NENUE FISH COUGHS UP GOLD WATCH

HONOLULU, HI – A Hawaiian resident picnicing on a beach caught a fish with a working watch in its belly!
Curt Carish was sitting on Port Allen beach on Wednesday, when he noticed the fish swimming oddly close to the shore. He used a bamboo stick to stun the 10-inch nenue fish. He then caught it by hand and placed it in his cooler.
Carish noticed the fish had an abnormally large stomach but thought nothing of it. However, when he opened up the cooler later, he found a gold watch sitting next to the fish’s mouth! Even more odd, the watch was still working.
Fishers often find strange items in the stomachs of marine creatures.
In February, A British businessman had his cell phone returned to him – in working condition! – by a fisherman who found it in the belly of a cod.
The Academy of Sciences put on display the contents of a tiger shark’s stomach, which included glass bottles, Spam and a license plate!
Most disturbingly, human bones are sometimes found in sharks’ stomachs, such as this partially-digested human skull. In 1983, a bull shark was dissected and its stomach was found to contain five pounds of human flesh, including dismembered feet.
Beach season is upon us. Be careful out there!
