The earthquake was caused by tectonic plate movement. Rev. Pat Robertson seems to be a lying, egotistical, hypocritical bigot with no academic knowledge of the world around him. WWN is a satirical online mag rag that is put in place (as stalepi said) to vie with the likes of 'The Onion News' and such. But it is amazing that truth is stranger than the fiction written by Ed Anger – e.g. that the Rev. Pat Robertson actually seems to believe that earthquakes are caused by the devil instead of tectonic plate movement. ED You tell it like it is. I am a Christian. I don't think Robertson can speak on behalf of God, but they did supposedly make the pact of which he speaks. His comments were based on the slave rebellion of 1791 led by Boukman Dutty, where the slaves made a well known pact with the devil in exchange for driving out the French. But whether God was involved with the earthquake, only God knows, not Robertson.

i can't decide if this is satire or not. "colored people?" are you effin kidding me? if it's satire, it's pathetic and poorly done. if it's 'real' you should have your typewriter taken away, i know you're not bright enough to have a PC. and if you're really old or sick enough to need an oxygen tank, please light a cigarette in close proximity to it. do us all a favor.
