ABC Family has a surprise for viewers of their hit show, Pretty Little Liars.   Tonight’s episode, “Breaking the Code”, features a special appearance by WWN’s own Bat Boy.

UPDATE (May, 2012):  Did you see Bat Boy in the episode?  You have to look VERY closely… look at the old house, again.  You will have another chance.  Rumors are swirling that Bat Boy will be a regular on Pretty Little Liars!   Stay tuned… WWN is covering this.

There  were rumors swirling on the internet that Bat Boy was to  be revealed as – “A” – the mysterious person who has been taunting the PLLs.   March 19th was  billed by ABC Family as “A Day” because “A”  because “A” was  revealed.  There was a great deal of speculation that Bat Boy was “A” and has been the one terrorizing the PLLs with texts and notes that have drops of his Bat Boy blood on them.  After the final episode aired… it is still true!  Bat Boy is on the A team!

Bat Boy has been a fan of the show since it began two years ago.  There are rumors that Bat Boy is dating Lucy Hale (she plays Arai), one of the stars of the show, but she’s trying to keep it a secret:

In Season Three  Bat Boy will become involved “intimately” with one of the PLLs.  Is Aria?  Is it Hannah?  Is it Emily or perhaps it’s Spencer, who has long been an admirer of Bat Boy.

There are also rumors that Bat Boy is dating the lead singer on a featured song on tonight’s show.   Here’s Katy . featured singer with the party band Moses Blue:

Is Bat Boy the mysterious “A”???

A short film by first time writer/director Sean Tyler was recently released.  It centers around the infamous Devil Girl of Devonshire and is a real thriller!  The writing, preproduction, and principle shooting took place over three weeks in Fall 2011.

WWN reviewers saw an advance screening of the film and gave it two big ears up.  WWN has long been considered THE worldwide authority on all things “mutant” and this Devil Girl certainly meets our “mutant” standards.  Devil Girl is quite talented with her devil tail.  Best to keep your distance.

Though it seems that Devil Girl is a fan of Bat Boy, and she has sufficiently terrorized the people around her, we advise her to keep her distance from Bat Boy… he does not like to share the limelight.

Bat Boy has been seen on the stand-up comedy circuit.

NEW YORK — While many thought Bat Boy had gone into seclusion in recent weeks to shed his current set of wings, several reports pin him in unlikely spots: comedy clubs throughout New York City. According to eyewitness accounts, the creature is trying his hand at stand-up.

Whether it’s Comedy Cellar or Carolines, Gotham Comedy Club or Laugh Lounge, Bat Boy has been doing guest spots at all of the city’s premiere stand-up locations. However, some find his stage show to be quite unsettling.

“He just kind of stands there and shrieks,” said Bart Hall, a regular club-goer. “I was expecting to hear about his exploits and daring escapes, his opinions on women and hot-button social issues. Seeing him just makes you feel … weird.”

Others feel that the creature has a novel approach to the art form.  One attendee to a Bat Boy spot was more than entertained.

“Seeing Bat Boy do comedy changed me,” said Ken Dawson, 44, of White Plains. “He’s taking stand-up and turning it on its head in a really profound way. I thought it was hilarious. It was like a big middle finger to all that stereotypical, airplane joke stuff. Bat Boy could change the world with his comedy.”

Though the audience may be split on their opinions, promoters and club owners seem to support Bat Boy’s foray into stand-up. Karry Batz, Bat Boy’s self-proclaimed manager, maintains that the creature is just starting out.

“He’s just dipping his clawed little toes into comedy,” Batz said.  “We’re taking it slow.  That said, Bat Boy is looking forward to his many spots around town this weekend, an appearance on Opie and Anthony on Monday and a possible summer tour.”

 ”The Hunger Games” inspires “Gladiator Style” Reality TV!

The upcoming movie sensation, “The Hunger Games”, is influencing Hollywood in unexpected ways. The film, which opens on March 23rd, is already breaking box office records. Advance ticket sales for the film have outsold previous record holder, “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” making the dystopian series’ first film the most pre-purchased ticket ever- and Hollywood execs are finding creative ways to keep the cash-cow going.

“People are fascinated by the concept of the film- young people battling to the death, with the winner as the sole survivor. We want to bring that excitement from the big screen to every living room in America,” said one Fox executive.

Therein lies the theme of the hottest new reality T.V show: “Reality Gladiators.”

In the premiere season, 15 contestants will fight to the death in the most controversial program ever on TV.  As in the movie, the competitors will be released in an arena filled with traps and obstacles, and then will be provided with a variety of lethal weapons. In an attempt to up the ante and build public interest in the idea, the network has decided to use real reality TV stars as competitors.

“We want to make people care about the competition,” our source said, “whether you want to watch ‘Jersey Shore’s’ Snooki hit with a crossbow, or ‘The Bachelor’s’ Ben Flajnik decapitated with a machete, this is truly a program for every reality TV fan.”

WWN wondered, how will these Reality stars be convinced to participate in such a dangerous program? It turns out that there is already a waiting list to join the cast. Among those already selected are Bethenny Frankel, Pauley D, Kate Gosselin, and Ben Flajnik. Snooki was rumored to have dropped out with the announcement of her pregnancy, but is in talks to return for season 2.

“These ‘Stars’, they just can’t get enough of the limelight – good or bad. They were practically begging us to let them try out.” WWN was told that the selection process for the program is an unusual one. Rather than “audition,” the candidates’ entry was voted upon by a panel, based on how loathsome they were found to be, and “how beneficial” it would be for mankind to be rid of them forever.

Sources tell us that Lindsay Lohan made repeated attempts to land a role on the show, but was turned down for not being a true ‘Reality’ star.

Scientists have found a new influenza virus that infects bats.  Bat Boy seems to be immune to it, but still… beware!

The bat flu virus is sweeping the globe and  can infect people, especially if Bat Boy decides to send some of his friends your way.

According to Jason Jasonorus, chief of the molecular virology and vaccines  at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Bat Flu could be more lethal (in a crazy kind of way)  than the bird flu or the swine flu.

He and a team of American and Guatemalan researchers isolated the virus from fruit-eating, little yellow-shouldered bats in Guatemala.

The new virus belongs to a family of flu viruses called Influenza Bat Boy.  Birds are natural hosts for these viruses, but they are found in other animals, too, including pigs, seals, ducks, emus, koalas and whales and of course, humans, according to the CDC. The flu viruses that cause pandemics generally emerge from infected animal populations.

Is Bat Boy spreading the flu?

Does Bat Boy even know what influenza is?

Good questions!  And WWN is working to get the answer.  We have contact Dr. Barry Lead – Ph.D. in Mutant Bat Sciences – to discus the bat flu and how (or why) Bat Boy is involved.

“This does not seem to be something that Bat Boy would be involved in.  He doesn’t need a virus to attack humans.  He’s fully capable of doing it on his own.  But sometimes he does like giving people a good scare, so I am investigating.”

While bats so far haven’t been known to contribute to human flu, they have been found carrying a number of diseases that can affect both us and domestic animals, including Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS).

And scientists have also identified ABBS ( Acute Bat Boy Syndrome).

This guy has a bad case of ABBS.

So does he:

“Bats’ global distribution, abundance, social lifestyle and ability to fly long distances make them well-equipped to acquire and spread virus, and they may be taking direction from the mutant,” said Jasonorus.

It’s not clear how this all happened, but authorities are trying to locate Bat Boy to question him about it.

LOS ANGELES -  Heidi Klum split from Seal and within a day she has a new beau:  Bat Boy!

Heidi Klum interviewed a number  lawyers and is ready to file for divorce from Seal.  And now she can be with her true love… Bat Boy.

The world may have been stunned wh announced their divorce this past weekend, but according to new reports, the couple had been plotting their separation for weeks!

Heidi met Bat Boy at a convention in New York last year and reports are that they fell in love immediately.  “Ironically, Heidi felt that Bat Boy was more of a man than Seal,” said a source close to Klum.

One of the reasons Heidi is divorcing Seal is because of his nasty temper, but Bat Boy has been known to fly of the handle as well.  “Bat Boy is no shrinking violet either,” said Dr. Barry Leed who has studied Bat Boy for the last ten years.  “Bat Boy is a lot to handle, but I think Klum is up to the task.”

Klum and Bat Boy plan to split their time between Hollywood and West Virginia.
