Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren’s marriage has had many twists and turns.  But even their divorce attorneys were shocked to learn that they were recently spotted kissing while out in their Orlando neighborhood.

There are rumors that Elin has agreed to move back in with her cheating husband.  And the reconciled spouses are not being bashful about showing their love for one another.

An eyewitness, Janet Thompon, told reporters, “They were hugging and they were kissing right out in the open. Elin is certainly a lot more relaxed these days and so is he.”

Another inside source added “People in the neighborhood are getting used to seeing them together again. Perhaps they’ll make it after all.”

A little Tiger-Elin history.

Elin and Tiger met in 2001 at the British Open at Royal Lytham in England. Elin was working as an au pair to Jesper Parnevik, a Swedish golfer. On November 25, 2003, Tiger (27) proposed to Elin (23) in the South African Shamwari Game Reserve while they were on a romantic walk at sunset. They were there for a safari vacation and slept under the stars after the Presidents Cup.

On October 5, 2004 they were married. The ceremony itself was simple although the rest of the wedding preparations were elaborate and expensive. 500 red roses were imported for the wedding.

Their sunset wedding was held under a white-netted pagoda decorated with red roses on the 19th hole of the Sandy Lane Golf Resort in Barbados. Reportedly, Rev. Ricky Kirton was the officiant at their wedding. The exclusive resort is located on the west coast of the Caribbean locale. The wedding reportedly cost between $1.5 million — $2 million.

February1 19, 2010. Woods makes first appearance since the scandal broke, apologizing for “selfish and irresponsible” behavior in a statement televised around the world.

On August 23, 2010 Tiger and Elin are officially divorced.  Exactly one month later, it appears they are together again.

They have two children:   Sam Alexis Woods: Born 2007 and  Charlie Axel Woods: Born 2009.

WASHINGTON – The White House is ordering all schools in the United States to use the new official American basketball.

During the Easter Egg Roll festivities, the White House unveiled the new “official” American basketball.  President Obama reportedly designed the basketball himself.

President Obama also ran a basketball clinic for kids (and adults) at the White House basketball court, which he had built in 2009.

Everyone knows that basketball is President Obama’s favorite sport – no, it’s not golf – and he is doing everything he can to make it the official “America’s pastime”.

President Obama was a star player for USC in the 80s.

He then went on to star as a small forward for the Chicago Bulls.

He got hurt in a playoff game against the Knicks and was forced to retire and go into politics.  President Obama has reportedly said that he would rather be playing for the Lakers than President of the United Sates.  But, sometimes you can’t always get what you want…

President Barack Obama has agreed to play in the final two rounds of the Masters.

It will be the first time a sitting President (or any President) will compete in the Masters, but President Obama loves golf so much that he is willing to put aside his busy schedule and team up with Tiger Woods for two rounds of competitive golf.

“The President is confident that the other golfers will defer to him on the golf course and he is looking forward to wearing the green jacket on Sunday,” said a source in the White House.

President Obama has a 17 handicap, but he is still going to be placed at the top of the leader board.

“The President deserves to be recognized for his golf skills, he is entitled to a green jacket.  It’s his to lose.”

Sources in the White House said that he would be willing to share a small portion of the $1.44 million prize for the Masters with the other golfers.  ”The President believes in sharing his wealth and he will donate up to $20,000 to be divided all the other golfers participating in the Master.  ”He’s being very generous.”

President Obama has also ordered that women be allowed into Augusta.

“He doesn’t think the club should discriminate against women any more.  He has issued an Executive Order forbidding Augusta to ban women.

Augusta’s longstanding policy of not permitting women as members has upset women’s groups and Democrats for years, and the annual Masters tournament always brings fresh attention to the issue.

The White House is thrilled that the President is competing in the Masters and they will be rooting for him to win – even though they know that it’s rigged.

“The President won the Nobel Peace Prize without doing anything, so I guess this makes sense,” said a Republican in Congress.

MARTHA’S VINEYARD – President Obama has been interrupted so much on his vacation, he’s decided to extend it another week.

The President is on the seventh day of his nine-day vacation and because of major world events he’s had little rest and relaxation.  So, the President has decided to stay on Martha’s  vineyard another week.

“The President has had to deal with the financial crisis, the overthrow of the Gaddafi regime and the earthquake.  He’s had very little time to play the kind of golf he intended to on his vacation.  He had hoped to bring his handicap down to a 12, but he keeps getting interrupted,” said Jay Carney, the President’s spokesperson.  “He can’t solve ALL the world’s problems, unless his fully rested.”

“Barack is always working,” said Michelle.  “He needs some family time.  Some time to finish writing his new autobiography.”

Yesterday, the President handled two conference calls with his national security team over Libya, as well as calls to British Prime Minister David Cameron and French President Nicolas Sarkozy, in between his beaching, biking and book-reading.   “He wanted to watch “Jersey Shore” this week and he was interrupted with a jobs report.   He was disappointed,” said Carney.

White House counterterrorism czar John Brennan has been on the Vineyard to keep Obama personally up to date on all the international developments.

The President also monitored economic affairs, including the daily gyrations of the financial markets, while finding time to take first lady Michelle Obama out to dinner and socializing with friends.

For that, he can thank Brian Deese, the deputy director of the National Economic Council, who traveled up to the Vineyard to deliver daily briefings.

And  Obama led a conference call with a wide array of federal government officials to consider the latest challenge — a 5.8-magnitude earthquake that hit most of the East Coast, including the White House and the golf course he was playing at the time.

So, when does he get a chance to rest?

“The President has been steering the economy and solving major conflicts in the Mideast.  The President is getting comfortable up here,” said Carney.  “He’d prefer to work up here. He thinks  he can play golf and solve the Arab-Israeli conflict at the same time.  He’s a world-class multi-tasker.”

Today the president is dealing with hurricane Irene and helping to solve the problem of cracks in the Washington monument.

Rumors are that the President wants to knock down the monument and perhaps put up an Obama monument instead.  “The President feels it would be the appropriate time to build a new monument in Washington.”

So, Air Force One will stay on Martha’s Vineyard for at least another week.   When a reporter shouted a question to Obama about it this morning, the President simply yelled back -

“Fore!”

LA JOLLA, CA — Controversial new rules aim to transform golf into a real sport

Tiger Woods unveiled his retooled swing at last weekend’s Farmer’s Insurance Open at Torrey Pines, but it wasn’t enough to improve his game or the ratings of professional golf on television. On the verge of negotiating new contracts with broadcast networks, PGA Tour officials have persuaded the USGA to put new rules on the fast track in the hopes of making golf more watchable.

PGA Tour commissioner, Tim Finchem, said the changes give golf a testosterone boost, adding the speed of NBA basketball and the aggression of NFL football. To position the improved game in the same class as these elite sports, its name will be upgraded to “Golfball.”

The rules will go into effect April 7 at the Master’s Tournament—now dubbed, “The Ultimate Master’s Tournament”—at Augusta National Golf Club. Officials at CBS, who will broadcast the tournament, were ecstatic at the news. Recent data by Neilsen Media Research indicates that nearly 69% of viewers fall asleep during golf telecasts. It’s an open secret within the professional golf community that even the players have difficulty staying awake during matches.

So what does the new Golfball game look like? As in current pro tournaments, golfers will play in groups of three. But under the new rules, all three will tee-off in unison at the firing of the starter’s pistol. After two minutes, the next threesome will be released. The winner of a round will be the golfer with the lowest total combination of time and strokes.

To make the game even more challenging, players will be able to move an opponent’s ball. “This is key to the new look of the game,” said Gene Mybeck who officiated a secret exhibition match last December at TPC Scottsdale. “At the tee-off, Tiger had the longest drive, then on the way to his ball, he ran a slant route to scoop up Phil Mickelson’s ball and threw it into the rough—it was awesome.”

While golfers will need to get in shape to withstand the rigors of the new game, less athletic pros will be able to compete thanks to the new rule that allows a caddy to defend their golfers’ balls. Said Mybeck, “By the fourth hole, golfers were figuring out their strategy. That’s when Phil called for his caddy to race ahead and throw a cross-body block on Tiger. From then on, they had their chemistry right, and Phil was able to make up time and win the match.”

Purists and senior golfers are up in arms over the new rules that will extend to amateurs at all public and private courses in 2012. But as an unnamed USGA spokesman said, “Golfers who can’t hack the new rules should consider bowling or croquet. Face it, golf is gone. Golfball is here, and it’s going to be huge.”

The wife of the Captain of America’s Ryder Cup golf team is passionate about America.

Corey Pavin’s wife recently posed for an American golf magazine – Avid Golfer. She posed with just a colored sheet covering her body.  Lisa Pavin used to be somewhat of an introvert, but not anymore.

Lisa is not your average Ryder Cup wife, smiling happily for the cameras in her patriotic outfit. She’s desperate to see her husband carry off the cup from Celtic Manor, so much so that she’s been christened ” Captainess” in the American media.

Some might consider her commitment to victory rather unhinged. “I want to win the Cup more than anything,” Lisa, 36 (Corey Pavin is 50), said. “That’s all life has been about lately, the Ryder Cup.

Pavin said she became passionate about the Ryder Cup after marrying Corey Pavin, known as a smart, competitive golfer.   “It took over my own life, but I really do not deserve much attention”, attractive 36-year-old said.  “‘I laugh, because I think:  Wow, I did not do anything to so many people talking about me.”

Pavin is the daughter of Vietnamese refugees who grew up in Iowa and not one to shy away from attention. “Captainess” – is a term she and her husband came up with. She wants to “build a brand in the Ryder Cup” and does not want to be remembered as the only golfer’s wife.

While acknowledging that his wife received much attention Pavin did not think it will turn into a game at Celtic Manor next week, even if he knows the Fleet Street tabloids will try everything possible to make it one.

“This is much ado about nothing,” he says. “Much has been said that the photos, but for me, I thought that this was done in great taste. I thought it was a beautiful picture, but it is a beautiful woman and I’m lucky to have her as his wife.

Corey Pavin said his wife’s passion for the Ryder Cup has been misinterpreted.

“She loves the Ryder Cup so that I love the Ryder Cup,” he says. “When we make love, we are both thinking about the Ryder Cup.”

NEW YORK, NY – One golfer set the course on fire this past weekend – literally!

Golf isn’t usually thought of as a violent or dangerous sport – unless you’re an unaware spectator that gets hit in the head with a ball. Golfer’s usually play on beautiful, pristine courses and the sport is usually associated with finesse and calmness. With that in mind, associating a 12-acre fire with golf would never happen. Well … there’s a first time for everything.

How many golfer’s can claim that their swing was the cause of a 12-acre blaze? As it stand now, only one. The golfer, who’s name is being withheld, apparently hit a rock while trying to battle his way out of dry rough at Shady Canyon Golf Course in Irvine, CA this past weekend. The swing set off a fire that eventually consumed 12-acres.

Orange County fire authority Capt. Greg McKeown says more than 150 firefighters, backed up by helicopter, were required to put out the wildfire on Saturday.

“There’s a lot of dead growth out there,” said McKeown, adding that the dry tinder is always a “pretty big contributor” to wildfires in the region.

The good news: No charges have been filed against the unidentified golfer.

The bad news: The golfer may face a two stroke penalty.

NEW YORK, NY – Elin Nordegren finally breaks her silence and tells her side of the story!

Elin Nordegren is now officially Tiger Woods’ ex-wife. It wasn’t by choice, she was forced down this route thanks to Woods’ philandering and ill-advised decisions. At one point, Nordegren seemed like the perfect wife – beautiful, loyal and a great mother, but Woods flushed all of that down the toilet. Nordegren has been extremely silent over the past nine months, but she’s finally breaking her silence in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE magazine.

The Swedish beauty admits that she tried desperately to save her marriage with golf’s No. 1. “Blindsided” by his multiple affairs, she worked to save their relationship, but in the end the damage was irreparable and she didn’t trust him.

“I’ve been through the stages of disbelief and shock, to anger and ultimately grief over the loss of the family I so badly wanted for my children,” she says in the magazine’s latest issue, due out this Friday.

Nordegren has handled the heartbreak and betrayal with grace and as best as anyone could. The 30-year-old mother of two is studying towards a college degree in psychology, and says that despite her now ex-husband’s betrayal, “I also feel stronger that I ever have. I have confidence in my beliefs, my decisions and myself.”

“My immediate plan is for the kids and me to continue to adjust to our new situation. I am going to keep taking classes, but my main focus is to try to give myself time to heal,” she says.

She also told the magazine that this was her first – and last – interview, as she intends to remain a private person.
