NASA scientists have reportedly confirmed that the planet Nibiru will collide with Earth in July of this year.

The Nibiru collision with Earth in 2012 has been predicted for a long time, but astrophysicists, cosmologists and astronomers around the world have now come to a consensus that Earth will indeed collide with the planet, which lies just outside Pluto.

Nibiru, in Babylonian Astronomy translates to “Planet of Crossing” or “Point of Transition”, especially of rivers, i.e. river crossings or ferry-boats, a term of the highest point of the ecliptic, i.e. the point of summer solstice, and its associated constellation. The establishment of the Nibiru point is described in tablet 5 of the Enuma Elish. Its cuneiform sign was often a cross, or various winged disc. The Sumerian culture was located in the fertile lands between the Euphrates and Tigris rivers, at the southern part of today’s Iraq.

As the highest point in the paths of the planets, Nibiru was considered the seat of the summus deus who pastures the stars like sheep, in Babylon identified with Marduk. This interpretation of Marduk as the ruler of the cosmos was identified as an early monotheist tendency in Babylonian religion by Alfred Jeremias.

“Revelations of the Mayans 2012 and Beyond,” proves that Mayans had contact with extraterrestrials.  Producer Raul Julia-Levy told WWN that the evidence is “overwhelming.”   And the Mexican government is backing him up.

“Mexico will release codices, artifacts and significant documents with evidence of Mayan and extraterrestrial contact, and all of their information will be corroborated by archaeologists,” said Julia-Levy, son of actor Raul Julia.

Luis Augusto Garcia Rosado, the minister of tourism for the Mexican state of Campeche, said new evidence has emerged “of contact between the Mayans and extraterrestrials, supported by translations of certain codices, which the government has kept secure in underground vaults for some time.”

He also referenced “landing pads in the jungle that are 3,000 years old.”

Raul-Julia claims there is proof that the Mayans intended to lead the planet for thousands of years, but were forced to escape after an invasion by “men of dark intentions,” leaving behind evidence of an advanced race.

“The Mexican government is not making this statement on their own — everything we say, we’re going to back up,” he said.

The film is directed by Juan Carlos Rulfo, who won the Humanitas Prize for “Those Who Remain” in 2009 and the Sundance Grand Jury Prize for International Documentary for “In the Pit” in 2006. Juan Diego Rodriguez Gonzalez will serve as the Guatemalan executive producer, and Eduardo Vertiz as the Mexican executive producer.

“The message of the film is crucial to human survival,” Julia-Levy said.

When Julia-Levy, producer Ed Elbert and co-producer Sheila McCarthy announced the Mexican cooperation with their documentary to , they were circumspect about claims of alien contact, with Julia-Levy admitting he’d been ordered not to say anything about it.

The Guatemalen government was also skeptical and brushed off the question about alien contact, while allowing the filmmakers’ access to previously unexplored sections of a Mayan site at Calakmul.

Not only did the Guatemalen government change its tune, but they also joined the project, giving access to artifacts and newly discovered prophecies.  “We believe for certain that aliens worked with the Mayans.,” said Guatemalen arts minister, Jose Rosado.

“Guatemala, like Mexico, home to the ancient yet advanced Mayan civilization … has also kept certain provocative archeological discoveries classified, and now believes that it is time to bring forth this information in the new documentary,” Guatemala’s minister of tourism, Guillermo Novielli Quezada, said in a statement.

He said the country was working with filmmakers “for the good of mankind.”

Raul-Julia claims that the order to cooperate came directly from the country’s president, Alvaro Colom Caballero.

Guatemala is the site of a large number of pre-Columbian Mayan settlements in the Mirador Basin, including the extensive and highly organized city of El Mirador (detail, left; exterior on previous page).

“Revelations of the Mayans 2012 and Beyond”  is due for a theatrical release in late 2012, before the end of the Mayan calendar.

While doomsday scenarios focus on the calendar ending on Dec. 21, 2012, many scholars point out that it simply resets for another 5,126-year cycle on that date.

WASHINGTON – The Obama Administration has approved the addition of two days to the month of February in the 2012 calendar.

As we saw earlier this year when it was announced that a shift in the earth’s axis created a new astrological sign, now calendar makers around the world are faced with a new standard as well. Starting in 2012, February will receive 2 extra days, forever. 2012 was scheduled to be a leap year but with the new revelation about the permanent need for the extra days, the concept of leap year has been scrapped indefinitely.

For centuries, February did not even exist on the calendar at all. The Romans, who we can thank for our current calendar system, developed the calendar for the purposes of governing the cycle of planting and harvesting as they were an agricultural population.

This month was never considered to be worth counting as it occurred during the winter when no farming took place. That being said, February clearly has a lot of catching up to do and the two days are definitely well deserved.

Accountants and book-keepers around the world are rejoicing over the news.

“I for one am glad we are getting extra days. It has always been a royal pain in the you-know-what to budget the year with that pesky 28 day month in it,” said Susan Shechter, a book-keeper for a small family run business.

Calendar designers and manufacturers are seeing their fair share of problems as they adjust to the new rules.

“We keep having to send the designs back for February. The memo hasn’t seemed to be circulated to all of our designers and they continue to give February 29 days for 2012. At least they remembered that it was supposed to be a leap year. They usually forget that,” said Julio Gonzalez, owner of Here and Now Calendars.

On a final good note, after retabulating the tax tables to conform to the new 367 day calendar year, the IRS discovered that calculating taxes would no longer be a complex and painstaking process. That means this is our last year dealing with a multifarious tax system. For once, the planets really seem to have aligned in our favor.

Celebrations are kicking off to welcome the Year of the Dragon, the new Lunar Year.   There are many predictions for 2012.

Some consider the Year of the Dragon a lucky year to be born.

Demographers saw spikes in births in China in 1976, 1988, and 2000, which were also dragon years.

“Each one of the 12 animals in the zodiac has a sort of astrological connotation,” said Wong Li a prominent Chinese astrologer. “People born in the Year of the Dragon are said to be, to have strong personalities, and be ambitious, and self-assured. On the flip side they can be strong-headed and egotistical.”

Wong said the dragon’s also unique because it’s the only mythical creature in the zodiac, and began appearing in Chinese culture and art some 2,000 years ago.

In New York, organizations in Chinatown are preparing for two weeks’ worth of activities. On Monday afternoon, a firecracker ceremony is planned in Roosevelt Park in Manhattan, and next Sunday, January 29, marks the 13th annual Lunar New Year Parade and Festival, which kicks off at Canal Street.

The new Chinese year 4710 begins on January 23, 2012.  Chinese all over the world are celebrating the New Year with the new sign of the year, the dragon.

According to Chinese legend, a long time ago, the gods called together all the animals on the planet, and told them that there will be a race. The first twelve winners will be included in a special list that they were coming up with. So on the chosen date, all the animals lined up and started to race each other. Being the smallest, the rat was able to weave its way through and under all the other animals and ended up crossing the finish line first. Next came the ox, followed by the tiger, the rabbit, the dragon, the snake, the horse, the goat, the monkey, the rooster, the dog, and lastly, the pig. That’s how those twelve animals ended up representing the twelve animal signs of the Chinese zodiac, each with its own specific characteristics.

For the Chinese, the dragon is the luckiest and most auspicious of all the animal signs. Chinese parents want their kids to get married in the Year of the Dragon. Chinese couples rush to make “dragon babies” because they’re supposed to be lucky. You can just imagine the number of Chinese babies that will be born this year.

In addition, for Chinese, new year meant decorating and wearing red, having lots of food at home, attending fireworks and parades, and having lots of red envelopes with money inside. There would be round fruits so that there’ll be lots of money, and pineapples for prosperity. A big fried fish would also be present because fish supposedly represented abundance.

Many Chinese masters, astrologers and geomancers are making predictions for the Year of the Dragon.  Here are a few:

1)  They predict natural disasters and financial volatility, especially to crisis-hit Europe.

“The world economy will be unstable in the Year of the Dragon, because the economies in Europe and the US are still suffering from the effects of the recession,” Hong Kong feng shui master Anthony Cheng says.

2)  There will good news late in the year for the United States, but charts for Europe make grim reading.  Europe will collapse.

“Europe will not recover so soon – it is expected to suffer terribly all year.  But what I can say is this, a recovery for the US economy is possible in 2012,” he says.

3) Russia and China are the best bets for financial investments in 2012. The two emerging markets will be the best performers in a volatile year

4) China will have some political surprises.  The Communist Party will hold its 18th Congress to select a new generation of leaders.

“In the second half of the year, a scandalous corruption case will be exposed in China,” warns Cheng, refusing to elaborate about who will be implicated.

“In Hong Kong and in mainland China, a number of high-ranking officials will be forced to step down. Some may be thrown behind bars, or even pass away.”

5) C hinese astrologers confirm the alien invasion and reveal that in 2012 humans will meet aliens and become “interplanetary friends”.

6) There will be many storms and floods because 2012 is the Year of the Water Dragon.

It’s official.  The world is getting closer to the apocalypse.

The Doomsday Clock, a timepiece used as a barometer of humankind’s fate, was moved one minute closer to midnight the other day, the first time it has been nudged forward since 2007.

And then yesterday, it was moved another minute closer.  It is now 11:56, four minutes before the hour of doom.

The re-setting of the clock was carried out by the world’s leading atomic  scientists and aimed at warning the public about various catastrophic dangers, due to nuclear weapons.

The process involved in deciding the time is a serious one, overseen by a venerable board of scientists, Nobel laureates and others and concluded with a symposium in Washington. The setting of the clock is no longer based only on the proliferation of nuclear arms, but also on threats such as climate change and biological weaponry.

The reason an additional minute was added yesterday was because “the Mayans were probably right,” according to one top scientist.

In moving the clock ahead, scientists cited the failure of world leaders to achieve significant progress on the reduction of nuclear weapons and in developing a comprehensive response to climate change. Just two years ago, following global talks on climate change in Copenhagen and international pledges to reduce nuclear stockpiles, the BAS moved the clock backward by a minute.

Robert Socolow, a professor at Princeton University did the actual reset of the Doomsday Clock.

“Faced with clear and present dangers of nuclear proliferation and climate change, and the need to find sustainable and safe sources of energy, world leads are failing to change business as usual,” said Lawrence Krauss, co-chairman of the group’s board of sponsors.

“As we see it,” Krauss said, “the major challenge at the heart of humanity’s survival in the 21st century is how to meet energy needs for economic growth in developing and industrial countries without further damaging the climate … and without risking further spread of nuclear weapons — and in fact setting the stage for global reductions.”

Since being unveiled in 1947, the clock has been reset 20 times. It came closest to doomsday in 1953, when the start of the nuclear arms race pushed its hand to two minutes to midnight, and moved the farthest away in 1991, when the signing of the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty (START) by the United States and the Soviet Union gave the world 17 minutes until midnight.

The Mayans predicted the world will end on 12/21/12, so the scientists may move the doomsday clock another minute closer in May of this year – after they examine more evidence.

“The goal is to have the clock strike midnight just seconds before the world ends. Then we’d know we were as accurate as possible,” said Professor Jonathan Horning of Oxford University.

PORTSMOUTH, NH – Newt Gingrich, Republican candidate for President, told a town hall audience that his wife is a robot.

Callista Gingrich, goes everywhere with her husband.  She is in the foreground of his Presidential campaign, and her beaming blonde visage looms as large as his.

The former speaker’s wife co-signs his campaign organization’s e-mails, produces his movies, appears beside him on Fox News, and even reads his work for audio-book adaptations – but she has maintained such a low profile over a decade in their marriage that she was an enigma even to some of his closest supporters.

Not anymore.  Today Newt Gingrich announced that his wife, Callista, is in his words a “Stepford Wife.”   Newt told reporters in New Hampshire today.  “Soon after I married Callista, I had her brain replaced with a robotic brain.  She does anything I tell her to, which frankly, the way all wives should behave to their husbands.”

Callista has been the most public and the least known of the political partners bracing for the scrutiny of a presidential campaign. In eleven years of marriage, Callista Gingrich has never been the subject of a profile. Gingrich’s aides declined to make her available to any newspapers for an interview, to talk about her or the marriage on the record or on background, or even to suggest friends who might offer a glimpse of the would-be First Lady.

The reason:  Callista is a robot.

Friends say she’s ready for the rigors of Iowa, where she went to college, and a comfortable public performer, if one who has spent much of her time on stage behind a gleaming french horn in the Fairfax City Band.

“The robotic brain I had put in her head, can handle any situation,” said Newt.

“She is much more in the model of a Laura Bush than a Hillary Clinton,” said David Bossie, the president of the conservative group Citizens United and a longtime Gingrich ally. “She just is a strong partner like Laura Bush, was but not out in front like Hillary Clinton was.”

Callista Gingrich is Newt’s third wife.  He was tired of having his wives “talk back” to him and deny him sex.  “Callista will have sex with me whenever I ask her too and she never talks back.  If she starts to talk back, I just say the word “Speaker” and she shuts up. I love her so much.”

Archeologists Georgia are claiming that they have discovered some ancient Mayan ruins.

Almost everyone has been taught that the  Mayan people thrived in Central America from about 250 to 900 A.D., building magnificent temples in Guatemala, Honduras, Belize and southern Mexico.

Not so… they also built temples in the mountains of North Georgia.

Richard Thornton, an architect by training, has been researching the history of native people in and around Georgia for years.  He wrote about an 1,100-year-old archeological site near Georgia’s highest mountain, Brasstown Bald.  Another archeologist, Taylor Manon of Atlanta said “we have positively identified this as the site of the fabled city of Yupaha, which Spanish explorer Hernando de Soto failed to find in 1540.”

Archeologist Mark Williams of the University of Georgia, doesn’t believe.  ”This is total and complete bunk. There is no evidence of Maya in Georgia. Move along now.”

But WWN has spoken with top archeologists from around the world that have traveled to North Georgia to examine the site.  The conclusion:  Thornton is right.  The Mayans did have a settlement in Georgia!

Thornton, who said he is Georgia Creek Indian by birth, volunteered that doing research about Mesoamerican culture in the U.S. has been a difficult way to make a living, but is happy to be finally vindicated.

Some of his conclusions about the Mayan connection to the southern U.S., he said, are based on oral history. There are place names in Georgia and North Carolina, he said, that are very similar to Mayan words. And the ruins near Brasstown Bald, he said, include mounds and irrigation terraces similar to those found at Mayan settlements in Central America.

The Georgia Tourism board is already setting up tourist packages for those who want to see the Mayan ruins.  ”We think it will be a particularly hot site to see, especially this year, which the Mayans predicted would be the last for mankind.”

MEXICO CITY –  There’s only 51 weeks before Dec. 21, 2012, the day the Maya say the world will end!

Southeastern Mexico, the heart of Maya territory, plans a yearlong celebration – preparing for the end of the world in December, 2012

Mexico’s tourism agency expects to draw 920 million visitors by next year only to the regions of Chiapas, Yucatan, Quintana Roo, Tabasco and Campeche.  All of Mexico usually lures about 21 million foreigners in a year.   Mexican officials believe there will be over 500 million people in Mexico when the world ends.

The Winter Solstice in the coming year, as a time of renewal. Many archeologists believe that the 2012 reference on a 1,300-year-old stone tablet only marks the end of a cycle in the Mayan calendar.  But Mayan scholars agree that the archeologists are wrong, “the world will end,” said Jimmy Rivera of Harvard University.

“The world will end,” said Ysidri Zabeda, a tourism spokeswoman for the Caribbean state of Quintana Roo, home to Cancun. “For us, it is a message of hope.  There will be a new world, a better world.”

Cities and towns in the Mayan region on Wednesday will start the yearlong countdown. In Chiapas the town of Tapachula on the Guatemalan border will start a countdown on an 8-foot digital clock in the main park exactly a year before the mysterious date.

In the nearby archaeological site of Izapa, Maya priests will burn incense, chant and offer prayers.

In the tropical jungle of Quintana Roo, between the resorts of Cancun and Playa del Carmen, people are putting messages and photos in a time capsule that will be buried for 50 years. Maya priests and Indian dancers will perform a ritual at the time capsule ceremony.

Yucatan state has announced plans to complete the Maya Museum of Merida by next summer.

“People who still live in Mayan villages will host rites and burn incense for us to go back in time and try to understand the Mayan wisdom,”  Zabeda said.

The Maya reputation for wisdom has people taking the alleged prediction seriously.

The Mayan civilization, which reached its height from 300 A.D. to 900 A.D., had a talent for astronomy

Its Long Count calendar begins in 3,114 B.C., marking time in roughly 394-year periods known as Baktuns. Thirteen was a significant, sacred number for the Mayas, and they wrote that the 13th Baktun ends on Dec. 21, 2012.

The doomsday theories stem from a stone tablet discovered in the 1960s at the archaeological site of Tortuguero in the Gulf of Mexico state of Tabasco that describes the return of a Mayan god at the end of a 13th period.

Believers have taken the end-of-the world fears to the Internet with hundreds of thousands of websites and blogs.

“The Maya are viewed by many westerners as exotic folks that were supposed to have had some special, secret knowledge,” said Mayan scholar Sven Gronemeyer. “What happens is that our expectations and fears get projected on the Maya calendar.”

Gronemeyer of La Trobe University in Australia compares the supposed Mayan prophecies to the “Y2K” hype, when people feared all computer systems would crash when the new millennium began on Jan. 1, 2000.

The blogosphere exploded when Mexico’s archaeology institute acknowledged on Nov. 24 a second reference to Dec. 21, 2012, on a brick found at other ruins.

Jackie Chinell of Albuquerque, New Mexico, says that 2012 “is going to be ‘a trip’”.  Channell, who owns Maya Sites Travel Services, is surprised that she already has 1,250 reservations for three tour packages she is offering to major Mayan ruin sites in the week leading up to the solstice.

She named one “Last Days on Earth.”

“We put together these tours, and we’ve got lots of signups, and people are excited about it,” she said. “Our tourists will go out with a big bang.”

LOS ANGELES — An adult entertainment studio is  building an underground bunker in anticipation of the alien attack in November.

The San Fernando Valley studio calls it a “post-alien” underground bunker in anticipation of the  alien attack predicted to take place in November, 2011.

Extraterrestrial researchers and NASA scientists predict the alien attack will occur around November 27th, 2011.  The three spaceships are now somewhere between Mars and Jupiter and moving at a rapid speed.  They have been identified as aliens from Planet Gootan.

A spokesman for Van Nuys-based Pink Panda said the bunker will be “far more than a mere bomb shelter or subterranean survivalist enclave” with amenities such as multiple fully-stocked bars, an enormous performing stage and a sophisticated content production studio.

“Our goal is nothing less than to survive the attack from the Gootans in comfort and luxury,” said Pink Panda spokesman Sharona Tookie, “whether the invasion is extremely violent with fireballs flung from Gootan spaceship, or with bombs, flesh-eating zombies aliens, or some combination of the above, we will be ready.”
