GARLIC PROTECTS CITY FROM VAMPIRES

LAWNDALE, CA – A California city is considering removing the local garlic plants, but one councilman is firmly against it.
Lawndale, Cali. spent millions of dollars about eight years ago to redevelop the main boulevard area. This included flying in and planting garlic plants, to line the block of 147th Street and Hawthorne Boulevard.
Why the city council picked such an odd plant is unclear. But now, city residents are sick of the disgusting smell and want them removed, at a cost of $35,000.
However, city councilman Jim Ramsey has a very good argument for keeping the plants.

  1. Surely he's kidding. I'm sure there's a major part of this report we are missing. Perhaps it's a species of animal that they are calling "vampires". No one would openly and knowingly say idiotic things.
