LOS ANGELES – Tim Tebow was reluctant at first due to his injuries, but sources say he has finally agreed to appear on DWTS.
The hype surrounded Tim Tebow is not about to die down anytime soon. The former Florida Gators star and Denver Bronco quarterback Tim Tebow has reportedly agreed to appear on the next season of Dancing With he Stars, according to sources close to the network.
Tebow, who helped the Denver Broncos to a surprising spot in the AFC playoffs and an even more stunning win over perennial postseason bully Pittsburgh in the wild-card round, will appear on ABC’s hit show “Dancing With The Stars” according to one of the regulars, who has been begging him to do so for a week.
Karina Smirnoff, who celebrated her 34th birthday recently, is excited and said that having Tebow on the show was a belated birthday gift for her.
Tebow and the Broncos were ousted from the playoffs in a lopsided loss at New England, but Smirnoff, who won last season’s DWTS with J.R. Martinez, is still interested in doing the Tango with Tebow.
“He can run, jump, pass, throw touchdowns,” she said. “All that is missing is to see if he has the dance skills. That would make him an all around athlete and someone that I would love to dance with on the show.”
The complete DWTS cast will be announced in the spring… but you can be sure God will be watching.
