obmam's plan has ups and downs well the good part is 20 more days of school but the bad staying at school till 6 or 7. im a kid and i only agree with half of his plan. more school days, more time hanging out with friends at school. like my english teachers says" do something productive"

I attend the 8th grade, and I don't want to go school longer because other students aren't willing to actually put forth the effort and study. I have tons of friends and go out on the weekends, and still maintain an all "A" report card. Making us go to school longer will just make kids slack off even more. Give us good teachers who aren't just there to get their paycheck, but ones who really want to help the next generation learn how to survive this world.

Man you all are funny! Obama is great althoughI don't agree with more school. More school will not change the education system. Like someone said before he should get rid of No Child Left Behind. We don't have the money for more school. I am pretty sure he will not follow through o his statement. I hink the the statements purpose was to show education is important on his agenda. Honestly you think Obama is an A**hole just because of this??? Lets be serious. All the stupid stuff Bush not only siad but DID. Obama is ok however his tactics for mangeing education are a bit much.

Barrack Obama is an idiot. This is just another one of his many ideas that will ruin this country. Why the hell would you extend something that is already too long. Take out all the bullshit classes and make school last 3 hours a day and we would learn the same thing. Fuck The President.
