First hand, which war was she referring to. I don't remember ever being at war with CHNA, but there was a war in the Pacific with JAPAN (that's where the Samurai came from. "Same-yness?" Talk about POOR English. And referencing David Carradine? What does she think he is PART CHINESE? He may have played a half Chinese-half American on TV, but he was IRISH! If she is going to speak in another country, she needs to have some lessons in Social Studies so she can be able to know what's she's talking about and also so she doesn't risk p***ing off her audience. OR better yet,TALK about the TOPIC instead of trying to be folksie. It comes across as being so dumb that she's nothing more than just a joke.

Although neither is favored in this country there is a big difference between socialism and communism … maybe we can hold class one day for Palin and all of her supporters. Too bad politics can't be based more on truth and honesty, instead of fear and corruption and me, me, me. Everyone wants smaller gov't, hard to believe it huh? Guess it would be an easier pill to swallow if everyone ran their business in an ethical and responsible way. That is one of the charges of gov't, compliance with society's laws. I don't think Social Security or Medi-Cal/Medicare are going away either … those programs are socialist in nature and yet I don't see the lines of people trying to cancel them? Why is that? Hmmm … I seem to remember something with words like – for the people … in it. Not for my special interest group or political party.

butt kissing is part of politics … but stupid, we hope shouldn't be. There is nothing wrong with acting with humility, nothing wrong with promoting better relations. However to go on the world's stage to show your stupidity and boast your common folk mentallity, just unexcusable.

I hope this president can turn things around at least in the 2nd half of his first term. I would hope any president could but this is not a job for Sarah Palin and this nation will not stomach another Clinton in the Whitehouse. How one acts or speaks is different that what one does. Maintaining political relations is acting. I think our President is doing well with the wars we are fighting and a shift in focus to follow the terrorists is the right course of action. We will have soldiers in harms way in Iraq, Afganistan and other places in the Middle East for decades. Don't think so? Just look over towards S Korea. (North Korea is … yup, communist).
