either video or photographic evidence, and phone hacking in ongoing police investigations.

Murdoch said that McGinnis of WWN was the “toughest negotiator” I’ve ever met.   WWN plans on sending over a staff of 10 to replace the 200 people formerly employed by News of the World.

A video  showing a “UFO mothership” and a “fleet” of alien spacecraft has gone viral.

“UFO Mothership & Fleet Over London” has been viewed almost a million times after being uploaded on June 26 and is ranked second on YouTube’s “most watched today charts.”

The video begins with shaky footage caused by what can be assumed to be the person behind the camera running down the street to where a group of people stand filming the sky on their mobiles. The camera then turns upwards, where three shining dots can be seen passing through the sky.

The circular dots then return several times before a similar larger shape appears, hovers for a short while then disappears at speed. In the background a man can be heard saying “There’s a UFO up there.”

The video was first uploaded June 24 by YouTube user alymc01, who despite being a member since 2007 appears to only have this video and a duplicate of it on his or her channel; the video that has gone viral is a re-post of that footage by user EllasVirgo.

The video has received some mainstream press coverage in addition to mentions on blogs specializing in UFOs. While no marketing company has yet come forward to claim responsibility for the footage, a number of similar videos have appeared on YouTube over the past few days, including

LONDON – Thousands of bees that were part of a million dollar research project have been stolen!

The British black bees, worth between $6,000 and $15,000 each were taken from the grounds of the a British Hospital in Newell on Sunday morning.

They were contained in four hives and were being used in a £2m neuroscience study at Dundee University.

The lead researcher on the project, Dr Chris Connolly, said the thieves must have known how to handle bees.

“It is very disheartening that this has happened and, whilst we are still taking stock of the full implications if the bees are not returned, this theft will undoubtedly hamper our research,” Dr Connolly said.

“The bees were there when I arrived at work on Sunday morning but were absent when I went to work on them 20 minutes later.

“Two middle-aged men in a white van were seen pulling up beside the hives at this time and clearly whoever did this knows what they were doing and how to handle bees.”

“Important research,” Dr Connolly said the bees were unique and should be easy to identify.

It is not known whether they were stolen for their breeding potential or for another reason.

The study was investigating the potential effect of pesticides on bee learning and health.

The scientist added: “This is very important research given the decline in honeybee numbers so I would urge anyone with information to get in touch with the police.”

The cedar wood hives, made by Thorne, were taken from the grassy area to the south of the East Block at Ninewells Hospital.

Tayside Police said they were keen to trace a white box van and two men that were seen in the area some time before 1000 BST on Sunday.

One of the men was wearing a bonnet.

LONDON – The world has a new “Loudest Cat” champion!

The award for the loudest purr by a domestic cat goes to – Smokey!

Guinness says the gray-and-white tabby earned her place with record-setting 67.7 decibels. In a video on the cat’s website, the 12-year-old, ordinary-size feline purrs with a sound akin to the cooing of an angry dove.

Smokey first rose to prominence in February, when her owner, Ruth Adams, ran a local competition for the most powerful purr. A community college recorded the purr and submitted it to Guinness.

Guinness says the loudest animal sounds are the low-frequency pulses made by blue whales and fin whales when they communicate with each other – sounds that reach 188 decibels. By comparison, a lawnmower is 90 decibels.

WASHINGTON – Doctors have confirmed that Barack Obama has had brain surgery.

For the last three years a many curious citizens have wondered about the long scar which goes up the side of Barack Obama head and over his crown.

There were rumors that claimed that they are scars that you would see on someone who has had brain surgery. But without medical records (along with his school records and birth certificate) no one seems to be able to provide an answer as to the cause of the mystery scars.

Until now.  Dr. Thomas Yablonski, a top neurologist at Houston’s The Methodist Hospital, carefully. examined high-resolution photographs and high-powered, long-distance brain scans.  His conclusion:  President Barack Obama has had brain surgery. “I’m not sure exactly what the procedure was, but that scar clearly indicates a common incision made into the brain.,” said Dr. Yablonski.

Sarah Palin has already jumped on this issue. “Whatever happened to create that scar, it was clearly something serious. Was it a brain operation? Has it affected his thinking?  I think it has,” said Palin.

“I think someone like George Soros implanted a brain chip in the President’s skull and his controlling his thoughts and actions,” said Glenn Beck on his Fox show on Friday.”

Donald Trump had this to say about the issue.  “No one is allowed to see his birth certificate.  And nobody is allowed to see his medical records.  But I have people down in Washington investigating this issue.  You can’t believe what they will find.”

Many inside are speculating that whatever the surgery was for, it y might explain why the President gets lost speaking without a teleprompter, and posted a video of Obama struggling through a speech, repeating his words and getting lost mid-sentence.

A spokeswoman from the White House said they were not willing to comment on Obama’s brain surgery, saying they were ‘ridiculous’.

But many neurosurgeons across the U.S. and around the world are confirming what Dr. Yablonski has stated:  Obama had some kind of brain surgery.

Without medical records or an admission from the White House, the public may never know the answer to the question, along with the contents of his birth certificate.

Ice cream parlors and grocery stores across the U.S. will begin selling ice cream made from breast milk.  It’s organic!

Wal-Mart, Costco, Kroger,  Wal-Mart are all following the lead of Whole Foods, which is the first chain store to offer ice cream made from the breast milk of nursing mothers.

The breast milk concoction, called the “Baby Gaga,” will be available in grocery stores across America beginning on March 1st.

“Baby Gaga” was invented by  Matt O’Connor (from London).  He is confident that his take on the “miracle of motherhood” – which is priced at  ($23 per pint) will be a hit with the American public.

The breast milk was provided by mothers who answered an advertisement on online mothers’ forum Mumsnet.

Molly Chambers, 33, from Chicago was one of 397 women who donated milk to the ice cream production company – Mammary Milk Inc.

Chambers works with women who have problems breast-feeding their babies. She said she believes that if adults realized how tasty breast milk actually is, then new mothers would be more willing to breast-feed their own newborns.

“What could be more natural than fresh, mother’s milk in an ice cream? And for me it’s a recession beater too — what’s the harm in using my assets for a bit of extra cash,” Chambers said in a statement.

“I tried the product for the first time today — it’s very nice, it really melts in the mouth,” said Tom Dooley, a fireman from St. Louis.

The Baby Gaga recipe blends breast milk with Madagascan vanilla pods and lemon zest, which is then churned into ice cream.

O’Connor said the Baby Gaga was just one of a dozen radical new flavors at the shop.

“Some people will hear about it and go, ‘yuck’ but actually it’s pure, organic, free-range and totally natural,” he said. “I had a Baby Gaga just this morning and I feel great.”

So, go out and get a taste of breast milk.   It’s yummy!…

LONDON – British women are so desperate for bigger bottoms that they are now taking “Booty Pills” to help out.

Thousands of British women are so desperate for a bigger bottom they are risking their lives by taking pills designed to fatten up chickens.

The poultry tablets are packed with hormones that have been linked to breast cancer and liver problems in humans.

Originally they were used by farmers to bulk up chickens – but it was discovered that when taken by women they enhance the size of thighs, hips and bottom.

Now scores of online sites are also offering “herbal” versions of the tablets with names like Star Curves, Big Beautiful Butt Formula, and the most popular… Booty Pills.

They are featured on sites including Amazon, eBay and Facebook and are also advertised on reality TV star Kim Kardashian’s blog.

Kim Kardashian took to using the Booty Pills after she had an accident with her butt implants last year.

Makers of the herbal pills claim the capsules only contain exotic plant extracts which mimic the effect of fat-building hormones.

Medical experts have warned many of the pills are unregulated and those who take them cannot be sure what they contain.

The trend for taking the tablets began in Jamaica in the 1990s.

LONDON -  Renowned climate scientist predicts a new ice age is on the way!

Scientists, climatologists and the mayor of London are all in agreement – the cold snap in Europe is going to get worse, much worse.  A new ice age is underway.

According to Piers Corbyn, a British scientist who  gets the climate right about 85 per cent of the time, were absolutely entering a new ice age.  Serious business people – notably in farming – are starting to invest in his forecasts.

Corbyn, an astrophysicist,  gets it right again and again.

In November, Corbyn said it would be the coldest for 100 years. He was correct.  He predicted a snowy December for Europe, and he put his own money on a white Christmas for most of the U.S. – something that no one, not even AccuWeather had predicted.

How does he do it?

He looks at the flow of particles from the Sun, and how they interact with the upper atmosphere, especially air currents such as the jet stream, and he looks at how the Moon and other factors influence those streaming particles.

He takes a snapshot of what the Sun is doing at any given moment, and then he looks back at the record to see when it last did something similar. Then he checks what the weather was like on Earth at the time – and he makes a prophecy.

Corbyn believes that the last three winters are a harbinger of a mini ice age that could be upon us by 2015, and that it could start to be colder than at any time in the last 500 years. He believes there is also a chance that full-blow ice age is cyclically overdue and might occur by 2020.

What about global warming?  Well,  anthropogenic global warming ignores the role of the Sun.  Corbyn believes that all that matters is the mood of the star that gives life to the world? The Sun is incomparably vaster and more powerful than any work of man. We are forged from a few clods of solar dust. The Sun powers every plant and form of life, and one day the Sun will turn into a red giant and engulf us all.

In the meantime, we are all going to freeze.

LONDON – Pamela Anderson spoke to butchers over the weekend, showing off her meat.

Pamela Anderson, a 43-year-old mother and former star of Baywatch, was in London to speak on behalf of Peta (People for the Ethical Treatment for Animals) and to promote her new “butcher poster.”   In the poster, Anderson is  divided into chunks of meat like breast and ribs.  She is wearing nothing but a teensy tiny bikini.

“I wanted to talk about my flesh and meat.  This butcher ad with me in a bikini – really draws attention to my best parts.  I think it’s clear that I ‘m Grade A meat.”

Pamela Anderson wants to encourage people to become vegetarians, and also to buy more pictures of her in bikinis.  “I think if people ate less meat and bought more pictures of me naked, the world would be a better place.”

The poster proclaims: “All animals have the same body parts, but mine are hotter.”

Dressed in a sky blue shirt-waisted Vivienne Westwood dress cinched with a red belt and wearing gold stiletos, Anderson was all smiles as she proudly posed alongside the display .

Anderson spent the majority of her time on Baywatch wearing a tiny red bikini, had no problem undertaking the campaign and said she believed the poster’s message was an important one.   She said: “The biggest issue that I like to talk about is how my breasts are still as fabulous as they ever were.  And I think my legs are getting better with age.”

I want to talk about the flesh part of it all, so we thought this would be a great parody – the butcher ad and being in a bikini – drawing attention to it and realizing that we all have the same parts.”

LONDON – The Dracula Fish, who once attacked women in Eastern Europe, has returned!

Detectives reported last night that the Dracula Fish,  who hasn’t been seen anywhere in the world in over fifty years, has been attacking women in the Hyde Park area of London.

The Dracula Fish is a vampire fish:  that is half-human, half-fish.   He is a translucent fish that can exist outside water only at night.  The Dracula Fish first appeared in Romania in the early 1950s, but has not been seen since.  The photographs in this article are from the 1950s.

“We have several dozen women that have been bitten in Hyde Park. They all describe the perpetrator the same way – a man with a fish head, a hot male body, and who bites and sucks their blood,” said Detective Ian Frax of Scotland Yard.”

“We’ve been working on the case for about a year now.  We wanted to make sure that the Dracula Fish did in fact exist and now we have proof.  We’ve analyzed the bite marks and saliva found on the victims and matched the DNA to evidence found in the attacks in Romania in the 1950s,” said Flax. ” It is our duty to alert Londoners that the Dracula Fish is back and women must be alert.”

The Dracula Fish is six feet tall, weighs 180 pounds.  His head is large – about 15 inches high and about 24 inches around. The fish head looks harmless and sweet when its mouth is closed, but it has fangs on both the top and bottom of its jaw.  The teeth are very sharp.

The Dracula Fish comes into London at night and then takes a train back to the sea for the morning.  He sleeps in a coffin at the bottom of the sea.  Here’s a close-up picture of the Dracula Fish in its coffin in 1955.

Women are advised to stay far away from the Dracula Fish.  “The danger is that the Dracula Fish is quite charming.  Even though he has a fish head, women seemed to be drawn to him,” said Frax.

“He was a real gentleman.  The nicest man I’ve met in years,”  said Fiona Koch, who was bitten several times by the Dracula Fish on October 5th.  “I thought he was going to kiss me, actually I was hoping he was going to kiss me and then… he bit me.  It was terrifying, but I did love it in a way.”

“That’s the danger,” said Frax.  “Women fall for his charm and then are bitten.  It’s very dangerous.”

Women who are bitten do NOT turn into a vampire or a fish.  They just suffer from headaches and depression for several months.  “He puts a spell on them.  Often after they are bitten, they go back to Hyde Park looking for him.”‘

Women, please, if you see the Dracula Fish, do not approach… there are other fish in the sea.
