LAS  VEGAS – Heidi Klum has chosen her Halloween costume – she’s going as Bat Boy!

Heidi Klum has long been a fan of Bat Boy and was excited to announce that her Halloween costume for parties she is hosting in New York and Las Vegas will be – Bat Boy!

Alex Rees broke the story that the supermodel, and star of Project Runway, thought that Bat Boy represented “style”, “innovation” and “class.” Klum told WWN that she feels Bat Boy might represent the future of fashion.

It even got a mention in New York magazine.

Sources close to Bat Boy say that he has not decided whether he will attend the party in Las Vegas.  ”He’s waiting for Heidi to contact him directly and discuss how best to handle the Halloween events,” said the source.

Heidi did her best to look like Bat Boy.  Fans of Project Runway have been asked to weigh in on how successful Heidi was in designing her Bat Boy costume.  Did she succeed?

The most popular costume this Halloween is – Casey Anthony. BUT with Heidi Klum throwing her support behind Bat Boy, the mutant may soon become the most popular costume for 2011.   It would not be the first year he has been in the #1 slot for Halloween costumes.

Bat Boy was the number one Halloween costume in 1996, 1998, 2002-04, 2007 and 2009.

LAS VEGAS – Jerry Lewis, the former host of the MDA telethon was kidnapped last night.

This year’s Muscular Dystrophy Telethon has gotten even more bizarre.  Jerry Lewis, who was “relieved” or his duties as host – or was fired, or “retired” – was kidnapped last night soon after he arrived in Las Vegas.

There was no ransom requested yet, but sources close the Lewis family say that the MDA “thugs” want to keep Jerry Lewis “quiet” until after the Telethon is over.

What appeared to be the last and best chance for Jerry Lewis to participate in this weekend’s MDA Telethon unraveled on Saturday. Musicians who had been hired to perform with Lewis on Thursday night for a video clip to be recorded were informed that the session had been canceled.

This year’s MDA Telethon airs live from Las Vegas.

No official confirmation has yet been furnished by the MDA, South Point or Lewis himself as to his current status for this year’s show.

Lewis spokeswoman Candi Cazau was outraged at the kidnapping and said that Lewis had “no intention of interrupting the telecast.  He was dis-invited and he was going to respect their decision, no matter how foolish it was. But kidnapping him is beyond the pale.”

Las Vegas Police and the FBI are searching Las Vegas, Palm Springs and Los Angeles for Jerry Lewis..

In his most recent public appearance Aug. 20 at Red Rock Resort, where he received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Nevada Broadcasters Association, Lewis was in lively spirits and did not seem upset with the fact that he was cut from the MDA telectast.

“But behind the scenes, he was livid,” said a source close to Lewis.  “He vowed to take revenge, and I guess MDA felt that they needed to kidnap him, so he wouldn’t ruin the telecast.  I understand it.”

LAS VEGAS – O.J. Simpson has confessed to Oprah Winfrey that he murdered his former wife and Ron Goldman.

Oprah recently said that one of her regrets was never having gotten the former NFL football star to confess to the killing.

And it appears that her wish has now come true.

Simpson told Oprah in a jailhouse interview that he knifed ex-wife Nicole in self-defense.  The interview was taped and will be aired on Oprah’s OWN network.

Simpson is currently serving a nine-year sentence at Nevada’s Lovelock Correctional Center, after he was convicted of robbery and kidnapping in Las Vegas in October 2008 after a botched heist to retrieve his memorabilia, which he said was stolen by dealers.

He was acquitted in October 1995 of the murders of ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman despite huge amounts of evidence against him.

“Oprah has been in touch with O.J. for the past year,” a source told WWN.  “He finally agreed to an interview and she met him at the prison to get his confession.”

“He has always been a big fan of hers, but for a long time he was reluctant to say he did the crime or give the details of how it happened.”

According to the insider, Simpson decided to go through with the confession after he was contacted by one of Oprah’s producers.

Sources say he told Oprah during the interview: ” Yes, I did it. I killed Nicole, but it was in self-defense. She pulled a knife on me and I had to defend myself.”  Oprah insiders say O.J. goes on to give a full account of what happened on the night of the murders on June 12 1994.

The former couple had gotten into an argument after Nicole was said to have snubbed Simpson when he interrupted a meal she was having at a restaurant with their children.

“O.J. said he went home and kept getting angrier and angrier and worked himself into an absolute rage,” the source told WWN.

Simpson told Oprah he “didn’t like the way she treated me in front of the kids at the restaurant. I didn’t like that she was routinely having guys have sex with her at her condo with the kids there.

“I went over there to give her a piece of my mind,’ he was quoted as saying.

When he arrived and no one answered at the house, he started pounding on the door and shouting. The door allegedly then swung open and Nicole was standing there with a kitchen knife in her hand.

O.J. told Oprah, “she was yelling go away! Go away! And waving the knife around at me. At one point she was lunging at me with the knife and I was just trying to talk to her. Nicole stepped out of the apartment – slashing the knife in the air.

“I was in such a rage that something just snapped. I couldn’t take her constant taunting of me with other men or her using drugs and drinking while my kids were living with her. I went beserk.

‘”Before I knew what I was doing I took the knife away from Nicole and started slashing at her. I cut her over and over again until she was lifeless. I was shocked at my own anger – I had killed the woman I had loved for so long.”

O.J. went on to tell Oprah he also knifed Ron Goldman in self-defense as he tried to attack Simpson when he turned up at the home soon after and spotted Nicole’s body on the floor.

The shamed NFL star was acquitted on October 3, 1995 of stabbing to death his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman after one of the most famous trials in modern history.

The interview is set to air in September.

LAS VEGAS — Physicist Stephen Hawking has signed on to be a judge at the 2011 Miss USA Pageant next month.

Hawking appears delighted by the invitation. He told reporters outside of his University of Cambridge office, “This is as close as I’ll get to an afterlife.”

Officials at the Miss USA Organization, were impressed by Hawking’s extensive research in cosmology and offered him a spot on the coveted judging roster.

Veronica Jennings, publicity manager for the Trump Organization, shared the news at a news conference at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on Monday. “Like Mr. Hawking, we believe there is a science to beauty. We plan to seat him next to Johnny Weir.”

Vegas oddsmakers predict Hawking will go for either Miss Vermont or Miss Massachusetts.

According to Hawking’s web site, beauty is expressed mathematically as a ratio of 1.618.

LAS  VEGAS -  A college student is suing a Las Vegas Escort agency after he was forced to have sex with a hooker he paid for.

Hubert Blackman of New York wants his $275 back, and is suing Las Vegas Exclusive Personals for $1.8 million dollars because the prostitute he paid for performed a sex act on him.

He was traumatized by the distress caused by the “tragic event.”

The most surprising part of the whole story is that the Escort turned out to be none other than Eliot Spitzer’s favorite call girl, Ashley Dupre.

Blackman was vacationing in Vegas in December when he ordered a stripper to come to his hotel room. Ashley Dupre, who has had a hard time putting her life together after the Spitzer scandal, was working for the Escort agency and arrived at Blackman’s room – and immediately got down to business.

Dupre performed a $155 lap dance and then $120 sex act.  Blackman was shocked that she performed the sex act on him – even though he paid for it.

Dupre left right after the sex act.  Blackman couldn’t get to sleep at all – he was a wreck.

The next morning, he called Las Vegas Exclusive Personals to demand his money back, saying he was dissatisfied because Dupre didn’t stay for the promised one hour, didn’t “cuddle me” and “violated me” by raping me.

“I just wanted a lap dance and she… went all the way with me.  I was raped!’

Blackman also told the company he was incapable of making an informed agreement with the stripper because he was drunk at the time.  “She took advantage of my hot, young body and had her way with me, and then made me pay her for doing it.”

“I was raped and robbed,” Blackman said.

When the company refused to refund Blackman’s money, he called the cops, who threatened to bust him for prostitution and asked for Dupre’s phone number.  “We want to be raped, too,”  said Las Vegas Police Captain John Girardi.

Blackman said he knew prostitution was illegal in Vegas and would never have consented to having sex with a prostitute, no matter how much he paid her.

LAS VEGAS – Early voting has assured victory for Harry Reid in next week’s midterm elections.

Election workers in Nevada, primarily members of the Service Employees International Union, have been counting the early votes and have announced that Harry Reid has defeated Sharron Angle to keep his seat in the Senate.  They have certified his victory.  It’s official.

This year has seen a large percentage of voters going to the polls early in Nevada.  In 2008, 571,000 Nevadans voted in the election.  This year, SEIU, reports that 300,000 voters in Nevada have voted early and that 58% of those votes have been for Harry Reid.   This makes it virtually impossible for Sharron Angle to overcome Reid’s lead next week.

There have been numerous voter fraud reports in the last week coming out of Nevada.  In particular, a number of early votes said that when they went into the voting machine Harry Reid’s name was already checked and they couldn’t change it.

“Nonsense,” said Sal Gravado of SEIU.  “We’ve checked and re-checked those machines. They are working fine.”

There were also reports that there were over 50,000 votes from illegal immigrants, many of whom don’t even live in Nevada.  “We can’t disenfranchise illegal immigrants. They have the same rights as all Americans, and we want them to vote,” said a representative for Harry Reid.

Nevada election officials are considering cancelling next week’s election.  “We might not need the “late voters” to vote at all.  Senator Reid is a shoo-in, it’s best if he go back to work and get busy fundamentally changing our country,” said Reid aide William Workman.

President Obama flew to Nevada last night for the a victory party for Harry Reid:

“All the pundits were predicting that Harry was going to lose, but I knew he would win, and I made sure it happened,” said President Obama to a massive crowd of SEIU workers.  “Now, we just gotta get the Republicans to sit quietly in the back of the car, put them in a baby seat and shove  bottles of pablum in their mouths.  I’m going to drive this country and I don’t need any more whining from the babies in the back.”

Republicans were furious that Nevada election officials already certified Reid as the winner.   “If they keep this up, I’m going to throw them out of the car,” said Obama.  “And then when they’re out of the car, I’m going to run them over – several times.  This is MY car.”

Harry Reid was happy to be declared the winner.  “It just goes to show you that we know how to get things done in Nevada.   Las Vegas has a long history of getting things done the right way… and they did it again.

LAS VEGAS -  In a new national trend, women across America are marrying themselves.

The Little White  Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas is reporting that women have been making arrangements to marry themselves in small ceremonies.   Many other churches, synagogues and town halls across the country are also reporting that more and more women are showing up to…  marry themselves.

“It’s too hard to find a man, a good man.  Most of them are immature losers,” said Natalie Kim.  “I wanted to get married, have a party and invite my friends.  So I did.”   Kim went on to say, “I felt pressure to settle down, and realized that I would never be able to love a man as much as I love myself.”

Kim also said that she was better in bed “by myself” than with any man she’d ever been with.  “They don’t know how to satisfy me, like I do.”    Kim, like many women, feel that men are becoming less necessary.  Kim plans to start a family in about a year – “after I spend time getting to really know myself” – and she doesn’t need a man for that either.  “I bought enough sperm last week, to have a hundred babies.  But, I’ll probably just have two.”

Kim is planning on taking a solo honeymoon to Italy.  “They have great bathtubs in Italy.  I’ll be spending a lot of time with myself in those bathtubs,”  she said with a coy smile.

LAS VEGAS -  Michael Bolton announced today that he is running for President of the United States in 2012.

Singer-songwriter, Michael Bolton, told reporters in Las Vegas that he is running for President of the United States in 2012.   “It’s time  we put a singer in the White House.  I want to teach the whole world to sing – in perfect harmony.”

Bolton had been hinting to his audiences  in recent weeks, that he was considering a potential presidential bid in 2012.  The half-filled houses thought his comments were just part of his act, but he was serious.  “I got kicked off Dancing With the Stars in the second week, so I know what it’s like to feel pain, loss, suffering. I can relate to the common person.  I don’t want anybody to get kicked off anything.  And I promise that won’t happen when I’m President.”

The fifty-seven-year-old singer, who was born in Connecticut, has never voted in his life – not in any local, city or national elections.  “I thought it was time I get involved.    I don’t write a song unless I think it’s going to be a number one hit and I’m not going to enter politics unless I think I can be number one:  President.”

At the press conference today,  Bolton cited what he described as President Obama’s failures – “he can’t sing a note.” He said that he has the limited knowledge and limited experience necessary to do limited harm to the country.  “I just want to sing, so I won’t be pushing any agenda.  I just want to keep things as they are and write a few good songs while I’m in the White House.”

Does Bolton really think he can win?  “Absolutely.   If I sing love songs on the campaign trail, I know I’ll get the woman vote – and some women.”

Political expert, Larry Sabato of the University of Virginia, said that Bolton has a good chance to win.  “There’s a paradigm shift in national politics.  All the old rules are out the window.  Nobody can predict who will win anymore.   It’s a crazy to think that Bolton could win, but in today’s political climate, anything is possible.”

Bolton may have a tough time getting the youth vote, especially since Eminem made this comment.  “If Michael Bolton runs for President, I’m gonna to run for Presidential Assassin.  I can’t stand listening to his sh*t.”

There’s a lot of people who agree with Eminem, but never doubt a crooner.

LAS VEGAS – For the last week, aliens have been attacking Las Vegas with Death Rays! Guests at several hotels in Las Vegas have been receiving severe burns from  ’death rays’ that have been reigning down during the day – and night (death bolts).

The death rays were most noticeable at the new Vdara Hotel, because it has a concave shape and the rays are easy to detect.  Over a hundred guests got third-degree burns from the death rays and three guests have died.

At night the death rays turn into death bolts, which are also burning guests and tourists.  The FBI and local authorities have not released an official explanation about the death rays.  They have only offered up this diagram depicting the angle of the rays that have hit the Vdara Hotel:

There are rumors that the death rays are merely sun rays that are being reflected off the glass of the Vdara Hotel, but WWN has learned the truth from our FBI sources:

Aliens are attacking Las Vegas.

“It makes sense. The U.N. just announced plans to form a panel to greet the aliens when they make their full-scale invasion in the near future.   The aliens are moral beings, and the fact that they are striking at Las Vegas first is no surprise,” said UFO expert Shannon Begley.

Gamblers and hedonists are determined to stay in Vegas and continue their debauchery  They are wearing protective clothing and staying indoors.  But, the rays are attacking guests through windows, doors and in some case through the walls.

Chicago attorney Bill Corsale felt the power of the dangerous ray first hand.  ”I was sipping my mojito one second and in the next I was looking at major chemical burns on my hand.  I won’t be able to use that hand again… and I am definitely never coming to Vegas again.”

‘Within 30 seconds, the back of my legs were burning. My first though was, “This is the apocalypse.  God isn’t happy with man and is taking his revenge,” said Cynthia Rosen.

Gordon Asher, a spokesman for MGM Resorts, which owns the Vdara hotel, tried to downplay the death rays, but he was seen walking through the hotel with military officers, FBI agents and members of NASA

“If Las Vegas cleans up its act, gets rid of some of the seedier elements of the town and makes it a more family-friendly, alien-friendly environment, then the aliens will no-doubt stop their attack.  They just want it to be a more wholesome place,” said Langston Haworth, an expert on alien life forms.  ”Aliens want the best for humans and they want Las Vegas to thrive again.”

However, there were some aliens seen playing craps at the Venetian Hotel.  Hmmm…. maybe they just want the place to themselves.

LAS VEGAS -  DJ Alien brought the house down at the Palms Hotel in Las Vegas on Sunday.

DJ Liza Q  was working her magic at Rain nightclub at the top of the Palms Hotel, a mile off the strip in Las Vegas, when a man who she thought was dressed up like an alien pushed her aside and took over the DJ duties.  “I just thought he was just another dude dressed up for the night, ” said DJ Liza Q.  “But that wasn’t the case at all.”

Rain typically has people in weird costumes, black lights, glow sticks dancing on the floor.  But this alien was real… there was no costume.  He just started spinning records in the dark, sexy night club.  The crowd seemed to go into a trance and everyone was dancing, everyone.”It was the craziest sh*t I’ve ever seen.  DJ Alien was tight!”, said Garrin McCrary.  “It started out with a booming bass, but then we all heard this real high-pitched sound and…that’s what took us all away.”

Later in the night, some club goers complained about sores in their abdomens and heads.  “I told my friends, that DJ Alien put a spell on us all and then had his buddies abduct us and do experiments on us. My butt is sore,” said Nick Roy.   He kept telling his friends he was the victim of an alien anal probe.

“Oh please, his butt is sore because he kept slamming it on the dance floor,” said Roy’s girlfriend, Vanessa.  “I think DJ Alien is just an alien that loves beats, loves to throw down.  He’s awesome.”

The manager of Rain nightclub confirmed that DJ Liza Q was pushed aside and that a man who looked like an alien took over, but they would not confirm or deny that DJ Alien is, in fact, an alien. “We keep our employee information confidential.”

Several people who were at the club are still hearing DJ Alien’s “music” several days later.  And Nick Roy still has a sore butt.
